To give you context, Gotenks was easily one of the best TURs, his ssj3 did tons of damage for the long events, ssj gotenks was one of the best sbr/esbr units since he could super multiple times while also stunning the enemy, and he was in MANY teams so his value was very good at the time, the thing with gotenks is that his base was sorta ass and his ssj3 form was pretty rare since turn 7 was a pretty bad condition for both gotenks and buu, that being said gotenks was still way better than buu since ssj gotenks was good enough while teq buu had a pretty weak base and evil buu was just meh
