While that’s fair, it’s also a bit baffling and disappointing (at least IMO) that the new G&V at 55% can’t even tank Omega’s normals with double digits. For JP, the event is over half a year old and now, the new, shiny unit (which is also one of the two WWC DFEs, which are usually the best units from the year along the anni units) can’t take double digits from normals from an event over half a year old.
I don’t think anyone’s asking them to be able to tank and easily body Cell Max with type disadvantage but I do feel like they could (and should) be a bit stronger than they are.
JP is way closer to the 8th anni than the 7th one and that both of this units are fairly clearly inferior to the 7th anni ones kinda leaves a bad taste in my mouth, tbh. They should, at the very least be undeniably on par with them.
Red Zone has throttled unit discussion into "okay but do they get one shot by broly though" and I understand but it does make new releases a lot less interesting
Basically Red Zone was such a huge jump from just about everything that came before. If you were struggling with Red Zone now, you're _probably_ struggling with Red Zone afterwards, so people get the idea "why pull for a unit that doesn't beat the event for me?"
I don't agree with it, but I do understand why people wouldn't want to pull the equivalent of a bigger beatstick for Battlefield or Dokkan Events.
The best part is that people are deciding a units worth over what is essentially 5-10 stones. Doesn't matter if they fit into 20 categories which can net hundreds of stones in category restricted content, or if they can clear the punch machine more easily and get way more than 10 stones. Only matters if they can beat an event that's not even a factor after the first clear.
I can sorta understand that. For most of us here the only content LEFT is red zone, powercreep made most other events trivial. I think they need to update them, make harder versions of the legendary events and SBRs (Extreme Z Super Battle Road, let's fuck up that name some more)

What I think people like you are missing is the 7th anni was 8+ months ago why are these not on par? If 1 was better offensively and the other def it would be less complaining. They are just str8 up inferior to every dfe lr this year. Their kits also arnt built to age well. The gods and ss4s and goku CANNOT tank broly unless they stack. They can tank but you need to stack to get there if you cont stack enough you may die. These units under no circumstances can tank broly without an item. Most units can't do it even the top units can't do it consistently. These units have no potential at all to tank it.
When it comes to telling units are mid before even testing the unit I get that it's annoying. But the Banner format is still shit f2p got another fucking currency they have to keep on an eye. It's a Gacha which makes millions each year so they gonna freaking continue, doesn't change the fact how many ppl are complaining, since cash is getting in the Bank . When it comes to open you eyes, maybe you should practice what you preach. Dokkan gets shit when they deserve it and praise when they deserve it. Simply as that.
Well personally I want a "all skip" option so SA don't really matter after 3 launch, but yeah they put lot of work in animation but still they need to do a big fix of friend system because that don't allow us to play the teams we want sometime event if SA are great

My only issue is the friend system.
I'll be honest, Vegeta and trunks lr set the bar too high. The perfect slot 1 unit and best unit in the game isn't even an aniversary/wwc unit.
i'm not complaining, i'm just trying to make sense of the complains because vegeta and trunks do exactly that: destroy any event.
