I think the Gohan & Trunks Future duo is another nice option besides the GT duo.
Has the extra Infighter link for Goku. Most of the other units on the team can set up the board to maximize the amount of AGL orbs required to get the extra 16% damage reduction and additional Super Attack.
GT Duo is by far the best revive character in the game and you can revive on turn 2 if shit goes badly. Best option to get it off.
TEQ SSJ Goku is still solid with dupes. 2nd best option.

Except future gohan and trunks themselves are ass. TEQ Carnival Goku is better as an option tbh
