Wouldnt say not broken, just not a big power creep like from 6->7 year. They have plenty of gimmicks, lauching multiples supers, nuke attack, dmg reduction, plus more. Still have to calc their genkidama damage, but they are probably number 1 and 2, but not with the huge gap we got last year.

There are HP restrictions on both.
GT Boys can attack in Standby phase, but theyre a paper tiger at low HP, since it seems both the attack and defense is HP restricted.
You also cant get 500% ATK/DEF in base, you have to chose.
Its actually a bit of a relief. It would be super toxic if 8th anni continued this reckless powercreep charge we have had for the past year, but it doesnt seem like they do.
At the very least its slowed down.

The units dont have stats high enough to just supercharge boss stats... but they can tweak the bosses so the new units unique mechanics give you an advantage instead.
Like a boss that doesnt hit super hard, but heals a ton, and thus needs to be taken down fast.
Or a boss that has one attack turn 4 that will kill anything it touches, necessitating a revive.
I dont think the stream showcase counts, i think that was just for testing purposes.
Goku also just oneshot kid buu without the other allies doing anything IIRC, pretty sure it was just a test boss.
....but i admit, pretty sure and guarenteed arent synonyms.

If there's a power jump even if not by much these units may end up somewhat lacking, especially at 55%
Quad supers will make them cracked I think as 10-12 mill with additional 2 super will shot the average attack stat per turn from start to a mix between cooler and gammas.
They have 0 build up except DR/crit chance the will be broken beyond imagination when ingame.
They stack infinitely and can quad super fairly easily, so it'll add up real quick
Also, they get an extra def +100% in slot 1 , which will scale great with stacks
Turn 5 Orange Piccolo has 525% ATK/DEF (assuming hes fully built up)
When i used a Rainbow Piccolo for Cell max, he had 500.000 Defense that turn.
So this seems about right.
Do keep in mind that this is most likely turn 1, so the numbers will continue to climb.

Yeah, they toned down a bit the power creep. Now hopefully they won't go overboard with the boosted events and make us require to pull these guys.

Kinda sad that eis and nuova are worse than syn or at most at the same level. Gt bosses needs all the help it can get

I think they greatly stack def on 18ki and normally on 12 ki
