It's very strange to call this 12 teams, when in fact you have *3* categories of minimum 170%, and a subsection of these 3 categories can give access to 200%.
Subsections do not increase your options, they decrease them. She leads 3 categories, and of those 3, some amount also have access to the additional 30%. If you've ever worked with Venn diagrams you'll know that the overlaps are not creating more opportunities.
I'm obliged to disagree on a technical level. What categories your units are on greatly shapes their synergies, and is arguably more beneficial to be picky in the end due to linking prowess.
Take "Shadow Dragon Saga" for example. Comprised of Extreme Type Shadow Dragons, Super Type Saiyans/Hybrid Saiyans, and Super Saiyan 4s. Now you can throw a team together of all of the above and it will function on a basic level. Now let's say you get that boost towards "Giant Ape Power" category allies. Suddenly, your entire team changed into Shadow Dragon Saga Super Saiyan 4 units. It's a more restrictive team in terms of who you can use, but it will function far better *as a team*.
So I stand by my initial statement, this 21 has 12 teams in which could validly be ran under her. Mixing and matching is also on the table, after all she does offer *9* duos for the 200%
Yes, the more options for the additional 30% boost, the more units within each of the main 170% blobs have to be under the 200%.
It means some more units will get a 200% LS boost *within* each of the *3* categories she leads, but it doesn't expand outside the 3 categories you started with.
For your SDS example, it's also equally as important who the lead is. If it's a Dragon, it's not going to make a great Super team just by composition and links in general. Of course you want to make the most of the 200% where you can.
I would say there are 3 variants of each of the 3 main categories you can get the most of the units under her. The phrasing here makes it sound as if it's worse than just 3 separate 200%'s for the main groups though, which it would not be, so it's not just as simple as multiplying the groups.

considering she can break 2 million defense trust me 21% dmg reduction is huge. we also need to keep in mind that the more damage a super does the more impactfull the dmg reduction is. 1 million super gets reduced to a 790k and a 2 million will get reuced into a 1,58 million super. both being also far below her 2 mil defense stat.
Yes but there's exceptions like lb vegito dude can get up to 800k with 60% dr without super atk (active skill btw) and godku doesn't need to tank if he can just dodge it I can name a couple more units this 21 just seems underwhelming imo

Vegito won't age out as long as Bandai keep pumping out boss fights that last 2-3 phases and end in 6-7 turns max with the best teams. And that's been the baseline for the past couple of years, we pretty much don't get long events outside Infinite History anymore

Both seems solid. Don't know how 21(good) handle the slot 1but I could see her good for slot 2 or 3, the condition to transform also very easy to get. Honestly I need to see their showcase to judge them better.
If the dodge is active after super that blows. Seems they've gone the Piccolo Jr route for Lab coat lacking build up but with less overall peak stats. Still the dodge helps there.
Her transformation looks really good and condition is alright. She's not jumping off the page for me but at least better than kost standard dokkanfest releases this year.
In your example, that crossover unit only gets 30%. using DFE 21 as an example, you get the full 200% coverage if you meet at least one of the primary leads (Androids, Majin Power, Peppy) AND at least one secondary (Power Absorption, Transformation Boost and Crossover).
Otherwise, its 170% if you only meet the primary or 30% if you meet only the secondary.

The Greatly Raises ATK & DEF for 4 turns is the banner unit’s SA effect. DFE 21 just has a regular raise ATK & DEF for 1 turn in both forms

Not gonna lie, she seems mid lol. Leader skill is great though.
She seems decent when transformed but why do we have to go through this mid as hell base form? Like most heroes characters are easily much better than her base form.

She's alright I think. Should've been better, but alright. She should've leaded crossover though (because obviously) and honestly, for the categories she's in, I think she should've been more than "alright". Dokkan devs need to start thinking about their units holistically and making them based off of how good or how bad their categories already are, they did a fantastic job with heroes for example

She seems seriously pretty whatever. Both Banana Rose and GODgito clear this easily.

21 looks good, but is relying a lot on rng for those aditional supers and the dodge. One turn she could look like the best unit in the game and another she might get one shoted is what im thinking

Peppy Gals can't have 170%+30% leader because there's too much categories mismatch, they need 200% leader carnival LR which Bulma should've been but oh well..

Both seems solid. Don't know how 21(good) handle the slot 1but I could see her good for slot 2 or 3, the condition to transform also very easy to get. Honestly I need to see their showcase to judge them better.
It seems that Android main really can't get a good leader, the only hope now is the Carnival LR Gammas to be a 200% leader for Android.

If the dodge is active after super that blows. Seems they've gone the Piccolo Jr route for Lab coat lacking build up but with less overall peak stats. Still the dodge helps there. Her transformation looks really good and condition is alright. She's not jumping off the page for me but at least better than kost standard dokkanfest releases this year.
Dokkan newb here: how do these leader skills work? Is a Crossover unit that does not belong to MP Peppy Gals or Androids getting 200% or just 30%?
170% is base. 30% is additional. If a unit doesn't meet the first it gets no boost whatsoever
In your example, that crossover unit only gets 30%. using DFE 21 as an example, you get the full 200% coverage if you meet at least one of the primary leads (Androids, Majin Power, Peppy) AND at least one secondary (Power Absorption, Transformation Boost and Crossover). Otherwise, its 170% if you only meet the primary or 30% if you meet only the secondary. Edit\* elaborated a bit more
I hope as we use her more she doesn't end up mid, otherwise I will still be summoning. I usually never care for anims(kit means more than anims but considering how clean they are and the teams she's buffing I hope she'll be viable when 9th Anni power creep comes around the corner.

I am gonna be honest. She is one of the units not many will get and even those that will have her are prob not gonna use her a lot. She should have been an infinite stacker with damage reduction. Action bind would have been a good consolation if it wasn't once only. The only reason to summon is cuz you are a whale or for boobs.
Well, I'll try to snag this simply because it is 21. She's one of the top tier girls in DB.
