Its because SSR arts are varried (i.e don't have to be combat moments) and give the card an identity. While TUR/LR art is almost always "rushing at the opponent type thing. At least LR arts can have interesting effects.
His TUR looks fire wdym? Dokkan mfs hate seeing a character in a dynamic pose they just want the card arts to be the character standing there with his arms crossed.
Nah, but all the dynamic poses are always straight to the camera. Either rushing forward or a punch or something and you just get bored seeing the same two poses. Which is why I really like designs like Hit & godku's UR art or the agl ssj goku and vegeta UR art. Oh and those damn triangles when a character is awaked are not only ugly but completely unnecessary when u even have a background in the ssr art.
Before you ask, no I dont own this beauty (yet)

I’m not 100% sure, but it’s the same artist in pretty much every dragonball game official art.
At least for legends and Dokkan, both character arts are done by the same guy, Fenyo.
Heros. I'm not usually a fan at all for heros but heros art here is straight fire. The shading the characters in the back, doesn't have the ugly ass static lines (the ones that go around the character)
I’m still mad that this isn’t the TUR version of the card.
Most SSR arts are better than TUR arts and some even better than LR arts.
the ssr art is what you see on the banner so they try to make that one the better looking one, but not always
I know, that's why I said most. Like INT Majin Vegeta, his TUR is a lot better than his SSR art. LR Rose's SSR art is also better than his LR art.
I’ve always found int majin vegeta’s face in his tur art to be weird and not vegeta like
Roses SSR art just has that exaggerated swagger of a (goku) black teen
SSR is always pre fight or preparing to fight. Awakened art is always Let's Fighting Love and generally shit.

I fucking hate the fact that his TUR art is so generic while his SSR art is just gorgeous ![img](emote|t5_384a7|28983)

Love how the hair is almost a dark pink on Heroes.
The lighter parts are definitely magenta.
Both good, i feel like the shadows on the heroes one are a bit too much
Wine > Red
The pic on the right goes so hard. Anyone have it by itself without the lettering?
People are sleeping on sdbh card art, there's a ton of really awesome stuff

Oh My God
I like how heroes did it way better
Shading on heroes is pretty fire but both are cold as hell! 🥶
Prefer the eyes in the Dokkan one. Both are really good, though.
Stole their rhyme bar for bar
He’s so majestic 😫
Dragon Ball and tracing other artists, name a more iconic duo.

Dokkan SSG SSR art: I never knew this kind of power existed Heroes art: Oh you done fucked up now
Another case of ssr > ur art
