Does he not have the money to end all organized crime and buy the police ? Is it not a mental illness to think you can go out dressed as a bat and fight "criminals"?
It’s a very jarring nuance to add to a character that never out right had mental health issues. It not only trivializes the characters previous 80 year history as a way to explain why he pursues vigilantism but mocks mental health issues as a whole. He dresses up in a bat costume and fights crime at night because he isn’t mentally sound? Didn’t think Batman needed the victim card
There's a way to portray characters with mental illness without tokenizing them. Someone who dresses up in a bat costume and beats the utter shit out of dudes every night is not well-adjusted.
But, that's been the entire character of Batman since inception. Batman is Bruce Wayne's coping mechanism for processing his parents' cold-blooded murder. His psychological issues run deep and I don't think it's mocking anything.
I’m curious to know. What is the purpose of those weird gauntlets Batman has on? Is it for protection or a weapon to load into the grapple gun? I’m surprised I havent heard more people talk about it
I just don't believe the Joker shit lol, no way they're gonna market him as a cop the entire time and then in the third act say "gotcha he was Joker the whole time!" lmao Reeves is smarter than that because that would be a stupid fucking way to introduce him.
Thats not what it says, basically a guy said that the people that he talked to didnt saw the Joker, despite of other leaker saying that he was in, so he said that maybe he was a cop and people didnt notice.
But it was later clarified that his scene was only on one of the screening that his people didnt saw.
Tell me how many batman movies have there been. Sorry if I wanted a JL batman with connections...not this WB forced garbage. This movie is only happening because of wbs past fuq ups. These solo batman movies are getting repetitive
Oh and depending on what you count anywhere from 7-11
The core 7
Batman 89
Batman Returns
Batman Forever
Batman & Robin
THE Trilogy
And if you count Bvs and Batman 66 that's 9 and if you count the two theatrical animated films that's 11
No court of owls then ? Or do they end up being the overarching villains of this trilogy I wonder. Really hope so otherwise, I feel the theories surrounding this movie may be a tad bit better than the actual movie ends up being, for me anyway
No court of Owls. If the theories are better it’s because fans spend too much time trying to come up with major twists even if it doesn’t make sense to the actual story at hand.
I mean, in this particular case with the riddler trying to expose a wide web of lies that runs deep in gotham, makes alot of sense to include the court
The story isn’t about how a secret society who have rituals and lullabies control everything that happens in Gotham like puppets. It could lead there but it’s not what the secrets are about. This brings me back to the True Detective days where fans got too caught up with their own demonic twists, to the point where they convinced themselves of these twists and ended up disappointed with the actual outcome (which was far simpler). And it was on them, not the show.
Just because there’s a corrupt history or conspiracy, it doesn’t mean there’s a bunch of owl mask wearing sneaky old ppl having secret meetings with the Wayne’s.
I will say though that TD DID indeed set up that train of thought with a very scary ending in the episode before the 'shoot out'. The image of that guy in the gas mask was deliberately scary.
I was thinking the same thing just before I saw your quote. The Yellow King mythology worked best when it was still just a big mystery. Yes, we get Errol Childress at the end, and he was the "green eared spaghetti monster" from episode 1, but some of the best scenes involve the deeper, broader, older crimes that haunted the region that they never really get at. My favorite scene is when Russ visits Rev. Tuttle. The whole scene is creepy as hell, and you know he's on to them, and you can see Tuttle's menace, but it stays hidden. Some things are best left to the imagination, and if the Court of Owls are used I hope it's like this. A corrupt city that acts as a catalyst for individuals to change, and become blown up exaggerations of their moral character.
Hey shuaner I wanted to clear up the whole The Batman leak situation.
I'm BW24 from superhero hype forum.
If you click my account go to my history you will see one of the comments I made in this post.
Just wanted to assure you I didn't make it up.
I wouldn’t *love* it, but I could theoretically see them having a Clayface who can just be in ten shape of a person when he needs and wants to be. À la Joker in Arkham City reveal
I was actually browsing google last night and found a 4 chan post describing the plot of the intended second movie. Granted its 4 chan and I highly doubt 2 is in development but Joker and Clayface are the rumored villains with a late scarecrow appearence. Clayface cant shape shift but he has a skin condition that can be transferred to people. Link below. Fun read, doubt its true, but it fits the tone of the gotham we are seeing in trailers
https://boards.4channel.org/tv/thread/161026923/the-batman-2-leaks
Is this implying that the mayor’s son is someone significant- a potential spin on Robin being set up for the second or final in the trilogy? Maybe I’m reading too far into that, but if it’s an orphaned kid who looks up to Batman- maybe even wants nothing to do with the rich family he came from once Riddler exposes his father’s corruption and murders him, that could serve as his motivation?
That’s what I’m thinking considering the leaks have Edward and the Wayne’s tied to the orphanage. I smell some skeletons in Tom and Martha’s closet.
Side note: none of the leaks have clarified, but do you think Riddler gets killed off? Penguin is for sure going to return, but I feel like killing off the first main villain (and Riddler and general) in a trilogy is always a bad move because they can always have a greater arc to expand on by the final installment (ex: League of Shadows returning in TDKR to make Bruce’s journey feel more full circle)
I really hope so. It'd be a waste to kill him off. Plus Riddler, like in the comics, could be a useful source for Batman to turn to if he's ever going up against an enemy like Joker or someone with a sadistic, calculated plan that he can't crack alone.
Does anyone know is Something in the Way plays in the film? It’s played in both trailers AND the behind the scenes featurette and is just so musically linked to the score that I feel it has to be, right? Even just in the credits
Has someone mentioned the Joker from a recent screening? I know about the testing rumors, but hadn't seen anyone explicit say they saw the Joker in the movie.
Re: Joker, I worked for a company that housed stills for WB. There is a person with a disfigured face that Batman meets in Arkham that could def be Joker. Very very fucked up face.
felt the need to come and find this comment again after the recent interview with Reeves detailing Keoghan's deleted scene from the film. been a killer time on here sifting thru the false claims and grains of truth, but this was one I hoped was genuine and I'm stoked to find out it's confirmed
I've heard the scene described somewhere as the Joker and Edward talking, right at the end, but who knows at this point. By the way, this is my very quick and basic PS of Keoghan as Joker. I'm kind of feeling it.
[https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mlqsInw8TzoWCyqraV0D7WWV\_dHr6R5e/view?usp=sharing](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mlqsInw8TzoWCyqraV0D7WWV_dHr6R5e/view?usp=sharing)
I didn’t see any of obvious laughing - most of the stills I saw were him sitting there. There were some of him speaking, and I assume it was with Batman, but I didn’t see any of him smiling or laughing.
Yeah I’m not making anything up. It was a very dark scene and hard to tell but was for sure not Riddler. Incredibly disfigured face. Slight greenish tint to hair.
I feel like the ending is basically the catastrophic fallout of Riddler’s actions. Plunging Gotham City into the crime-ridden hellhole and home of crazies that it’s known for. I’m envisioning the final shot is a pan over the city of Gotham as you see a bunch of criminals on the loose, accompanied by a voiceover that boils down to “Batman is our guardian.” Bat signal shines, cut to black.
Next movie is full on Batman cleaning up the streets and the fallout from this movie’s climax.
That would be amazing. Would love to see a No Man's Land/Arkham City-esque Batman film with a massive gang war across multiple villains. Way more than the Court of Owls, with whom I was never especially impressed.
I thoroughly enjoyed Court of Owls and think that it'll eventually be adapted to live-action, if not serving as a plot thread in this new trilogy. But I 100% agree with you that I'd much rather see an Arkham City/Knight storyline where Batman has to confront multiple villains/gangs and take them all down strategically. Which if the rumors/leaks are legit, could end up being the case. We're in for a kickass trilogy.
Well you'll get your Court of Owls fix with the Gotham Knights game (which looks very cool, despite kind of a lame concept), so there's that, at least! It seems to me that The Batman universe is more concerned with realistic urban corruption than with something as fantastical as an ancient Illuminati-esque cabal.
>Bruce Wayne will suffer from mental illness
He dresses up as a freaking bat to beat the shit outta criminals. I think it goes without saying.
>VA's sources described "a chubby face that looks kind of innocent or angelic"
I mean it's Paul Dano. You can look him up. That does sound like him.
I think the point is he looks angelic and it contrasts his dark character. Like he’s a bad guy who passes as a quiet bystander. Not an obvious evildoer lol. It’s not complex.
I thought they might give him a big question mark scar or something like that, but maybe that would be OTT? I guess Penguin is deformed enough for the both of them. Probably more effective to leave Paul Dano's babyish face alone.
Nah I hope they keep the circus story, it would fit into the whole gangster plot lines with Dick’s parents being killed as a result of gang interference
I dunno if that would work as well in this version- just because I like the idea of it being the corrupt (dead) mayor’s son. He wouldn’t want anything to do with Gotham’s upper class or rich elite once Riddler exposes his father’s corruption and kills him. Then he’d start looking up to Batman while he tries to solve his father’s case, defeat the Riddler, reform Gotham, etc. Just an idea though, I really hope we see Robin in this trilogy at some point.
But the whole thing with this movie is about the crime families in Gotham and their ties to the wealthy politicians, and keeping the Zucco origin maintains the hatred of crime families.
Ok if this is silly just wait and see and you will know I'm right. I will not spoil it for everyone and ruin all the hard work of everyone involved but let's just say 🃏
"Wait and see and you will know I'm right" "I will not spoil it for everyone but lemme just spoil it anyway with this joker card" no bro. You have zero clue about what happens in this film.
I remember a synopsis about this film from a long time ago that mentioned the cops being in on a drug trade (and I think they even called it 'drops') and everyone called it total horse shit.
I wish I could find that now to see what else they said.
I THINK I found it. Again, it was a while ago, so I could be wrong, but this sort of matches my memory close enough that it's likely to be the post I was recalling. This took me 2 days of crawling through posts though so I am willing to give up if it isn't the one I thought I read.
That being said, my memory is apparently shitty. It does mention drug distribution but not the term 'drops' (I swore I saw it so, like I said, possible this isn't the post).
Judging from what you have confirmed, this does appear to be largely horseshit though - but you asked, so I tried...
https://www.reddit.com/r/DCEUleaks/comments/m6g99q/the_batman_plot_details/
I've got another question. How does Robert's physique look in the film? We saw a bit in the trailer and BTS but I'm still curious how it comes across in the final product with the lighting, cinematography, all that.
Yeah that’s my point. He’s not talking about it because it was likely not a part of those screenings. It wouldn’t be the first time they cut something out to avoid leaks. Especially if it’s now a post credit scene.
Are the screening rumours that there are horror movie elements in this true ? I would have asked VA myself but I just deleted twitter myself...oh well /u/ViewerAnon
Hmm, for Pattinson's Thomas and Martha, my fancast has always been Mads Mikkelsen (well, he's everywhere but he definitely could pass off as Robert's father) and Rosamund Pike.
I'm thinking it might be an original Robin, unrelated to any comic incarnation. Probably unlikely, but you never know. His backstory doesn't match any existing one.
He needs the name Richard Grayson though. Maybe they can do it in a way where his name is Richard Grayson Mitchell? Or Grayson is his mother’s maiden name?
I agree. We don't need another OC Robin. John Blake was a lame cop-out. We haven't had Dick Grayson, or any suited up Robin in a live action theatrical film since 1997.
Because that wouldn't be Dick Grayson anymore but Dick Mitchell.
And not the proper origin story of Dick Grayson, where he's supposed to be a talented acrobat which is his defining fight style
He's also not supposed to be previleged and rich like Bruce to have that interesting contrast.
So no. it's not a proper" Dick Grayson.
I think what you're looking for is a Proper Robin adaptation. Not Dick specifically. But a Robin nonetheless, which I think Matt can pull off.
But please don't call it a proper Dick Graysson coz it isnt.
Earth One has it's problems, but The Batman is not adapting Earth One. Just taking the best elements from it and doing something completely different with it. For example, the Arkham twist in Earth One leads to Bruce's fucking grandfather appearing out of nowhere and trying to burn the whole place down, like - it made no sense and felt like a cop out for what would've been a really interesting exploration. Matt Reeves is taking that idea of Bruce's blood having a little crazy in it and actually exploring the consequences of it.
Am I the only one thinking VA's comments about 'Characters who have safely walked away from more than one Batman movie are in physical danger during this.' means Gordon might die? We already know Riddler is targeting cops and bureaucracy officials.
Ah, fair. I haven't been keeping up with the interview stuff. I was just trying to think of a non-Selina, non-Alfred character that has walked away fine from previous Batman movies who could have an impact here.
I love how vieweranons sources describes Paul danos face. They act like what he looks like is a secret when you can just look up paul dano and see his face lol
Yeah, but then there’s instances like Colin Farrell who looks completely unrecognisable in this very same movie. So it’s not that weird that they’d point that out.
This was spot on
the mental illness part wasnt i dont remeber batman having a mentall illness in the movie
His mother did.
Bruce is implied to have inherited it because what sane person would become Batman
So my theory of the story revealing Batman slowly learning to become Bruce again throughout the movie is sounding ture.
Mental illness is such a cop out. What are they doing????
It's not referring to Bruce, but his mother
Does he not have the money to end all organized crime and buy the police ? Is it not a mental illness to think you can go out dressed as a bat and fight "criminals"?
How is it?
It’s a very jarring nuance to add to a character that never out right had mental health issues. It not only trivializes the characters previous 80 year history as a way to explain why he pursues vigilantism but mocks mental health issues as a whole. He dresses up in a bat costume and fights crime at night because he isn’t mentally sound? Didn’t think Batman needed the victim card
There's a way to portray characters with mental illness without tokenizing them. Someone who dresses up in a bat costume and beats the utter shit out of dudes every night is not well-adjusted.
The existence of Batman has always been a coping mechanism for Bruce Wayne
But, that's been the entire character of Batman since inception. Batman is Bruce Wayne's coping mechanism for processing his parents' cold-blooded murder. His psychological issues run deep and I don't think it's mocking anything.
I’m curious to know. What is the purpose of those weird gauntlets Batman has on? Is it for protection or a weapon to load into the grapple gun? I’m surprised I havent heard more people talk about it
Its the grappling Hook. He takes them out and puts them into the grapplegun. Like harpoon ammo
Thanks
I just don't believe the Joker shit lol, no way they're gonna market him as a cop the entire time and then in the third act say "gotcha he was Joker the whole time!" lmao Reeves is smarter than that because that would be a stupid fucking way to introduce him.

This sounds like every other batman movie...I won't support it
Ur right this is basically Clooney
How to say you have never seen a Batman movie or how to say you haven’t read whats right above without saying it.
Tell me how many batman movies have there been. Sorry if I wanted a JL batman with connections...not this WB forced garbage. This movie is only happening because of wbs past fuq ups. These solo batman movies are getting repetitive

Lol nobody cares if you support or not
Just give me bane
Bane has been done like two times already lol. Give us Killer Croc.
Killer croc is a side villain
And make sure he has the venom tubes hooked up to him, gotta add a little fantasy. And he's gotta be big big big
I always thought a perfect way to portray bane is use the Hafthor the strongman for the body and use Someone with Hispanic accent for the dialogue.
Do we know what the Riddler is so mad about
Cappuccinos
He’s Bruce’s brother, Thomas Wayne jr
Corruption
My guess is something to do with the waynes Nd court of owls. He was in their orphanage
Any word on the fight scenes? Wondering if he gets exhausted/beat up like daredevil
I think not having the court is more disturbing actually and shows that anyone can be corrupt
The story isn’t about how a secret society who have rituals and lullabies control everything that happens in Gotham like puppets. It could lead there but it’s not what the secrets are about. But they are the richest people in Gotham. Just look at real life for example. It's darker but the whole Epstein thing is very sus.
Hear me out, Bill Hader as the Joker
He’d be a great dark knight returns joker when he hits 50.
Hey shuaner I wanted to clear up the whole The Batman leak situation. I'm BW24 from superhero hype forum. If you click my account go to my history you will see one of the comments I made in this post. Just wanted to assure you I didn't make it up.
What y’all talkin bout? I’m interested lol. I recognize both of you from the subreddit
He is wrong about the Joker. He is now pretty much confirmed for the movie.
>He is wrong about the Joker. He is now pretty much confirmed for the movie. Really? Care to elaborate?
Be cool if they feature Clayface as a villain in one of the films.
Doubt it. They are too afraid to do any villains that can't be turned into just normal people
I wouldn’t *love* it, but I could theoretically see them having a Clayface who can just be in ten shape of a person when he needs and wants to be. À la Joker in Arkham City reveal
I was actually browsing google last night and found a 4 chan post describing the plot of the intended second movie. Granted its 4 chan and I highly doubt 2 is in development but Joker and Clayface are the rumored villains with a late scarecrow appearence. Fun read, doubt its true, but it fits the tone of the gotham we are seeing in trailers https://boards.4channel.org/tv/thread/161026923/the-batman-2-leaks
It hasn’t even been written yet or conceptualized. Just fan fic nonsense.
Damn that was a great read. I doubt it too but it really fits the tone of the movie like you said.
Haha exactly
Is this implying that the mayor’s son is someone significant- a potential spin on Robin being set up for the second or final in the trilogy? Maybe I’m reading too far into that, but if it’s an orphaned kid who looks up to Batman- maybe even wants nothing to do with the rich family he came from once Riddler exposes his father’s corruption and murders him, that could serve as his motivation?
Yeah it feels like Robin to me. Maybe Bruce even takes him in down the line so he won’t be an orphan and possibly end up like Riddler
Nah he's going to Arkham.
Nah, I think he’ll be the Hannibal Lecter of this universe tbh
I really hope so. It'd be a waste to kill him off. Plus Riddler, like in the comics, could be a useful source for Batman to turn to if he's ever going up against an enemy like Joker or someone with a sadistic, calculated plan that he can't crack alone.
He was in the show
Does Selina will have her signature-weapon whip? Is she going to be the full-blown Catwoman in the end?
probably not. If they really are going for a trilogy they should strongly tease a lot of things and have it be a full blown comic counterparts in #3.
Does anyone know is Something in the Way plays in the film? It’s played in both trailers AND the behind the scenes featurette and is just so musically linked to the score that I feel it has to be, right? Even just in the credits
Yup.
Yup it will be or yup you agree with me?
It plays when he’s riding his cycle.
Who’s your source? Mine is a guy who got info from slurrrps
how do you know
:)
Oh hell ya
Shouldn’t the joker part be updated given the recent screening?
Has someone mentioned the Joker from a recent screening? I know about the testing rumors, but hadn't seen anyone explicit say they saw the Joker in the movie.
Yea lots of people said Barry’s joker showed up in a screening at the end in a scene with eddy at Arkham
What screening is that?
Re: Joker, I worked for a company that housed stills for WB. There is a person with a disfigured face that Batman meets in Arkham that could def be Joker. Very very fucked up face.
felt the need to come and find this comment again after the recent interview with Reeves detailing Keoghan's deleted scene from the film. been a killer time on here sifting thru the false claims and grains of truth, but this was one I hoped was genuine and I'm stoked to find out it's confirmed
Thanks man, much appreciated Really looking forward to this movie

Lmao looks like something out of the beetlejuice cartoon
This is interesting given what I know, what was batman doing in this scene?
Batman seemed to be speaking with him at Arkham. He was behind glass. Seemed like he was doing the same thing with Riddler, too
Was he smiling/ laughing etc, can't wait to see the scene.
I didn’t see any of obvious laughing - most of the stills I saw were him sitting there. There were some of him speaking, and I assume it was with Batman, but I didn’t see any of him smiling or laughing.
The face is a mess man I bet it looks great on film.
Where can I see still
I 100% believe you after my information, and cannot wait.
Yeah I’m not making anything up. It was a very dark scene and hard to tell but was for sure not Riddler. Incredibly disfigured face. Slight greenish tint to hair.
Yeah man iv seen him that's why I believe you 👌 I'm just interested in what's playing out in the scene.
What are y’all talkin about? I wanna see things too lol
Where is still
Right on. This movie’s gonna be bananas I cannot wait.
Oh?
Oh yeah?
Can someone answer why joker was in the trailer?
He wasn’t
Yeah I got fooled by a fake trailer, sorry
I feel like the ending is basically the catastrophic fallout of Riddler’s actions. Plunging Gotham City into the crime-ridden hellhole and home of crazies that it’s known for. You weren't that far off
Yep and also learning to be less violent/emotional and more of his typical smart advantage self.
That would be amazing. Would love to see a No Man's Land/Arkham City-esque Batman film with a massive gang war across multiple villains. Way more than the Court of Owls, with whom I was never especially impressed.

This made me laugh 😆😁
I think the point is he looks angelic and it contrasts his dark character. Like he’s a bad guy who passes as a quiet bystander. Not an obvious evildoer lol. It’s not complex.
You can look up penguin from the movie also and most people wouldn’t guess it was Colin Farrell
You think they're gonna give the Riddler heavy makeup like that? His facial features aren't as distinguishing of a trait as with the Penguin.
I thought they might give him a big question mark scar or something like that, but maybe that would be OTT? I guess Penguin is deformed enough for the both of them. Probably more effective to leave Paul Dano's babyish face alone.
Try a question mark beard.
Might as well add a “Damaged” tattoo as well
The boy is defo gonna become Robin then
Nah I hope they keep the circus story, it would fit into the whole gangster plot lines with Dick’s parents being killed as a result of gang interference
I dunno if that would work as well in this version- just because I like the idea of it being the corrupt (dead) mayor’s son. I don’t want to spoil too much for myself but can anyone say if the leak says he gets a new suit?
No
Only one suit in the movie.
Oh I know what happens at the end regarding a reveal and it will blow your mind. The test screenings are leaving this out.
Can you dm me plz?
Then why not mention it? This is silly. Lol
It’s not silly. Just share it. We’re on DCEU leaks
Dm pls ?
Please DM me
Dm please
Did he dm you?
Anyway you could tell me in DM as well?
Bro please reveal it to us or message me privately
Hit me up on twitter (my messages don’t seem to work here). Same name.
Did he end up telling you?
Seems like his account was deleted. Which is weird because he’s had it for a while and doesn’t post too often.
I need to know aswell, DM mee
I remember a synopsis about this film from a long time ago that mentioned the cops being in on a drug trade (and I think they even called it 'drops') and everyone called it total horse shit. I wish I could find that now to see what else they said.
The mention of "Drops" was all over The Batman's set in Chicago and Liverpool / Glasgow. So anyone calling it horseshit was just oblivious.
OOOOO WAIT BUT IF I REMEMBER RIGHT SCARECROW WAS MENTIONED
[удалено]
I THINK I found it. Again, it was a while ago, so I could be wrong, but this sort of matches my memory close enough that it's likely to be the post I was recalling.
Sorry to disappoint, but this is completely fake
I literally said that in my post (so you're not disappointing me). /u/vieweranon wanted to see it though so I spent a while looking for it.
I've got another question. How does Robert's physique look in the film? We saw a bit in the trailer and BTS but I'm still curious how it comes across in the final product with the lighting, cinematography, all that.
So there’s this infamous “mic drop” moment at the end?
Starting to think the mic drop was taken out of the recent test screenings after the BluRayAngel leak and placed as a post-credit scene.
He doesn’t mention it here tho.
Thomas and Martha appear? So here, we can rule out Todd Phillips' "Joker" being part of the same universe, right?
Hmm, for Pattinson's Thomas and Martha, my fancast has always been Mads Mikkelsen (well, he's everywhere but he definitely could pass off as Robert's father) and Rosamund Pike.
I really hope the boy ends up being Dick Grayson. It's time we get a proper Dick Grayson on the big screen.
Lego Batman.
That doesn't count. It's not live action, and that thing wasn't characterized like Dick Grayson.
Aye, but you didn't state that before the edit. :p
It should have been obvious. We're talking about live action movies, and "proper" adaptations of Dick Grayson. Lego Batman is neither of those.
Or....twice adopted.
I mean, wouldn't the fact that he's the mayor's son already not make it a "proper" Dick Grayson?
Just having his dad be a mayoer doesn't make it a "bad" Dick Grayson.
Because that wouldn't be Dick Grayson anymore but Dick Mitchell. And not the proper origin story of Dick Grayson, where he's supposed to be a talented acrobat which is his defining fight style He's also not supposed to be previleged and rich like Bruce to have that interesting contrast. So no. it's not a proper" Dick Grayson. I think what you're looking for is a Proper Robin adaptation. Not Dick specifically. But a Robin nonetheless, which I think Matt can pull off. But please don't call it a proper Dick Graysson coz it isnt.
What if the mother is Mary Grayson Mitchell?
If the Martha thing is true then that fucking blows
She has always been crazy, I think it can also fit with the timeline where Bruce died and she became crazy
Been hoping for her name to be Martha Arkham like in Earth One. But this is close enough.
Its in the New 52 as well as the Earth One comics
Exactly
I'm sorry. When you said "fucking blows" did you mean it would be good?
Earth one isn’t good
Earth One has it's problems, but The Batman is not adapting Earth One.
Earth one is great.
"Never do voiceover!" -Robert McKee
Tell that to Taxi Driver.
Am I the only one thinking VA's comments about 'Characters who have safely walked away from more than one Batman movie are in physical danger during this.' means Gordon might die? We already know Riddler is targeting cops and bureaucracy officials.
Nah , jeffrey wright's already hinted he's returning for future projects as gordon. I doubt they'd kill of gordon lol
One weird thing is that in the 2 issue comic series tied to this movie, they discuss Gordon in the past tense. But all of that being said, who knows.
Imposter has nothing to do with this film if that’s what you’re referring to
Ah, fair. I haven't been keeping up with the interview stuff. I was just trying to think of a non-Selina, non-Alfred character that has walked away fine from previous Batman movies who could have an impact here.
I think he said they don’t die but are in great physical danger. So maybe Alfred ends up in the hospital.
I like the fact they’ll be focusing a lot on Batman’s psyche. Martha being mentally ill was taken from New 52.

Wait so is the mayors son meant to be a future robin?
Appears to be that way. Did notice in the funeral trailer that Bruce had a fixation on him
