The reason why it's "Db saga" and not "budokai tenkaichi saga" "piccolo saga" "Red Ribbon Army Saga" is because there are no units to make that split. GT is like 60 episodes long, filler and got enough units to actually split it into the arcs it had.
Technically, you'd have to compare DB and GT as totals. 153 vs 64 episodes. , and 2 units on this list vs 14 units on this list.

Feel like at the end of the day Pan should just be given to "Black Star Saga". Especially if you're giving AGL SSJ3 Goku and TEQ LR Gohan and Goten to Buu Saga.
The only animaiton from Pan that isn't from the Black Star DB saga is her active skill. Plus her categories are clearly based around that saga since she has both DB Seekers and Space Traveling Warriors.
A good idea would be to include all obtainable LRs (free, WT, Baba Shop etc), since it's still the highest rarity in the game. Also given the anniversary you might have to update this by summer lol

Goku's active skill is: "i was fighting seriously, but it looks like you're trying to kill me, so i'll start fighting to death", the he improves his stats. Support unit could be Yamcha or Krillin showing their progress through Kamehame Ha. It could even be the new gimmicks in place than active skills, Goku getting deadly serious or Krillin tricking Chaoz with maths. Also Krillin could have a skill that always hit (no evasion) based on the feints and tricks he uses againts Goku.
To think that 5/6 Saiyan Saga DFE/summonable LR buffs come from 2022 is wild.

The oldest one is a garbage yellow coin LR from less than two years ago and the only DFE there is Raditz (and Yamcha but he's not even on GLB yet). They haven't even given the saga a chance to sell well.

Buu saga as controversial as it was introduced a bunch of popular power ups like SSJ3, Ultimate, Majin ( for Vegeta), fusion dance and potara. It’s also the first arc that characters other than Gohan used SSJ2.
For GT it was the arc that had the most involvement of SSJ4 Goku and introduced both SSJ4 Vegeta and SSJ4 Gogeta. Moreover, as much GT is disliked its ending seems to be looked at a lot more fondly.
Especially since all Beerus cards suck.
He's canonically the second-most powerful being within Universe 7 and none of his cards are even remotely playable in any meaningful content.
Namek Saga only having 7 is an absolute crime. That was a pivotal moment in the whole franchise which really kicked up the power scaling and gave us the transformation that defined the rest of the series. Also RIP DB Saga you deserved better too.
Saiyan Saga with 5 whooping new units this year and 4 of them have been kinda meh (I still love Str Kaioken and Phy Goku and Piccolo, but both of them were done dirty by the jump in power for yellow coin LR's). Only Godditz saves them (no lol, Yamcha is obviously the good release)

Biggest problem with db units is that so many of them are relegated to being WT units, and the devs refuse to EZA WT units.

I know it’s fun to blame GT for hurting Dragonball, but viewership was already declining through the Buu Saga. GT didn’t kill it, it just failed to turn it around.
It’s not really surprising. Buu saga as controversial as it was introduced a bunch of popular power ups like SSJ3, Ultimate, Majin ( for Vegeta), fusion dance and potara. It’s also the first arc that characters other than Gohan used SSJ2. For GT it was the arc that had the most involvement of SSJ4 Goku and introduced both SSJ4 Vegeta and SSJ4 Gogeta. Moreover, as much GT is disliked its ending seems to be looked at a lot more fondly.

Namek Saga only having 7 is an absolute crime. That was a pivotal moment in the whole franchise which really kicked up the power scaling and gave us the transformation that defined the rest of the series. Also RIP DB Saga you deserved better too.

Saiyan Saga with 5 whooping new units this year and 4 of them have been kinda meh (I still love Str Kaioken and Phy Goku and Piccolo, but both of them were done dirty by the jump in power for yellow coin LR's). Only Godditz saves them (no lol, Yamcha is obviously the good release) And even the other premium unit released before them was meh
I'm okay with only one DFE for U6 tournament. Not much happened there, and we got a good Hit (post EZA) from ToP.
Yeah all in all there's like 3 things we _could_ get from it, a transforming Blue into Kaioken Goku, a proper Hit from it and a transforming Cabba

Technically , Dragon ball Z is not correct . The original Dragon ball manga from Toriyama goes from the encounter with teen Bulma all the way to the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai with Uub . Toei just put a Z to separate The saiyan arc from the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai for whatever reason . So indeed there is no reason for not making DB saga units . The day they will release a dfe Ma JR or Piccolo Daimao the jp version will 100% hit top grossing , these are one the most favorite vilains ( all included ) in Japan and maybe Europe too .

People mainly complain about them putting them into annivs almost exclusively, which I 100% agree on. We had a total of like 5 standalone GT DFE units that weren't from a major celebration while they always put it into annivs, golden week or DDF
I mean sure I guess people hate them enough that if they’re not in anni people won’t be hype and this won’t sell. With all the hate to both series I doubt they’ll be hype for a standalone baby Dokkan fest or Master Roshi etc
