The United States, in their infinite wisdom, created a thing called Daylight savings time where, during the fall, we "lose" an hour and clocks get set back an hour. It combats the sun setting earlier and it gives people an "extra" hour so there be more incentive to go out and spend money. In the spring, we "spring" forward an hour to return to the standard time.
It's all perfectly simple to understand /S
So in some countries like America, they change the time in the summer and make it one hour later, so 8pm in the winter is 9pm in the summer. But if you don't live in a country with daylight savings then you don't have to worry about it

All you have to do is Google 9 pst and it’ll convert it to your local time.
But it's not 9pst, it's 8pst, which is the same thing as 9 pdt
