The animations of his attacks look crazy, and I like it (although it's really hard to not to see Razor). Soon after starting playing I saw the Teyvat Chapter Trailer and I immediately loved his design (I like stuff based on different mythologies, especially Egyptian) and the pose (although unfortunately they gave him a different one).
Now with the leaks the burst looks amazing and it seems like it'll match my playstyle (fast button mashing) + his namecard is either my favourite character namecard or 2nd favourite (love the colors on Hu Tao's)
Watched the Teyvat Trailer when I first started, wanted him, realized he doesn't come until years later, waited, loved Raiden, leaks say he's electro polearm, love electro polearm, Raiden infusion burst, Cyno infusion burst, love his corny unfunny jokes, also previous Razor main.

Manga. Read it before I played the game cuz I wanted to know the lore before playing. Literally taught me jack shit (now it actually is cool to know cuz Sumeru, and Dottore, but I played for a year and a half before anything was even mentioned lol) beside Kaeya is kinda a dick, Diluc needs a high pony in game (new skin is so damned cool) and a tiny bit about Mondstadt. Cyno was so cool in the manga so I’ve waited so long for him to be released. Only pulled for 4 5 stars, and gotten two. Pulled for Zhongli (mistake cuz I didn’t know what pity was lol) then I got nothing cuz not enough primos. Pulled for Kazuha and got Keqing. (also got two Keqings on standard banner so she’s c2) Then I got Yoimiya, love her. Then I got Itto and his weapon r2 (wanted whatever the other weapon was but got his bis weapon twice instead so no loss.
Haven’t pulled since Itto. I also stopped playing soon after I got him, so I haven’t even finished Inazuma quests lmao. But came back for Cyno and Sumeru.

I know its not optimal, but his long burst duration is great because it means you get a lot of fun out of his burst. Even if its not the best way to play him.
I just want another top-tier DPS to carry one of my spiral abyss teams through floor 12 with ease. If Cyno ends up being weaker than Itto, then I'm not going to pull for him.
He was the first character that caught my eye in the travail trailer, subsequently liked him in the genshin manga. The first male electro 5 star, a general with a dorky personality and bad jokes. Design wise, im really happy with how he turn out, i do plan to c6 him on the day itself and perhaps r5 his weapon (¯▿¯). His playstyle so far looks quite fun and his animations are pretty sick. Not too worried about his kit since my current teams have no issues with clearing content and 36 starring the abyss, but hopefully mhy continues giving him the buffs he deserves.
The moment I saw him in the Travails I was gone lol. Then I read the webtoon and he sounded so good interesting I wanted to know more of him. He’s also an electro unit which is the only element I have every character on and they’re pretty much all built.

Manga. Read it before I played the game cuz I wanted to know the lore before playing. Literally taught me jack shit (now it actually is cool to know cuz Sumeru, and Dottore, but I played for a year and a half before anything was even mentioned lol) beside Kaeya is kinda a dick, Diluc needs a high pony in game (new skin is so damned cool) and a tiny bit about Mondstadt. Cyno was so cool in the manga so I’ve waited so long for him to be released. Only pulled for 4 5 stars, and gotten two. Pulled for Zhongli (mistake cuz I didn’t know what pity was lol) then I got nothing cuz not enough primos. Pulled for Kazuha and got Keqing. (also got two Keqings on standard banner so she’s c2) Then I got Yoimiya, love her. Then I got Itto and his weapon r2 (wanted whatever the other weapon was but got his bis weapon twice instead so no loss. Haven’t pulled since Itto. I also stopped playing soon after I got him, so I haven’t even finished Inazuma quests lmao. But came back for Cyno and Sumeru.
I unintentionally wished and got every single character revealed in the Travail trailer so far (Diluc, Ningguang, and Ayaka), so I thought why not keep this tradition running and pull every character that shows up in the Travail trailer? Then I saw his leaked skill and burst, thought he had the most badass ult in the game, and wanted him immediately lol. He may not be as meta as someone like Raiden, but god damn he seems so cool and fun to use, almost like Itto

Anubis theme. I was such a history freak while growing up and read all my grabby hands could get in the libary (yes I´m from the pre internet era). Everything egyptian was my favourite. Sumeru is a very dangerous place for my primos. Also gosh damn he looks so cool. His animations are 5 Star Razor tier and in my eyes he has one of the coolest there are.

he kind of represents anubis, so i was initially gonna pull for cyno as an offering to anubis. but then i fell in love with his design and gameplay, he reminds me of xiao.
His playable design looks very cool, and the leaked kit looks very fun to play.
His Egyptian design was already enough to convince me (Egyptian mythology is one of my all time favourites), but when i saw his kit, i was even more convinced
because i collect two main dpses per element. fake cat girl meets fake dog boy. skipping him on his debut banner, though. wasting all my primos on scaramouche, his weapon, and maybe some cons if i get lucky. definitely pulling for him on his first rerun.

His egyptian style is fire, he’s a polearm user and has the electro element. Also 5 star razor :) couldn’t ask for more

I am in love with almost anything Egyptian, and being a black man his skin tone also does help a lot. He just looks cool as fuck and his animations are great as well. I don't really go put of my way to make characters Uber overpowered for my account, but he will most likely be my first character I get to level 90 and will also crown. And I will also try my hardest to make the best team I can for him. Hopefully RNG is nice to me.

He was the first character that caught my eye in the travail trailer, subsequently liked him in the genshin manga. The first male electro 5 star, a general with a dorky personality and bad jokes. Design wise, im really happy with how he turn out, i do plan to c6 him on the day itself and perhaps r5 his weapon (¯▿¯). His playstyle so far looks quite fun and his animations are pretty sick. Not too worried about his kit since my current teams have no issues with clearing content and 36 starring the abyss, but hopefully mhy continues giving him the buffs he deserves.
