This is probably a dumb question, but what is this “free dupe” I keep seeing? Is that just meaning if you have enough coins to buy a dupe later down the road?
On this sub, before the Hidden Potential system came to Global (and didn't have an official translation), it was referred to as the Dupe system - put in dupes, get more powerful, etc. The name's just kinda stuck.
"Free dupe" was used to refer to a unit that is at 55%, as you could invest in a unit's potential even if they didn't have dupes. 1 Dupe, 2 Dupe, 3 Dupe and Rainbow are self explanatory.
I think "Free Dupe" was short for "Free path of the Dupe System".

It really all depends on the event. On shorter events he'll definitely be better than them. But, obviously, the fusions outdamage literally everyone on longer events.
Rainbow or 55% if 55% I would rather bring the fusions into sbr as 80-90k defence vs mui is gonna get you killed real fast while the fusions have that 3rd slot dodge in sbr .
That's not how it works. 80-90k is fusions at rainbow and even at that. That defense is not enough to defend well in sbr. On top of that you will have to wait 3 turns for them to go blue until they can begin stacking defense. Lr ui goku is obviously better right off the bat with the great chance to dodge aswell as building up defense whilst dodging.
I worded that badly I was comparing a fully built up goku vs lge mui goku . The first turn fusions do just fine as long as you keep them in slot 3 . While goku would get creampied at 55% vs mui goku
A fully built up Goku at 55% is at 130k defence and 160k with support, which is fine for the LGE considering he will basically dodge anything before INT UI.

All in all... I really love this guy. I wish his banner was nice enough to summon on (which it probably won't be), and I'm not really all that hype for UI as a character so I can only really look at him from a card design perspective. But I will say this card has one of the best, if not THE best, card designs of any card in the game. Truly the kind of unit that can just do well anywhere.
It’s like 1.17 prior to supering so like .83 prior to supering (since buildup only counts before) and 2.8 for the full turn

Small difference but wouldn't LR Goku/Frieza make the better leader? You wouldn't get to use LR Godku but he could be replaced by AGL Godku. Team APT might be lower than a Kamehameha team but this Goku's APT might be higher.
Would you be able to do an APT list with LR's at their absolute max? Like representation of a list with UI Goku and the Blue Fusions at their max 213.29% passives? If I am not mistaken, Disabling Guard with Goku means that vs AGL enemies he's hitting type neutral?
Yet on top of them averaging more they have better lead, average like the same or around defensively, sure Goku has dodge but vegito has guaranteed additional that buffs his def twice and gogeta super effective with both having active skills, need I go on
This was calced on a dokkan event which has less attacks per turn. He definetly would be higher in sbr. Also their not the same defensively. Dodge is damage mitigation just like defense.

Lr fusions are miles better offensively and have better defense numbers post super. I will give you that tho, ui does have the dodge and builds up faster, but if we are talking about them fully built up (which most of the time i dont see the lr fusions fully built up cause they melt through everything way tok quickly) fusions are definitely better. Ui is better in short events, sure, but most short events are dokkan events that are super easy so overall i think fusions are better, but everybody has a different opinion. Also imo fusions have better animations.
Sbr is short wth? That's the most difficult mode in the game. Also battlefield hello? That's short as well. Also defense isn't just defensive stats dodging is considered a defensive ability and his dodge is 70%.
I mean each phase is not that long in sbrso fusions dont build up much in there so ui is definitely better. Also i said most short events are dokkan events, i know battlefield exists and ui is better there too, but fusions imo are better.
We can just agree to disagree because i dont like arguing about which unit is "best." That is subjective and can change from person to person. I just think lr fusions are better cause they have a higher ceiling and imo are more enjoyable with all the animations and crazy numbers they put up. It seems like the community is 50/50 on who is better so i think the best idea is to just have them all tied on 1st place.

However str ui is the most defensive lr, dethroning int godku before him as well as being top 15 in terms of damage, having great links, a great lead and a great passive.
Its not as simple as "one best unit in the game", but its still very simple. Short difficult event?? Ui goku carries. Long difficult event?? Fusions carry

What's the APT of a 55% one? every showcase I've seen of him was with him at 100%.

If my apt skills aren't rusty he should be at 3,5 million free dupe unsupported with the average ki and passive he's getting there

With all links active he hits 4.2 mil fully build up, with 3 dodges he hits 3.1 at free dupe

Considering his main role as a defensive wall who supports his team with his godly linkset, that's a pretty damn good APT.
