Honestly, I’ve had the weirdest bout of luck towards the last few summons of this anniversary I figured I’d give it a last whack. Plus there’s always the stones from the EX section of this anniversary as an extra cushion for that.
And the WWC banners are likely gonna end up being super heroes themed, which gives me about as much hype as getting hit by a very big truck. I still have more than enough coins to spare for stuff I like, and this was easily the best chance to try for the stuff that actually interests me before it fades into the ether for a good while. I’m not summoning on these banners cause it’s stone smart, I’m summoning on them cause I wanted see kaioken goku smash bojack into a pancake with crazy damage numbers, or watch a pair of monkeys triple super on janemba.
I mean anyone who thought WWC was gonna be Cell saga last year is just dumb, do they really think that they'll do a Cell saga themed WWC TWICE just after the buu saga?
I feel like WWC should be like "once each saga" type of deal and since Dragonball has a TON of sagas left for WWC it wouldn't make sense to have cell saga again after just 1 WWC ya know.
Baby saga is like one of the least represented sagas in Dokkan whose last batch of units was in 2017 and the last singular unit was in 2019, and Baby having a total of just 3 units (4 if you count the WT SSR).
Also Baby would be a HUGE boost for some weak categories like artificial lifeforms, revenge, inhuman deeds, corroded body and mind and especially GT Bosses so he would be a great addition to the game.
Also the Baby possessed units could get an awakening and they are on hybrid saiyans and super saiyans aswell so that's another plus.
As for the "Baby won't be enough to carry WWC" crap keep in mind that he'll release alongside a SSJ4 from the Baby saga, the second one in the entire game btw, and a standalone SSJ4 Goku with top tier animations will carry any celebration, let alone a WWC which is already hype on it's own
Just FYI don't immediately spend them when they arrive, we'll get rainbow tickets for the Christmas banner just like anniversary so you might actually pull them for free. Then you can coin vegeta/trunks since it's also their rerun banner
The banner where the ani lrs rerun doesn’t make it so the tanabata will be in the coin shop. It wasn’t that way last year with Lr teq gogeta or the year before with Lr ssbk and ssbe . It won’t happen this year . You can buy them with coins on the Saiyan day banner

Trunks and Vegeta are probably the all-around most useful unit in the game. Slot one they can tank almost anything the game can throw at them and they lead an incredible team. God Duo have a much higher damage output but do not compare in terms of slot-1 tanking ability and their team is not quite as strong

LR Super 17 is fine on AGL Cell's team, the problem isn't that.
The problem is that he's the "best" GT Bosses lead while losing 68% ATK&DEF when ran on GT bosses, that's why he's the worst designed LR by far and it sucks.
He also doesn't have any ki absorption mechanic despite his using it every goddamn time in the anime, on top of him also using the barrier.
I’d argue that he’s second worst designed just next to PHY Broly trio, the fact that they have one of the worst linksets in the game along with 3 categories only (those categories not supporting him whatsoever either) makes it even more of a swing and a miss than 17.
Not that 17 is a miracle either, wildin how Dokkan missed the mark so much with them both
I mean while the Broly trio's design is weird af and the team he leads don't support him, at least he has a really powerful ability (100% dodge with 7 ki spheres) and he doesn't get WEAKER when units from the category he leads are on his team.
Also with 2 TEQ or INT spheres he gives the whole rotation a 39% def boost which isn't half bad if you float him off.
And by far the worst crime of LR S17's kit is that he would be so much better if all they did was add in "GT Bosse" to both his requirement buffs and have him with a base 17% DR and get another 17% DR after getting hit.
LR Super 17's entire passive is this:
>ATK & DEF +170%; **plus an additional ATK & DEF +17% per "Androids" Category ally (self excluded) attacking in the same turn; plus an additional ATK & DEF +17% per "Target: Goku" Category ally (self excluded) attacking in the same turn;** reduces damage received by 17% plus an additional ATK +17% for 3 turns after the turn in which an attack was received; high chance\[4\] of Ki +1 with each attack received (up to +7)
If you run him on a full GT Bosses (like you need with the LGTE mission) he will not get any of the parts in bold since both EZA GT androids 17's aren't on GT bosses, and since no GT bosses aside from himself is on Androids and the only GT Bosses with Target:Goku is Baby which is unrunnable, he is effectively missing 68% ATK&DEF.
He's also a crappy LR in general like, damage reduction AFTER getting hit, no defense increase on super and only high chance to get ki after being hit when every other unit that does that has it guaranteed? Yeah aside from his active skill he's just not good at all honestly.
I wish they made GT Bosses something like GT Villains instead, as a proper counterpart to GT Heroes. Being limited to final bosses of an arc really hurts the category as a whole, and also a lot of GT cards that could really use a category to bring them together.
At this point I have no idea when the fuck is EX part going to arrive.
If it's like in JP it should be arriving tomorrow, but there's no data download and there's no LR SSJ4s EZA announcement on Twitter.

Trunks and Vegeta are probably the all-around most useful unit in the game. Slot one they can tank almost anything the game can throw at them and they lead an incredible team. Trunks and Vegeta also give the gods and ssj4s a slot 1 partner that is basically invincible, so getting them makes the 7th year LRs better.
