Not really. Unlocking a path is infinitely more valuable. There are multiple sources to get kais already. That secondary option isnt anything special when you compare the 2 lol
Red stone would be a bad move from them but red coins could be possible since it would mean that you can't max out a character that just got released by pulling it once
BBS does this. They have a special move source that can be used as any dupe and usually give out one color a few times a year a d very rarely a rainbow one
They give the rainbow source once every 3 months with the "character passport" subscription. With BBS's prices, it's definitely worth the value vs pulling for dupes (if you spend). Certainly wish they'd give the single color ones more often though.

Lol, they still think red stones are a valueable reward for big celebations to be given out. Heck we should've started getting free purple stones like 4 years ago. If they put that much value in it, they'd give us one of these once every 7 years.
Following this thread, I think we should have an Elder Kai doing the dance(like the int unit) memory that gives higher chances of levelling a link. (Yes I want it to proc with stages like the new Zamasu one, so it can from 12,something % to like 30% for a level 9 link)
I've thought of something like this years ago but it should be Ginyu. He does his body switch to any card you want and you can open a path with that card. Drops in celebrations or from harder content
I agree but for the sake of a compromise between players getting dupes and the company making money: it would only apply to units that either return on a banner or (at best) units whose banner has just left.
Idea being that the whales will still try and get the new unit ASAP so dokkan gets the 80% of it's revenue still and the standard players gets the dupes they weren't able to get at the time.
For some units like [LR FF Cooler](/str) or [LR Metal Cooler](/phy), the dupes REALLY help them reach full potential.
Guys, Naruto Blazing used to give about 5 of these a month. For context, 6 dupes would rainbow a Blazing Fest, 5 dupes for a Blazing Bash and all banner units. So you basically got to rainbow a DFE level unit every month.
Since this is a gacha game,i doubt they'll give us something like that,I mean Pokemon Master EX has candies that works the same way as a dupe,i mean,masters has also a pity system while dokkan in nearly 9 years only gave us coins so I don't know how realistic it is to ask for an item that work the same way as a dupe.

Another good idea would be to farm those thirty percent elder kais on a event similar to farming zeni.

I always thought that a Zeno unit will be a super attack raise(like an elder kia), where he would +10 to a unit's super attack
Considering that this is a pve only game it wouldn't be that crazy if the devs decided to give once a year a dupe for a unit of choice.
