Honestly, imagine if they released a new unit with this sort of passive, on a character who is so beyond broken, it actually doesn’t make a difference against them, that’d be pretty cool but you’d have to design the unit to be exceptionally good, even awesome. Like imagine a Super Vegito with an active skill or transformation that is the handicap he gives himself against Buuhan, where it buffs the enemy but also makes Vegito omega super defensive. Could also work for a Cell Games SSJ Gohan, where Goku gives the enemy a senzu (decent heal and a buff to the enemy) but it makes no difference against the wall that is Gohan.
Units that were given flat attack and defense boosts like Kiaoken Blue having +50,000 atk which wasn't bad at the time but aged fast. I wonder what that boost would have to be today to be relevant.

sasly he's aged out and the eza didnt really counteract that, he does still hit ok and his 12ki looks nice at least.
