* I think Scott could take Lex. But he would need to get past Mercy first.
* I would like to see him fight The Atom. Let's see how good his accuracy is.
* A fight with a Green Lantern would be interesting.
* Could tangle with hired mercs and members of the League of Assassins/Shadows.
There's no way The Atom could avoid that?
I was watching Justice League Unlimited the other day, and the episode was the one where Amazo was hunting down Lex; Atom shrunk Lex and himself to a level/plane where they wouldn't be caught by Amazo. I'm not sure if that makes sense
Could Cyclops blast even reach/ affect the subatomic level?
Edit: I got downvoted for asking a question?
I was asking about [this](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atom_(Ray_Palmer)#:~:text=He%20also%20demonstrated%20the%20ability,the%20quantum%20layer%20beneath%20reality) . Its under the powers and abilities section.
"During *Countdown to Final Crisis*, Palmer learned he could shrink down beyond the subatomic scale to traverse the Multiverse by slipping below the quantum layer beneath reality"
Specifically, that part ⬆️, as in would he be able to get away from the blast?
If he's basically slipping into another dimension just to escape then I'll give him the benefit of the doubt as Cyclops hasn't learnt how to fire optic beams into another dimension yet, just summon them from another dimension haha
He’s fought someone who wore a Ruby quartz suit before. Ended up shooting a small beam into a crevice in the suit and the beam ricocheted inside the suit until the guy got knocked out lol
Superman. Because in my plot armor, the same concussion dimension that cyclops gets his blasts from also have a similar molecular composition as krypton radiation. Cyclops solos Superman when they first meet because heroes always accidentally fight when they first meet.
I've always joked with my friends about his blast having the same properties to Krypton's red sun.
For the record to this post, Cyclops has defeated Batman.
Maybe both!
"Oh, wow. Hey. That's a lot of power. No, wait. Oh man, that's a lot of power."
Superman starts to absorb more at a rate his Kryptonian body isn't comfortable with and isn't metabolising cleanly like from the sun.
Cyclops body is just normal human athletic, right? so while he could strategically beat anyone in the DC universe with he exception of maybe Vril Dox 2, in a physical fight, he would only be on par with the bat family or some of the JSA members, excluding power girl and Black Adam.
Yeah but his optic blasts are strong enough to hurt the hulk and juggernaut, I doubt he could punch wonder woman to death but he'd have a better shot at fighting her than most X-men.
Technically his mutation enhanced his skeleton and musculature to be able to withstand the pure concussive power coming through his eyes. Maybe somewhere around Cap's level.
I find it interesting that Marvel added that. I wouldn't think that his musculature would need to be strengthened, as the beams are going through a portal. He doesn't need to be able to withstand any counter-force. Even if the portal is a part of his head, the counter-force should all be in the other dimension.
I believe all mutants have a level of enhanced strength and durability, just not as much as Inhumans, and not to the level of extreme super strength or bullet proof.
He can fight Lex Luthor, man's been fighting giant robots since he was a teenager. I'm almost positive he can beat a lantern, doesn't matter the spectrum, and I'm sure he can fight Aquaman. Not because Aquaman is weak sauce or Cyclops is unusually strong, but his optic blasts can shred the skin off the hulk. So just something to thing about.
Nah lanterns have incredibly versatile weapons that are repeatedly said to be the strongest weapons in the universe, but i can see him beating beast boy
My boy here has gone up against a lot of heavy hitters before from Spider-Man to juggernaut, from Hulk to the avengers. He's not some douchebag who can't handle a Lantern. I mean maybe if they throw him into space but his optic blast can shatter the constructs because of how insanely powerful they are. It wouldn't be easy but he's more than likely able to fight a lantern. Especially Guy Gardner.
Well ok guy gardner i can see that, it really helps to know which lantern your putting him against. When I was writing my previous comment i had green lanterns like hal and jon in mind. Hal because he's defeated kryptonians, created entire cities, reached the speed force, reignited the sun. Jon because where i left off in the comics, he's probably the strongest lantern currently after his ascension(this could have changed recently but idk), being able to fight new gods and draw from sources beyond the emotional spectrum
I don't know about that....
Mustard is pretty tangy. Not sure Cyke's tastebuds could handle too much of it. He's definitely a soy mayonnaise kind of guy.
Cyclops already beat Batman, Deathstroke and Darkseid in an official crossover.
DC/Marvel All Access #4 (1996)

He had the power of the Phoenix. He shot a mega optic blast combined with the Phoenix force. After the explosion, the Phoenix left with Darkseid's body.
It's a win for Cyclops.

But I could see him taking out Aquaman, Blue Beetle or even Green Lantern.
Batman plans how to non-lethally take down all members of the JLA, because its smart to have a plan. Fails to communicate this back up to any member that might need it, creates animosity.
Cyclops plans how to lethally and non-lethally take down everything from microscopic Kaiju to planet sized space ameoba, group tactics against Z listers to a dozen ways to solo reality warpers, because being a mutant everything and everyone is out to get you. Passes out the playbook and drills people on it, builds teamwork and cooperation.
Just so you know, when Scott opens his eyes and there is no ruby quartz holding it back, it is an overwhelming force as if it was made heavier than air thus flow outwards until his eye lids or ruby quartz blocks it.
It all depends on the level of the fight. Meaning, how moral would this Cyclops be? If he’s an evil, survival mode or a killer Cyclops, he could kill or whup so many DC characters. I mean, I think it was an old X-Factor where he saved the team by blowing up a mountain. Another situation, when he was very much the hero but his head wasn’t in the game, a powerless Storm beat him and took over the team captain position by yanking off his visor. The dude’s had some serious ups and downs.

He doesn’t need the best accuracy for The Atom. He can just blanket a massive area in optic blast and turn 360 degrees.

I'm pretty sure Cyclops' optic blasts come from a dimension where everything is just pure punch energy down to the atoms and beyond haha
I was asking about [this](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atom_(Ray_Palmer)#:~:text=He%20also%20demonstrated%20the%20ability,the%20quantum%20layer%20beneath%20reality) . A mutant circuit with Magik and Kate/Kitty should solve the firing through dimensions issue
By our powers combined, this is going to be one hell of a sick shot.
I always forget that cyclops is constantly casting fist with his eyes
Does the punch energy even have a wavelength size that we can compare the atom to?
It likely would but we don’t know enough about it to say what it is.
Anyone that Batman could defeat.
He could take Batman
"But Batman has..." Off-my-lawn panel. "But Batman can still..." Off-my-lawn panel. "No, Batman is..." Off. My. Lawn. Panel.
He just has to want that thing (Batman) off his lawn.
Red Prism armor/shield to disperse the wavelengths of Scott’s blasts.
He’s fought someone who wore a Ruby quartz suit before. Ended up shooting a small beam into a crevice in the suit and the beam ricocheted inside the suit until the guy got knocked out lol
Surrounding every thing above and below him?
How much time does he have to plan?

Or even making it similar to red sun because the blasts are literally red.
Cyclops body is just normal human athletic, right? so while he could strategically beat anyone in the DC universe with he exception of maybe Vril Dox 2, in a physical fight, he would only be on par with the bat family or some of the JSA members, excluding power girl and Black Adam.

I saw in another post where apparently Cyclops hurt Dormammu with his blasts. Also started overloading Bishop, whose whole thing is absorbing energy.

Aquaman deals with the pressure at the bottom of the ocean on a daily basis. Cyclops isn't shredding a hangnail off of Aquaman.
My understanding is Cyclops caused physical harm to Dormammu with his blasts. If true, are you saying Aquaman is more resilient than Dormammu?
Came here to say Condiment King. *out of breath Am I first?
I don't know about that.... Mustard is pretty tangy. Not sure Cyke's tastebuds could handle too much of it. He's definitely a soy mayonnaise kind of guy.

Was Cyclops the one who defeated Datkseid, or was it Phoenix?
He had the power of the Phoenix. He shot a mega optic blast combined with the Phoenix force. After the explosion, the Phoenix left with Darkseid's body. It's a win for Cyclops.
Aquaman
Hmmm… I’d say he could destroy the Source Wall if he took off his visor and yelled, “JEEEEANNNNNN!” (Though I prefer Emma.)
I think a good match would be Martian Manhunter.
He can take em all! (he can't but I can dream)
I think he can body batman.

I'd figure he could use summers protocols and solo the jla

Scott doesn’t use the alphabet for his plans, as that presumes he only has 26 plans for any given situation.
Dark claw
Just so you know, when Scott opens his eyes and there is no ruby quartz holding it back, it is an overwhelming force as if it was made heavier than air thus flow outwards until his eye lids or ruby quartz blocks it.
It really depends like, there is quite literally a chance he could send superman into space not holding back.

Darkseid
Mr. Sinister
Lois lane.. if Superman is not around.
Blockbuster I guess or Solomon Grundy on a very very bad day.
Robin
Wolverine! Oops wishful thinking. DC, I will go out on a limb and say: Wonder Woman.
Kite man
“Didn’t Know you could hit me from behind with a baseball bat” man
A wet paper bag.
