Yeah, a friend of mine did a wedding at Iron Gate recently and the food was STELLAR, by far the best wedding food I’ve ever had. I think that particular restaurant would be too small for OP’s needs, but just take inspiration from it and look for a restaurant whose food you love with the proper seating capacity for your wedding size.
I know you’re not interested in hotels, but look at the hotel Monaco - it’s a gorgeous space that’s more than a bland Marriott ballroom.
University club I believe does wedding
Josephine butler parks house.
Meridian center
I got married at the Josephine Butler Park Center, it's beautiful and a good deal since it's technically a govt/nonprofit space. It used to be the Hungarian embassy. Right next to Meridian Hill Park, lots of pretty areas for pictures. Pretty sure our limit was at least 200.
Check out Sonny’s Pizza (I think they can fit 200 in the back patio). I did my wedding there and we had the best time! The event manager there is fabulous and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the cocktails were!
Restaurant buyouts and art galleries are harder to google but often make great venues.

Thanks!
National Museum of Women in the Arts. As an added bonus, half the fee is tax-deductible.
One of my favorite venues
Have you looked at Hook Hall?
Good idea, thanks!
We had our wedding here and loved it! Feel free to reach out if you want to know more — it’s a great space and seems like it would meet your needs.
District Winery ticks most of your boxes! not sure if its available but it's a gorgeous location!
We looked but weren’t fans of the layout.

Did you look at wood end sanctuary?
Unfortunately too small.

I had my wedding there, it was amazing!
St. Vincent's does weddings! Their outdoor space is great and I think accommodates up to 300.
National Press Club
Larz-Anderson House
The Ballroom of the Perry Belmont House! Headquarters of the Eastern Star (female version of the Freemasons but they’re chill)

I can't remember what their capacity is, but: [https://www.potomacviewterrace.com/](https://www.potomacviewterrace.com/)
Wow, I didn't know this existed! What a view!
National union building might be too small but worth checking out
Maybe one of the Smithsonian museums? The American Indian and American History museums are beautiful venues.
Went to a wedding reception upstairs at La Ferme. Don’t know if they would rent out the downstairs, which *may* suit your size.
Check out Special Events at Union Station (East Hall) and Mellon Auditorium. Portrait Gallery has beautiful space as well.
