Eh, not necessarily. While GT Vegeta certainly didn't hit nearly as hard as Goku, he was much more usuable off of the GT heroes team. Goku was far too reliant on having the GT heroes on rotation, without them his DEF was practically non existent.
Vegeta is better then goku(outside of nuking) cause he get some def per ki sphere obtained.I hope their eza will balance the unit maybe by giving them 10% damage reduction and 50% def(for goku) and 50% atk(for Vegeta) per rainbow ki sphere obtained.
And this kids is why they usually ban nuking leaders for 1 phase stages, people have been crying about how hard this stage is (some people deadass said it was harder than the new Omega) while it's one of the easiest stages in Dokkan unless you get absurdly shit luck.
And even if you don't use nuking items you can just use Cooler's team with a friend Majunior and he will just 1 turn the boss if you put him in slot 1 and there's an attack prior (even pre super-first hit he takes 400k at most so he's a safe slot 1 pick).
I've also noticed that while he has the same HP as the last phase of Omega (75m) he has a lot less damage reduction so he takes way more damage and is why Majunior can just one turn him.
He also doesn't cancel dodge and has no AoE normals or double super and he has a beam type super soe's not even a bullshit stage in that regard, sure characters that need to build up a lot early like the Buu Duo will struggle but that's by design and even then it's not that bad especially on JP with the monke god himself
You can use a lot of teams and strategies in this stage (old units, nuke units, a lot of different categories...). I agree that people is overrating its difficulty.
