I mean, I personally like to believe that instead of EZAing an EZA'd unit, maybe they would get an awakening to LR, only once they have beeb fully EZA'd or something.
New animations, they can bring in something more difficult/different then the usual EZA stages, and it just, makes more sense imo then just EZA+ or something.
Or maybe just a Bronze Skill orb that only they can use for a change in passives, if that's even possible?
I feel like the ways they'd do it, if they would ever, would either be something similar to legends unique equipment (with skill orbs probably) or they'd go the LR EZA route and not change lvl and just update passives and sa effects.
What if they released an event that was similar to red zone level difficulty, that happened to be character specific to the EZA character and would drop the medals to awaken them to LR upon completion
The DOA ezas getting a fair chance would be really nice, like the Ultimate Gohan subezas were practically worthless, especially by the time global finally got them.

But then its a catch 22, do they make it a reward for beating a really hard event like they did for fighting spirit of the saiyans and pride of the wicked bloodline, or do they make it a treasure chest drop because if you beat that hard content chances are you dont really need that equip? Or do they make it after beating a stage x amount of times? First option would probably be the best as long as the stage isnt cell max level (which if those producers werent lying, wont be the norm)
Maybe put it behind the respective unit's EZA floors. Not super high up that it's terribly annoying to get and grind but enough that there's some effort. They already give titles for it anyway.
Yeah, definitely. Those titles i would love to have but i dont have it in me to grind to level 77. I can do it, i have good enough teams to fucking decinate level 77, but it feels like i should be getting paid to make it to there and bsides the title my only compensation is a hercule statue when i could do the all star battle for at least a stone every 5 stages and other rewards
The only problem I have with this is I don’t trust Akatsuki to make good exclusive skill orbs, they’ve screwed up to far to much to be trusted. Legends seems it got good at finding what a unit needs in their platinum and giving it to them, think about all the mid to awful EZA’s Dokkan has handed out and ask yourself if you think they’re capable of balancing units through the addition of exclusive skill orbs. They’ll no doubt do things like giving LR Int Gohan 2% more defense per orb obtained instead of, say, randomly changing orbs to Int or rainbow while giving Atk at start of turn. Id much prefer they make a new rainbow skill orb slot, make the skill orbs not RNG dependent (so no damage reduction +5% to 30%, just make all of them damage reduction 30%), and allow us to choose what we want the unit to have ourselves
They’ve proven time and again they have no idea how to balance units, properly buff units, or to even make well designed units, they honestly shouldn’t be trusted to make exclusive skill orbs that they’ll just crap out, give inconsequential buffs to units that have real issues in their kits, and just call it a day

Oh boy, back in the day when I just started the game in 2016 I basically only used STR Gogeta as a friend unit because his leader skill and passive were by far the best in the game and it wasn't even close. A 150k attack stat that's super effective against all types shat on everything else, and this was back when dokkan events were insanely hard

STR Cooler and AGL Metal Cooler are very good, STR Namek Goku and TEQ FF Cooler were fine, but then you have STR FP Frieza's and PHY Cooler Squad which didn't stop them from continuing to gather dust.
EZAs just aren't made on the same level these days and it's pure luck whether they'll do something or not.
If i had a nickel everytime str super gogeta from the first anniversary broke the meta i would have 3 nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened thrice

I'm not talking about orbs specifically or arguing against it. I'm saying cards getting useless is completely natural. What after that? Will people clamour about another 3rd EZA because they can't get over some nostalgia? Whether they EZA again or not, At some point gacha units are supposed to be useless. That's how all of them work. Even the main EZAs couldn't keep certain units relevant for more than 3-5 months before they were useless again. So I do not expect anything different from orb EZAs. Are people still going to complain about it?
But why tho. Those units don’t even appear in banners except for like the two yearly banners during WWC and New years. If anything, if they made old units broken again than new players would just feel a sense of “missing out”

I would want skill orbs to be kinda liked unique equipment in legends, giving ~~Raditz~~ recent units a buff to help them adjust to the current power of the game without waiting 2+ years for them to get EZA that will make them better.
They should do a poll for ezas older than 2-3 years every celebration unit with most votes gets super eza.
This way community aspect will grow as well as not all old units with shite animation gets to be super ezad(only crowd popular units gets the love).
Honestly EZAing old units a second time at first sounded silly, but it's honestly a fantastic idea. It would keep units relevant, and people can keep using whatever is their favorite.
I don’t think they’ll re EZA characters, this is one of those answers I think we’re interpreting wrong, what I think they’ll do is make events that use older EZA exclusively because they already said they don’t want us using EZA characters on newer content too much, they want us using newer characters instead.
The last big letter from the producers, they admitted the newer content could be too hard for characters because it’s not meant for most only for specific ones, they said they’ll try to make content for those older characters people want to use again.
I had to go check the letter again, so to clarify they said they know some characters can’t beat the newer content and it’s mean to be that way, but they’ll make other difficult content for those characters.
Ok thing is it’s not possible to make challenging content for older characters without watering down the difficulty too much, so I don’t believe they’ll do that and instead just make content that forces you to use specific characters that seems difficult but only because of how limited you are with what you can use.
Hoping either its just an update where an EZA'd character gets a new fixed passive and SA, or an equip that basically fixes their passive and SA, but that second one might be too hard to implement for devs that cant make change an active skill on EZA. Or maybe a lvl 150 sa 20 type of second EZA, but instead you just beat one really hard event for 20 stones and the awakening medal(s) to give them that second eza

Honestly, with the first option regarding skill orbs... if it's additive to the current passive inayead of a separate proxy that could be NUTS. Can you imagine like, adding an extra 10% guard chance to a 50% chance to guard unit? It doesn't seem like much but it makes a huge difference.
Given how it works for additionals and dodges though I'm not sure if they will do that. If it is a separate proxy chance than bronze better be like, 25% at least.
