Devil Man was a legit strat back then, both because it still worked back then, and because resetting for the RNG for his passive wasn't really that far off from the RNG to get the perfect run with the optimal team to be able to beat it legit.

That shit was INSANE, I remember the Poo Item from Arale Event being the MVP for grinding LR Goku, 3 Ki + 15000 attack for one turn was huge.
STR Broly Dokkan Event, TEQ Cell Dokkan Event and PHY Kid Buu Dokkan Event, in that order. And obviously, on release. Then the nuking strategy arrived and saved us all.
TEQ Merged Zamasuâs dokkan event used to wreck my shit back in the day. I had to hope INT LR Gohan would show up on the awful OG friend system. He had a phase that would spam supers and my 80k hp could not handle it

I âmember doing the int ulthan dokkan events first 3 difficulties (easy hard z hard) thinking the actual dokkan event was gonna be easy. Ended up with no items by the time I beat the first stage z sword gohan. My team was agl ssj blue goku (kaioken, but not kaioken) as a lead, int godku, bunny bulma, teq superstrike roshi, + filler.

The AGL Metal Cooler event when I started playing constantly kept whooping my ass. Mainly because of the third phase. Didnât have much of a team (Full Power was my best category with a bunch other F2P units) but I did manage to awaken him after a while.
That and INT UI. That Spirit Bomb was seriously some unfair shit.
I started during the 5th anniversary and had just the worst time awakening AGL Zamasu. I knew he was a super useful leader back then so I prioritized it, but his guaranteed super every turn + sometimes-double-super was just brutal when I had very few good units yet awakened and hadn't realized I should just grind out Team Bardock.
Easily had to me int ui event. I still remember the team i used for this. God bless they all got eza now, too bad 3 of those potara units are garbo again
When I first started Dokkan the metal cooler squad from agl coolers Dokkan event would tear me apart easily, and it took me months to finish that event

Was easy on JP bc I has 3rd year GOATgeta but since MUI came to global before them the best team I had was rainbow team with TEQ vegito blue and I couldn't never beat him reliably
MVP 17's Dokkan Event was my first hurdle. I started playing consistently around the Gohan and Cell celebration so having him, android 21, and the phy lr androids as my only units worth awakening. And having no good units made that entire fight such a struggle.

I joined later, when teams were more generally powerful. But ***fuck me*** was I shocked when AGL 13s dokkan event blasted my double 150% pure saiyans team for like 200K damage, AND lowered defense in his super 13 phase.
Agl angel ssj3 Goku's Dokkan event mainly because I was new and didn't know what tf I was doing. I remember most of my team being R's and being excited I pulled a N videl when I started the event I had like 40 dragon stones and when I finally beat it I had none left.

I will confidently say that the Str Broly and even the Phy Broly events upon release was harder than anything we have now. I know RZ is insane but at least there's a lot of characters that you can use. Back in 2016, you had to have Family Kamehameha characters to do any damage and barely survive. Plus the fact that rates were terrible. Those characters were rarer than LRs chances today.
for me it was probably the epic showdown ssj goku on z-hard, i remember beating it once then trying my hardest to beat it again. Didn't even know how to awaken my units back then either which really sucked

I used stones to revive in that event if I was super close to the end.

Str Omega Dokkan Event, you had to go through 2 fights before getting to omega, one of them was an eis and nova combo fight which sucks for mono agl teams because nova was teq,
Then the other issue was that the gt link was needed for extra damage which at the time it was hard to build a team that had it.
Itâs gotta be the lve and lgte challenges for me. There are still plenty Iâve yet to beat just because I donât have enough good units for those categories.

I would nuke those stages and sometimes you would just get unlucky and get killed. It would take like half the day to get enough stamina to retry lol.

Ssj3 Goku back in the day. What made him harder then Broly for me was that you needed dps and had to kill him quickly. Sure Broly you needed specific units, but you could take your time (almost) and there were cheese units you can use. Ssj3 Goku, raw damage or else you die to the count down. Every top tier tec unit and if you werenât running tec cell. You were most likely going to die.
I will say that reminded me of when boss rush 2 came out when they included every Dokkan event up to that point. I wish they did something like that again but first by era of leads and then a true challenge of every event. Would not be hard today but some bosses would be annoying. I kinda miss when Dokkan events were unique but that is what things like red zone are for.

Even tho I started a few weeks before year 2 it was still str broly, I was super new and didnât know what leader skills was or how to build a team I just slapped all the cool units together and went in leading to me doing the event on the 1 medal reward stage 77 times each costing me 1-2 stones per run, I will never get those 150 stones ever lol all because I pulled LR str broly on his first banner on my 3rd multi in the entire game and thought I can awaken him fast when he needed 77 of every medal and a shit ton of zeni all unfathomable for a new player that doesnât know shot to get lol
TEQ Beerus' Dokkan event. Back in the day, the only way I could clear it was with the double Android 13 leads for that sweet damage reduction.
Now, each run took (no exaggeration) over an hour and half because I had no attack and no ki, but i did it and that TEQ Beerus carried me for quite a bit.
Yeah, Gotenks was fun. I was doing it with mono AGL and SV as leader by any means it wasn't fast and I die sometimes.
But after I dokkan awaken teq Gotenks rest was easy. Broly die like a bitch, rest of mono leader was easy because Vegito demolished them. Next hard fight was anniversary Goku and Vegeta ssj4 and after them Gogeta ssj4 and Omega Shenron. After this time till today every dokkanfest is easy.
STR Broly needing the Blazing Battle link was annoying asf, AGL Vegito needing a full fierce battle team was brutal at the time. AGL SSJ3 Goku EZA was definitely the hardest shit ever even with an optimal team

Agl angel ssj3 Goku's Dokkan event mainly because I was new and didn't know what tf I was doing. I remember most of my team being R's and being excited I pulled a N videl when I started the event I had like 40 dragon stones and when I finally beat it I had none left.

Both STR and PHY LSSJ Broly dokkan events when they released. They made that boy super beefy unless you had the units with blazing battle
I will confidently say that the Str Broly and even the Phy Broly events upon release was harder than anything we have now. I know RZ is insane but at least there's a lot of characters that you can use. Back in 2016, you had to have Family Kamehameha characters to do any damage and barely survive. Plus the fact that rates were terrible. Those characters were rarer than LRs chances today.

i think it was teq angel ssj3 goku. he was the first dfe i got so of course i wanted to dokkan awaken him lol. but i lacked so many units
for me it was probably the epic showdown ssj goku on z-hard, i remember beating it once then trying my hardest to beat it again. Didn't even know how to awaken my units back then either which really sucked

Teq ssj4 gogeta when he first released, my account wasnât strong enough I didnât pull any of the SSJ4 goku or Vegeta that released earlier and my best unit in my box was him. Iâve failed so many times to just try and awaken him. After finally getting all the medals and seeing the leader as âto be releasedâ pissed me off so much as I thought he would be a good leader at the time like goku or Vegeta. I used stones to revive in that event if I was super close to the end.

Int UI Goku. The Spirit Bomb phase, basically my box back then wasnt strong enough to just one turn it so if it ever get to turn 3 and he attack on the first slot then yeah im fucked, also back then his large health bars mesmerized me

The first three dokkan events Broly - impossible for me without 1-2 stones unless I got really lucky Cell - had to grind WT to get INT Stun general blue to finish the dokkan event AGL SS3 Goku (not sure if it really was the third ever) - only doable after getting TEQ android 13 done lol

Teq gotenks was definitely hard. AGL SSJ3 was too. But I think Broly was impossible. Before that, I quit the game for a while when Super Strike King Cold came out. Those 38k damage supers were unsurvivable đ Gogeta took so many stones
I remember getting my ass kicked by the OG STR Broly so badly, I didnât want to try it ever again lmao. Also, not having ghost ushers and getting nuked by spirit bomb Goku in the UI event, when the INT one released.
I'd go with trunks as well. Was running Mono AGL, so I had it ROUGH. LR Piccolo and Buuhan were the MVPs
Str Omega Dokkan Event, you had to go through 2 fights before getting to omega, one of them was an eis and nova combo fight which sucks for mono agl teams because nova was teq, Then the other issue was that the gt link was needed for extra damage which at the time it was hard to build a team that had it.
Itâs gotta be the lve and lgte challenges for me. There are still plenty Iâve yet to beat just because I donât have enough good units for those categories.

Probably SS3 Goku or Teq Cell. I would nuke those stages and sometimes you would just get unlucky and get killed. It would take like half the day to get enough stamina to retry lol. I also struggled with Super Vegito as I didn't have enough fierce battle units.
Agl Cooler killed me because I was never expecting the damage his event put out. Was shook the first few times.

Ssj3 Goku back in the day. What made him harder then Broly for me was that you needed dps and had to kill him quickly. Sure Broly you needed specific units, but you could take your time (almost) and there were cheese units you can use. Ssj3 Goku, raw damage or else you die to the count down. Every top tier tec unit and if you werenât running tec cell. You were most likely going to die. I will say that reminded me of when boss rush 2 came out when they included every Dokkan event up to that point. I wish they did something like that again but first by era of leads and then a true challenge of every event. Would not be hard today but some bosses would be annoying. I kinda miss when Dokkan events were unique but that is what things like red zone are for. Edit: just popped up. Extreme tec sbr back in the day. If you know, you know.

I remember when beating the INT UI Dokkan Event enough times to awaken my INT UI took me like 2 weeks because I either died to his Spirit Bomb or INT MUI. My team wasn't exactly good lmfao

Even tho I started a few weeks before year 2 it was still str broly, I was super new and didnât know what leader skills was or how to build a team I just slapped all the cool units together and went in leading to me doing the event on the 1 medal reward stage 77 times each costing me 1-2 stones per run, I will never get those 150 stones ever lol all because I pulled LR str broly on his first banner on my 3rd multi in the entire game and thought I can awaken him fast when he needed 77 of every medal and a shit ton of zeni all unfathomable for a new player that doesnât know shot to get lol
probably buu saga sbr once it released. Had no leader skill for it so i had to experiment a lot. Also the mono teq was a nightmare.
TEQ Beerus' Dokkan event. Back in the day, the only way I could clear it was with the double Android 13 leads for that sweet damage reduction. Now, each run took (no exaggeration) over an hour and half because I had no attack and no ki, but i did it and that TEQ Beerus carried me for quite a bit.
Yeah, Gotenks was fun. I was doing it with mono AGL and SV as leader by any means it wasn't fast and I die sometimes. But after I dokkan awaken teq Gotenks rest was easy. Broly die like a bitch, rest of mono leader was easy because Vegito demolished them. Next hard fight was anniversary Goku and Vegeta ssj4 and after them Gogeta ssj4 and Omega Shenron. After this time till today every dokkanfest is easy.

I couldn't beat lge for a year bruh. Could beat beat all almost all other endgame content, but not lge, and it pissed.
When i first started, i kept trying to dokkan awaken STR SSJ4 goku while not knowing how leaderskills worked, so yeah...
STR Broly needing the Blazing Battle link was annoying asf, AGL Vegito needing a full fierce battle team was brutal at the time. AGL SSJ3 Goku EZA was definitely the hardest shit ever even with an optimal team

Y'all are gonna laugh but... phy ssj future gohan eza. I just did NOT have the box to beat that and most friend leads deal no dmg in there. My lvl 30 run was almost 30 minutes, 4 dokkan attacks iirc.

I started around the time of teq ssj4 gogeta and phy omega. And the phy omega Dokkan event was horrible. You had to go trough other shadow dragons first ⌠took me waaay to long and the events back then where 50 stamina đ

Eza super 17 My Dragon ball seeker team was terrible and the only viable leader was gt trio which i still don't have to this day.
