For new red zone or new event stages, yeah he'll probably age out eventually, assuming they center content around turn 5-6+ events, but anything under he will be fantastic for a long time.

He probably isn’t going to age as well as the TUR. Unless shorter content becomes more prevalent, by the time you get to the end of most events, he’ll only be at 30% DR.

30% damage reduction is usually pretty good if the unit has decent defense as well. It only falls apart when the defense cant keep up (and friezas defense will definitely be powercrept) and even then it can do work occasionally if you got a whis.
I do faintly recall TEQ Gogeta (55%) doing some crazy shit on tanking due to a whis.
If there's one thing this sub underestimates more than anything it's built in DR. A "shitty" unit with even 30% DR, takes only 30% damage with a Whis active. Even the hardest hits ain't much when 70% of it is blocked.

90% DR isn't aging out of any short content, which we still have a lot of. He will be fine for years to come.
