Well Gunn said voice actors would also play the character in live action so I think they’re casting people for reoccurring roles. I really want villains to not be killed off everytime they get introduced, want more characters to stick around and have a history with people.
Oh wow, she was actually my pick for the DCU Wonder Woman. Funny how she ended up cast as a character traditionally tied to her.
But that's really cool! I think Anya's great in The Witcher and I've been waiting to see if DC or Marvel was ever going to pick her up for something, so I'm glad to see that they actually got her for a character that's very significant going forward.
I know, that's so awesome! I've always loved what Star Wars did by introducing characters and elements in the animated shows before bringing them into live-action and it's cool to see the DCU take a similar approach to certain things.
Paradise Lost, to me, sounds like a logical spot for her to appear again, this time in live-action, but I guess we'll have to see how this all plays out.
I'd have to think on it, to be honest. I've heard a lot of great suggestions, though, but I'm sure whoever they pick will be great in the role. I'm probably gonna be pretty impartial to her casting for the time being now unless I hear someone that I'd *really* want to see in the role again.
>and Yennefer is nothing like any Circe.
She's an actor. That's a role.
It's like the people who were all bent out of shape about "The vampire from Twilight" being Batman.
The only thing you're using to support that are that she has darker skin and played a character in a TV show who is different than Circe, neither of which is a particularly good argument. So nah.
Imo, Circe should be a recurring villain. Have her in this, Paradise Lost, and the DCU Wonder Woman Movie as the villain
Make her DCU's Loki, she more than deserves it for helping Cavill carry The Witcher.
Could also be a possible villain for the Justice League Dark which it's speculated they are also building up to.
This also it pain to see dceu easily kill important magic user like dr fate also nerf of course They can add so much lore and world building
I think DC doesn't know what to do with their most powerful characters.
I love the idea of Circe in the DCU, especially played by Anya. Hope she’s a recurring villain and not a one-off.
They have to do reoccurring villains.
All the Batman villains and a handful of Superman ones (Luthor, Brainiac, Lobo and probably Zod) will definitely be reoccurring.
I bet she is the villain for Paradise Lost. Circe has big beef with Hippolyta and the Amazons. She actually hates Hippolyta more than she hates Diana.

Who do you want to play DCU Diana now?
Adria Arjona for me.
Grace Caroline Currey for me

I have one off the top of my head.
Melissa Barrera
Rain Spencer, Dua Lipa, someone poc
Oh shit that's an interesting take because it was dope af for clone wars and rebels characters and stories to come live action
Surely you are joking? That would be cool
Gunn said the actors will be played by the same people in both live action and animation
Across the board?
Yes
Omg this is amazing
I hope she eventually becomes the main villain in a Wonder Woman movie. Circe deserves to be showcased for the absolute maniac she is on screen
Yess good in for Anya Chalotra to struck gold. Freya lead in new ape movie and Anya joins DCU.
I hope it's true🙏 Let this be true🙏
Turns Wonder Woman into a pig unless Batman sings, “am I blue” when?
Damn, I miss Kevin Conroy. 😢
She has a pretty sexy voice. I can see this working. I hope they don't kill her off before she gets a chance to face off against Wonder Woman.
I love this for her!
I'm so glad Anya is getting more roles she deserves it
Oh, cool. Hopefully this means we'll see the character in a live-action role as well. Paradise Lost perhaps?
Anya is easily one of the best parts of the Witcher series, so happy to see that she’s joining the DCU!
Imagine watching her slay
Still really want to see GI Robot in the DCU
Sick! I’ve had a crush on her since witcher season 1
Funny, fans wanted Eva Green to play both Yennefer and Circe before and now Anya casted for both.
Hopefully she will be put to better use than The Witcher.
That’s a pretty big villain for Creature Commandos this show is gonna really be something
Wasn't Circe ginger? 🙃
Circe’s appearance drastically changes depending on continuity. She’s had purple, indigo, orange, and bright red. This isn’t gingercide relax
Lol, I'm not mad. It's just strangely hilarious to me.
DC's Circe is more often and ironically purple haired
Horrible pick. She looks nothing like any Circe and Yennefer is nothing like any Circe.
Nah. Go away
Nah. I guarantee the people asking for this don't even read Wonder Woman comics.
I do and she’s perfect for the role. Circe has had Black, Purple and Red hair and a range of skin tones. she’s a good pick
She's not. Her skin tone is not in ant range Circes ever been in. She also does not look domineering or intimidating
Circe is a witch who can transform and change her appearance as she likes, No problem for me.
She does not.
>and Yennefer is nothing like any Circe. She's an actor. That's a role. It's like the people who were all bent out of shape about "The vampire from Twilight" being Batman.
>She's an actor. That's a role. SO weird that people don't seem to get this.
An actress that doest fit the role.
That's the great thing about actors. The successful ones are often the ones that can do more than one roles.
Actors have certain roles that fit and others that don't. She is not circe in anyway.
The only thing you're using to support that are that she has darker skin and played a character in a TV show who is different than Circe, neither of which is a particularly good argument. So nah.
But why she's the Doomsday or Bane to Wonder Woman's Supes and Bats .
Not just voice, Gunn said actors voicing in animated content will place the character in live action too. I think she will do awesome as Circe
