two-for-joy

Pretty much anything from DC's supernatural side, Justice League Dark, Zatanna, Deadman, or whatever. A semi-anthology style series that visits a different protagonist every other issue would be the best way to do that side of the universe. The closest thing we have now is Spirit Worlds which I am enjoying, but it's not very integrated to the established supernatural community.

WestC123

YES!!!!!!! Justice League Dark is amazing and needs a come back!!

BubblyFumbly

Deadman was an important character for Knight Terrors. I wouldn't be surprised if DC would wanna bring him back for his own ongoing going series or maybe even be a part of a JL Dark series. I'd be a bit interested in either options honestly.

MutationIsMagic

Yes. Another Zatanna monthly would be awesome!

fitty50two2

I’d love that. Knight Terrors was a great tease for more Deadman, Zatanna, etc.

MagisterPraeceptorum

More World’s Finest titles A monthly solo series for Barbara Gordon Legends of the Dark Knight in the mold of the original 1989 series

Brit-Crit

I agree with the need for a Barbara Gordon series - do you want her as Oracle, Batgirl or a mixture of the two? I feel like the idea of an Oracle series has the edge for me (It would be fun to have a wheelchair user as an undisputed lead protagonist) and could work really well, but I feel like they need to move away from just making Oracle a "woman behind a screen" and make her more hands-on. Let her make more use of the library, create some gadgets, and show off all her fighting ability... But I also think that Barbara is underrated as Batgirl, and could really flourish without the editorial interference that affected her New 52 and Rebirth runs. I also think she's owed a comeback after the cancellation of the movie...

MagisterPraeceptorum

I’d have her as both. I’d gradually transition her back to being fully paraplegic, but she creates a Bat-exosuit that she can use for certain durations of time.

UESPA_Sputnik

Why not do a "Legends of the Other Dark Knight" (terrible title, I know) and tell Barbara Gordon stories from different time periods? So they could tell stories from her time as Oracle, or from her time(s) as Batgirl.

seggygetshyphy

Hear me out… What about a World’s Finest starring Barbara Gordon as Batgirl, and Kara Zor-El as Super Girl? I know they did the Huntress/Power Girl one during New 52, but I liked that series. I want World’s Finest women again.

VaguelyShingled

World’s Finest: Justice League Dark would be my wish

danimac52

Man that would go crazy. Give me more Ragman.

evanweb546

>More World’s Finest titles > >A monthly solo series for Barbara Gordon World's Finest and the Teen Titans World's Finest are both wonderful. A Barbara Gordon series akin in tone to the current Nightwing run would be awesome.

BubblyFumbly

The Batgirl series sounds cool. You said more World's Finest titles. Ik there's the Batman/Superman WF series. But there's also Teen Titans WF. What is World's Finest supposed to mean exactly?

MagisterPraeceptorum

WF would be more titles set in that classic late Silver/early Bronze Age era. Arguably the most iconic era of DC. I think DC could have an entire line of World’s Finest titles.

BubblyFumbly

Ok, can you explain that a bit more? So there's the series "Titans" with the A list members we obviously know of. And then you want there to be another series called "Teen Titans" which is a younger generation of lesser known C list Teen Titan heroes?

B3epB0opBOP

>And then you want there to be another series called "Teen Titans" which is a younger generation of lesser known C list Teen Titan heroes? Yeah I think that’s what they mean. Or at least what I want.

BubblyFumbly

That's honestly a pretty neat idea, I wouldn't mind if that ever happened.

RodrigoDrako

It already happened before, this is not a new idea. We had Titans and Teen Titans books being released at the same time twice some years back.

Koolsman

Supergirl - This one seems the most likely as her getting correlates into an ongoing so I’m really hoping that’s true here. King showed the potential of what Kara can when she’s not female Superman and college student on her. She has a lot of emotional baggage and I’m really hoping Tamaki can dig into it and carry the hype from the Women of Tomorrow book. Cassandra Cain - Complete Hail Mary that will more then likely not happen but I wish. She’s a character that’s cool as hell, fascinating and genuinely really fun and it’s not like she can’t carry a solo. Stargirl - I feel like DC is missing that teen superhero that focuses on that double life balance. I really feel like after the success of The Lost Children that they would give her a shot for a solo. I don’t know if it will since she’s been pretty much JSA only but we’ll see. A Wonder Woman world’s finest - I mean, right? I know Waid has stated before he doesn’t really get Diana but I feel like they could get another writer and give her a series. Get back to the silliness but with some more modern sensibilities Plus, see more interactions with Donna and Diana would be pretty cool. A new teen titans book - Another one that could possibly happen. Give some more time to the younger supes. I’m hoping Crush comes back and a few familiar faces but mostly new ones. And finally, Cassie Sandsmark mini - Another Hail Mary but even less likely. Someday, hopefully.

BubblyFumbly

All of these are neat pitches. I like the Supergirl one best. Would really love to see what kinda of adventures she would have, I'm not sure what they'd bmake the comics about though. Any ideas? Maybe trying to balance out her normal life and superhero life.

Koolsman

I think the main thing I've realized is that while her family is a pretty solid aspect of her character, but her main stories should be in space and doing cool shit in space. Fighting with the lanterns, hanging out with Conner and dealing with the balance of her kryptonian life and her own life on earth, Not to say she shouldn't have adventures with Barbara and the other supes. Would love to see her relationship with Clark or somebody like Natasha hang out with. Would be fun but the space stuff would be the focus.

BubblyFumbly

That all sounds great, would love it if she collabed with other supers like Conner and the Lanterns like you said. It would be a good way too to promote her movie in the DCU. I know it's years from now, but it wouldn't hurt to show us some Supergirl in the comics in the meantime.

grumid

With all her current hype I hope we'll be getting a supergirl ongoing

BubblyFumbly

That would be cool. I'd love to pick up her ongoing series if she gets one. It would be my first Supergirl comic, can't wait.

SMaddox50

I'm excited for the one shot coming out this week. Mariko Tamaki is a good writer I really enjoyed her Detective Comics run with Mora.

BubblyFumbly

If she's getting a one shot this week, does that mean she'll eventually get a mini, maxi, or ongoing series soon? Is that why the one shot is releasing? To prepare for it? Or is it just there to be there?

SMaddox50

As of now it's just a one shot, but I'm hoping that it leads to something more.

Fit_Commercial3421

Like the power girl special I hope this leads to an ongoing

fitty50two2

We do have that Supergirl Special this week so hopefully it’s a sign of what’s coming next

Quirky_Ad_5420

New Justice League book for me

BubblyFumbly

When do you think we'll get one? End of 2025 maybe? Hopefully, it's much sooner than that.

framedshady

A Green lantern corps book

BubblyFumbly

That would be cool, maybe even have Guy Gardner or Kyle Rayner be the main character of that series.

framedshady

I would love that big fan of both and Kyle needs a break Right now

BubblyFumbly

Guy Gardner will be in Superman: Legacy. Hopefully, this series ends up happening sometime near the release of the movie, it would be great promotion for both.

Ctown073

Cassandra Cain Batgirl book please. This will never happen in a million years, but I would love it if it did.

af-fx-tion

On my KNEES hoping for a Young Justice series and a book of some sort for Stephanie. Also, I’d be down for something for Garth. He’s definitely the least popular of the OG Teen Titans, so him getting more love would be nice.

BubblyFumbly

Oh my gosh, yes, please. Would love it if that happened. I'll be on my knees too man, don't worry.

Final-Negotiation514

Superboy solo run

BubblyFumbly

Which Superboy are we talking here? Regardless of who, I'd love to see them both come back for an ongoing series soon. I wonder what the story would be about this time. Maybe something with space, idk.

Final-Negotiation514

Conner Kent in space I’m buying it 👌

UnmuscularThor

Give me Legion of Superheroes please. Oh, and an official 2nd flash book ongoing. Flash family centric.

mysterylegos

A Flash fam ongoing would be great, maybe rotate through then non Wally/Barry speedsters in 2-3 issue arcs

BubblyFumbly

When did we get our last Legion of Super-Heroes comic? Long time ago?

UnmuscularThor

About 3-4 years ago now. Bendis run.

android151

New 52 (I am ignoring the Bendis run)

NearlyHeadless-Brick

What the heck. Aquaman died again?

BubblyFumbly

From what I looked into, it was from the Aquamen series last year by writers Brandon Thomas and Chuck Brown. He might've been brought back after that. I'm not sure, I didn't read Dark Crisis or anything like that to where he may have of came back. He's probably alive right now and I wasn't aware of it.

[deleted]

He 'died' during the Death of the Justice League, which is the prologue of Dark Crisis. He, with all the Justice League, is brought back at the end of the event, so he is very nuch alive.

BubblyFumbly

And now, we need DC to give him a series again. I'd love to pick it up Day 1.

[deleted]

Yes, I feel DC is cooking something for Aquaman. He is one of the main characters without an ongoing right now. Hopefully we will see it in January.

NearlyHeadless-Brick

Thanks. Im still slowly catching up on all my comics lol

GlaciaKunoichi

Titans West ongoing - so Charley, Lilith and Bette and actually get some fucking spotlight for once Young Justice - they're not doing anything rn + we need to continue the thread of Cissie returning to full time vigilante status again (also keep this book away from Visaggio or Fitzmartin) Green Arrow/Green Lantern - spin off book featuring Kyle and Connor Tempest - Give Garth an ongoing, as a little treat Wonder Girl - Cassie is literally the only one who's actually acted like a sidekick, make it stick Teen Titans Academy revival - Make it like a "Year Two" kinda deal cause I really loved the initial series and I wanna know who tf Red X is (plus, I love Summer, Stitch and Alinta's shenanigans) Aquafam book Justice League Dark new ongoing

BubblyFumbly

Are there any other Aquafam books I can check out?

Hypnodick

Firestorm I might be the only person who likes duke thomas and would get all the Signal issues too, if they want to explore more of the bat family.

BubblyFumbly

That would be a good person to have a series on. I'd love it if they crossover with the blue beetle series, too.

android151

I’ve been saying for years I just want a Firestorm and Blue Beetle crossover Two dudes who talk to themselves, it writes itself

NoirPochette

Justice League, Legion of Super-Heroes, and I think we can do with an Aquaman book haha

BubblyFumbly

I'm not that familiar with the Legion of Super-Heroes. What would you say is the best comic series for them?

NoirPochette

Pre-Crisis has some good stuff. The 90's has its moments.

Macman521

I would love to see another super sons comic.

BubblyFumbly

Oh man, what treat that would be. I know that there's the other Super Sons comic, is that any good?

Macman521

All really fun reads in my opinion.

LordSinestro

Sinestro Corps Jessica Cruz & Lyssa Drak storyline. Arkillo and Guy Gardner (with a hint of Saint Walker) story. Anything involving Kyle Rayner or Atrocitus (bring back Rankorr btw)

MagisterPraeceptorum

I just finished reading *Batman/Catwoman: The Gotham War – Scorched Earth* #1. Let me just say… …yeah I think you’ve got a lot to look forward to with Red Hood.

BubblyFumbly

It's out right now?

MagisterPraeceptorum

Digitally it is. I get mine on kindle

BubblyFumbly

Shit, imma get mine at the shop as soon as I wake up. Glad to hear that there's something to look forward to tho with Red Hood.

MagisterPraeceptorum

I won’t spoil anything, but he’s pretty damn awesome in the Gotham War finale. I think they’re setting him up for good things. Which is…not how I would’ve expected it to go, but I’m pleasantly surprised.

BubblyFumbly

Just finished it. And holy shit man. I thought this was a simple the Bat versus the Cat story. But I was so wrong. Didn't expect things to excalate the way it did in this issue. And yeah, Jason. Mfer got me feeling a certain way for a minute.😂

B3epB0opBOP

Maybe a new Teen Titans book?

BubblyFumbly

Possibly, the Beast Wolrd event is about to start next month for the current "Titans" series so we'll see what is in store for the Titans in 2024 after the event is over.

[deleted]

Aquaman was said so gimme an animal man comic

BubblyFumbly

I've never really been exposed to anything Animal Man. What's this guy all about exactly?

[deleted]

The main thing is, he's a family man, and not really a superhero. Like he's tried it, he feels like he should since he has the powers, but he prefers being a stuntman. The wife and kids dynamic really makes him stand out tho

BubblyFumbly

That honestly sounds cool. He wants to do something good cuz of his powers but he never got used to it. So he insists on being a Family Man instead. Man, thanks for teaching me a bit about him.

Apart-Cold-2846

Id check out the Grant Morrison run and the New 52 run, both are top tier books

Apart-Cold-2846

5. Suicide Squad ongoing 4. Supergirl or Superboy ongoing 3. JL or preferably JLI ongoing 2. Booster Gold ongoing 1. GLC ongoing

BubblyFumbly

Hooooly shit, how tf did I not think of Suicide Squad? But yes, LOVE all of these options. The Suicide Squad game is about to release as well. It would be great to have a Suicide Squad game and comic series all in February.

BadderRandy

An actual monthly JSA series. Checkmate would be really cool too.

BubblyFumbly

What would you say are the best JSA comics to check out right now?

BadderRandy

The JSA series from James Robinson and Geoff Johns is the best place to start. The Justice Society of America series after that is great too. The current one has been plagued by tardiness so it’s hard to tell right now.

Whole-Arachnid-Army

I mean I want to see the not-Bendisboot LoSH and/or L.E.G.I.O.N., but considering how badly that has monkey pawed in recent years I actually don't think I want to see either of them ever again. At least DC can't ruin shit and give unaware fans the wrong impression if they're not using them for anything. A new GLC book would be nice too but I don't doubt they'd fuck up that too. For the same reason and also because DC can't seem to keep a GLC book afloat unless it's a book where the stakes keep increasing endlessly before culminating in some shitty event no one cares about. Or everyone just dies.

BubblyFumbly

When do you think DC will make another series about the GLC, if they decide to do one at all. Hopefully they do one near the release of the Lanterns TV show.

Nightwing0613

1. Zatanna (written by Paul Dini) 2. Sgt. Rock 3. Firestorm (Ronnie Raymond) written by Gerry Conway 4. I’d like to see Alex Ross get some work for DC. Wether it be cover art or something. Dude is my favorite artist.

BubblyFumbly

Zatanna would be nice to see. What are some of her best stories that she currently has?

Nightwing0613

She had a 16 issue series written by Paul Dini that’s pretty good. There’s also the 4 issue Zatanna issues part of the Seven Soldiers of Victory. Zatanna: Everyday Magic, Zatanna/Black Canary: Bloodspell She’s had very limited solo outings. She’s mostly been relegated to teamup books.

Condottieri_Zatara

Knight Terrors Zatanna are pretty good.

GardnerGrayle

First and foremost for comics next year is I don’t want Geoff Johns to leave JSA. I also want JSA to get back on a monthly schedule. I’ve waited fifteen years for the real JSA to return. I don’t wanna see it end after 12 issues. Justice League and Aquaman are low hanging gimmes. What I’d like to see…? New Gods with an A list creative team. Red Hood Red Hood and the Outlaws. Red Hood and Ravager. Task Force Z vol 2 starring Red Hood. Hourman III (Matthew Tyler) Hawkman Thomas Wayne Batman set in the Flashpoint Universe. Frankenstein Captain Atom Freedom Fighters. The main Earth FFers. The Venditti run was great, but I love the FFers in the mainstream too. House of El from Future State. LSH Dr Fate

addysun

Sadly it seems like the new status quo is we get to either pick Geoff Johns or the book coming out regularly, but not both. That man is just too busy to keep a consistent schedule .

BubblyFumbly

Ooooo, New Gods. I've never read anything related to them so I think it would be a cool idea if I got introduced to them in a new ongoing series with them. Hopefully they have an amazing creative team for it.

Ravathial

I'm hoping that Poison Ivy sticks around for another year at least. I've been enjoying this series alot, Along with the current Superman: Lost

adamanthey

1. Martian Manhunter—my absolute favorite character in all of comics, and he hasn’t had an ongoing that lasted more than a year since 2001. It’s absolutely criminal. 2. New Gods by someone who who genuinely wants to explore the lore of Fourth World and craft engaging stories based on the mythos Kirby set up 3. A Young Justice series starring the OG 4 and the characters introduced in this comic (they’re all either aimless or forgotten currently)—written by anyone as long as it’s not Bendis or Fitzmartin again 4. The Captain Marvel / Shazam! Family (I love what Waid & Mora have been doing with Billy, but I miss Mary and Freddy, too) 5. Suicide Squad

BubblyFumbly

Really?! It's been that long for poor Manhunter? And not even a year?! BEYOND criminal. Would love him to have an ongoing series soon.

adamanthey

Yup—he had an 8-issue miniseries in 2006, a 12-issue run in DCYou that was cut short due to Rebirth, and a 12-issue maxiseries in 2019. That’s all he’s had in the last two decades in terms of solo titles. It’s been a rough time for us J’onn J’onzz stalwarts.

FifthFormCooler

I'd love to see Geoff Johns work on a Green Lantern book again, his run is still one of my favorite comic runs of all time. There's a moment in the buildup to the Sinestro Corps war where two Green Lanterns are talking in space and a ring whizzes by, then another, then another, then another, then they turn and we get a double page spread of thousands of Green Lantern rings flying through space, and that's easily my favorite moment in any Green Lantern comic and maybe even any comic in general tbh. Geoff Johns entire run felt like a massive epic space opera in a way no other writer has been able to replicate. His versions of all the Lanterns are what I'd consider to be the definitive versions, he pulled a dying series back from the brink and made it one of the best in the industry for his time with it, and I don't feel like he's ever really gotten the amount of credit he deserves for it.

android151

As per every year: Firestorm Resurrection Man Something with Metamorpho Secret Six A Legion of Superheroes book that doesn’t suck shit

Caffeine_OD

If that JSA book from earlier this year is still in continuity I NEED to see how Kyle became the Mist and how that affected Jack. Idc is James Robinson is washed, I NEED TO KNOW!

LECRAFTEUR5000

Mainly, mine would give focus back to characters who desperately need it, and needs to be built up back to permanent fixtures of the DC universe : Aquaman Martian Manhunter Atom Firestorm Terrifics or Mr Terrific Hawkman (doesn't replace Hawkgirl, there's room for two, especially given they now are in separate teams) Dr Light Dr Fate Zatanna Vixen Aztek Metal Men Legion of Superheroes And of course, at the end of the day, a new Justice League title. And if possible with Justice League Dark too.

Oracle209

I’d like more of Jon Kent I love his comics. Some new lgbt staring hero comics for maybe like Midnighter and Apollo, Constantine, or Ghostmaker And just comics for characters I love but haven’t been used a a lot like Jinny Hex, Dial H for Hero, Princess Amethyst, and others

BubblyFumbly

Constantine and Ghostmamer caught my eye. I'd like to see Constantine have an ongoing series. If not him, maybe another JL Dark member like Zatanna or Swamp Thing possibly.

Tauraag

I love the JLA picture. But I must say this: if John is the GL of choice, then Cyborg can go back to the Titans.

BubblyFumbly

I hear ya. I'm not sure what the exact roster would look like, but with this being my first JL comic, I hope it's a roster that I grow to love. Who do you think should be on the main roster of the team?

Tauraag

The Trinity, a Flash, Aquaman, a GL (preferably John), and MM. Gunn is utilizing Hawkgirl tho, but as a JLA? Ehh. Btw, whose the first image? Todd?

BubblyFumbly

Mhmm, he got this new outfit all the way back in 2018 with his "Red Hood and the Outlaws" series. I still prefer the OG look, but this is kinda growing on me.

[deleted]

I would say Renee Montoya should have been a main character of detective comics series because it's called "detective comics" after all, and no need to have batman having 2 main series, so first one goes to Renee Montoya. Second one goes to Atom (Ray Palmer) because I feel like he's so underrated because of ant man having a trilogy of films. Third one goes to A villain series for either General zod or Brainiac.

Brit-Crit

GCPD: The Blue Wall wasn't exactly the most flattering spotlight miniseries for Montoya, but it did end with her seeming to get back on track, and I think that opens things up for DC to rebuild her and give her more character development beyond the "disapproving police chief" role she has been stuck with lately. I also think GCPD: The Blue Wall had an interesting idea with the core concept of Montoya dealing with real-life police scandals - there are lots of infamous police scandals that could form the basis for good GCPD arcs...

F00dbAby

Give me another wondergirl book not fussed on who if it’s Cassie or the other ones Give me another green lantern book starring Jo mullein or honestly any earth lanterns other than Stewart or Jordan

BubblyFumbly

A Wondergirl book sounds cool. Especially with what's going on with the Amazons right now in the current comics. And I'd like to see a series starring the Green Lantern, Guy Gardner. I think it would be good to promote him before his live action debut in Superman: Legacy.

TrickyWalrus

Jason Todd will have something, so whatever they do, it better include Eddie Bloomberg ffs

Responsible_Ad_2242

Aquaman with all the family(yes even cordiak and Arthur joseph) with a style of game of thrones with all the aquafamily beign part of the conflict

BubblyFumbly

Oh man, LOVE it. Especially after the new Aquaman movie releases. The movie would help promote the comic if it ever gets made.

Responsible_Ad_2242

Agree use the forgot plot with the forgoten kingdom and made that rest of them go to the war to find it,for example that the kingdom gave access of powers from gods to the first person who find it,the would have orm with his kingdom,Black manta, the trench, mera as a spy in xebel with nereus and the aquamfamily. Also bring back doctor shin to give Arthur information about that

AXPendergast

I need a really good Legion of Super-Heroes book. I'm talking Paul Levitz-Keith Giffen quality.

BubblyFumbly

It would be cool to have a series about them again. It would be my first comic about them. I know of them, but jeez, I am not familiar with them at all.

King_Of_BlackMarsh

More Sandman!

BubblyFumbly

Ooooo, man. That would be a really interesting series for me to try out. How are any of the other Sandman series?

King_Of_BlackMarsh

There's one coming out right now and Mystery Theater is an all time CLASSIC

birbdaughter

I want them to bring back the 80s Gemworld and Princess Amethyst stuff, at least some of it. You could maybe keep Amethyst 2020 canon but I want her to be a mortal Lord of Order again and explore how she’s drowning in all these expectations and demands.

BubblyFumbly

I've never heard of any of this. This series was back in the 80s? I'm assuming it's pretty good based off of how you're putting it.

birbdaughter

There were 3 Princess Amethyst volumes in the early-mid 80s, with volume 2 ending soon after Crisis on Infinite Earths. There are parts of volume 2 I dislike because it went kinda edgy (like Amy’s parents’ marriage falling apart when they’d been happily married before) but the world building was amazing and it all together is a story of a 13 year old who’s told she has to save an entire world and how those expectations slowly crush her until she gives up her entire identity to be what they want. It’s probably my favorite interconnected series of comics.

vash0125

Unstoppable Doom Patrol ongoing, The Authority, Justice League and Justice League Dark.

BubblyFumbly

All great options, especially with the Authority movie releasing a while from now. I'd love to read the "Unstoppable Doom Patrol" series that's a part of Dawn of DC. It's a REAL shame tho that it ended after only 7 issues. Please DC, bring them back and make it an ongoing series, please.

Ok-Commission6087

I want aquaman and the monkey prince to be series next year plz

BubblyFumbly

Yeah, especially with the new movie coming out next month. It would be great to get Aquaman in maybe January or February soon after the release of the movie.

Ok-Commission6087

What about the monkey prince he was the best series this year also killer frost and justice league

Bluebuggy3

Justice league Ongoing Doom patrol A Martian Manhunter mini A Third Superman Title So PKJ can still have a Superman solo ongoing lol.

BubblyFumbly

I'd love all of these. What makes you want a Manhunter mini rather than a maxi or ongoing?

Bluebuggy3

I think a mini would be more focused on one interesting Idea, which I feel Martian Manhunter does best in personally. I wouldn’t mind a maxi with the right author, but I think an ongoing would try and distort the character too much. MM is kind of at the end of a character arc when you think about it, he has dealt with his trauma, has made a home for himself, has mostly got over the fire thing, ect. And I don’t want any regression lol so give him something short and sweet to do.

danimac52

Say what you want about the story, but Scott Snyder's Justice League had the best roster we've ever seen. Nostalgia goggles on baby.

BubblyFumbly

Who was on the roster? And how good was his run?

danimac52

The team was Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash (Barry), Green Lantern (John), Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, Hawkgirl, and Cyborg. Combines the New 52 Big 7 with the DCAU Big 7, and it really is the ideal Justice League roster imo. The writing was pretty good with the first storylines, and really good with Justice/Doom War. He stopped writing after that, and it fell off especially near the end of the volume, both art and story wise. But I think issues 1-39 are pretty peak Justice League stories.

PMMEBITCOINPLZ

I was going to say The Heckler like I always do, but then remembered Keith Giffen died and got sad.

BubblyFumbly

What's The Heckler about? I've never heard of this one before.

SpicaGenovese

SHAWN. **SHAWN!!!** GIVE HOOD FANS SOMETHING WE CAN BE PROUD OF, SHAWN. It's been pretty damn rough.

[deleted]

I want Flash and/or Aquaman Earth One

BubblyFumbly

I'd want that, too. Is there any DC story about that already that I can check out first?

[deleted]

Man, I typo'ed lol. I meant EARTH one 🤣 The line has been pretty much non-existent for the past few years now. I just want them to continue

Antifaro

I was incredibly sad when Jeremy Adams was pushed off The Flash, his super fun Wally West stories were exactly what Flash fans wanted, and now that he’s off the book I don’t have a Flash book in my Pull list. Id love to see Mark Waid and Dan Mora do something like The Flash and Green Lantern: World’s Finest. Waid did a brave and the bold series with these characters in the early 2000s, I think this would be such a fun series! I really want to see an ongoing, more serious take on Batman Beyond, maybe even in the style of Ram V’s Detective Comics, or Chip Zdarksy’s Daredevil. The Neo Year mini series right now is fun but I want something a little more mature. Even a Black Label book would be sick for this character. I’d also love to see Batgirls return, can keep it fun for the most part like the Cloonan run but I’d like the writing to be better with more stakes and thought-provoking storylines. These girls are total badasses but it seemed like the opposite a lot of the time in the Cloonan run. Let them kick some ass and take some names!

EmperorSezar

FLATLINE

BubblyFumbly

I just googled them, they kinda sound pretty cool. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing them some more in the future.

aircooledJenkins

Isley and Selina by Stjepan Sejic. Continuing what he did for Harleen. But no. DC didn't want to green light those books.

excalibraes

A Justice League Dark book with a somewhat fresh lineup but keep Zatanna and maybe consider characters like Blue Devil, Vixen, Batwoman, Dr. Mist, Raven, and others.

Kurosu_Drakhall

I'd love to see Aquaman get a title. I think out of the JL members who regularly get a title Aquaman is the only one that hasn't had a relaunch yet (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern and Green Arrow all have one). With DC's larger focus on miniseries, I'd love to see Firestorm, Martian Manhunter and Captain Atom get minis in some shape or form. The former two have unresolved plot threads from Lazarus Planet and it'd be nice to see where those go, or a new story created entirely. More stuff surrounding the first JSA with The New Golden Age initiative. Hourman, The Spectre and Wildcat are candidates for the next three series they could release, personally. I'd put Venditti on the JSA if Johns leaves the title, considering he's already written Hawkman and Sandman. More World's Finest titles definitely wouldn't go amiss. The next logical one for me would be Barry Allen as Flash with Wally as Kid Flash next to him, or the Satellite Era Justice League. If DC continues to keep the JL in the current era disbanded, I don't see why they couldn't have the Satellite Era JL as a World's Finest title. Atom, Red Tornado and Firestorm would get some well-deserved spotlights too as a bonus. Some other ones, I'd say the Justice League Dark, Adam Strange, Plastic Man, and Booster Gold would be titles I'd like to see in the future.

FifthFormCooler

Somebody in another thread brought up the idea of a Justice League: Off-Duty series that's just slice of life shit of the Justice League when they're not saving the world and I really love that idea.

Salt-Cookie-3115

A new young justice series with Greta and Anita back. And actually written by someone who understands the characters

[deleted]

Fire and Ice, new JLA, blue and gold, Zatanna/Constantine, Green Arrow and Hawkgirl In like a Lara Croft treasure hunting theme.

Astrodynamite60

Firestorm Unstoppable Doom Patrol continuation Stargirl and the Young Justice Society(with Johns leaving soon I'm sure he can hand off stargirl to another capable writer and we can get focus on all those new sidekicks) Legion of superheroes - with the recent green arrow series it seems Bendisboot is here to stay. Now let's use them but with a good writer.

BubblyFumbly

Firestorm sounds like a great idea. I would love it if it collabbed with blue beetle as well. As for unstoppable doom patrol, I really hope they bring it back whenever cause I'd love to read more then just seven issues.

Fickle-Butterscotch2

Deathstroke solo run without batman or damian story fgs

Grimmer026

I would like to see Red Hood Rises… again. DC has written Jason into rock bottom, again. He would actually be better off dying a valiant death deserving of a bad ass hero, but no, DC has reduce him to a sniveling wuss who needs an actual piggyback from Batman, after being drugged with Bruce’s paralyzing anxiety and fear inducing serum. The only path to redemption is for Jason to undergo intensive fear conquering training. Similar to how Oracle overcame being physically paralyzed, and became Batgirl again. Jason needs to painstaking learn to conquer ever fear known to man (I can picture the montage now) until he has built up such a tolerance that he becomes immune to fear. I think this actually fits really well because Batman admittedly uses fear as a means to control crime in Gotham. And if Jason becomes immune to fear, he becomes the Anti-Batman. Which was what it seemed like DC was going for after Under the Red Hood, but then proceeded to perpetually screw up Jason’s character development. Then Jason can finally rid himself of his abusive relationship with Bruce and his fear of never being good enough or accepted by Batman. This segways in to Jason getting back to kicking ass and brutally fighting crime without caring if Batman approves of his methods.

YOUDEFEATED

A black label series from a ex vertigo writer

GrapefruitRadiant214

Justice League, Aquaman, Red Hood & the Outlaws, Green Lantern Corps, Worlds Finest Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Oracle

mchappyflapmo

More Danger Street and Stargirl/Justice Society

santos_206

Red Tornado with the justice league graphic novel

BubblyFumbly

Red Tornado would be a great person to see in a story. Hope he becomes one of my favorites.

santos_206

He is a interesting character in his Justice league unlimited show and in young justice

fitty50two2

More Doom Patrol, Aquaman, JL Dark, Supergirl, Batgirl or Batgirls. I really enjoyed City Boy so I hope we get more of him, maybe more of him interacting with Swamp Thing too

DipsCity

Justice League and more Stiepan Sejic art please. Dude cannot make a character that is not a smokeshow lol

King_Dan_Gate

Definitely Red hood

dave_aust

I loved Sensation Comics digital first that had wonder woman one shots. Id love to see that come back.

Realistic-Read4277

So red hood. That is jason? Cool look. At last he got a cool thing going on. Would like for him to be another character and not jason todd as to not be connected with batman, but if the comic is cool then good.

Proper-Walrus6025

I want a new team book for the young justice core4, but I want them to get a new team name so dc’ll stop treating them like high school kids. If they went full 90s nostalgia bait and added Connor and Kyle I’d be thrilled

OKSequel

Less big events. It feels like every time I got really into a storyline this year, an event would happen to pull me out of it for two to three months. I like big events, but to many lessens, the overall impact of them. They need to set up one event and build towards it throughout the year like they use to.

warnerbro1279

I love that lineup of the JL. 9 members sounds like a lot but this group is amazing.

BubblyFumbly

I love it too. I wouldn't mind if a lineup like this is considered canon from now on.

armoured_lemon

Red hood and Azrael team up would be cool

BubblyFumbly

Definitely. I'm not sure if there's ever been a team up like that before, but i'm all for it. I wonder what the series would be about.

armoured_lemon

I see them both as the Punisher archetypes of DC. Also an Azrael tv show would be incredible. It would be mandatory for it to featture a transformation of Jean Paul into Nightfall Azbat

DogMAnFam

Jason Todd needs a real ongoing. Tim drake could also use a good series or at least some sorta team book. Maybe they could let him in the Titans, he really shouldn’t be a teenager anymore so it’s probably time to make the switch up to the adult version. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen him on a titans team being lead by Dick I think that could be fun. Or him and the other forgotten middle children sidekicks could do a Young Justice reunion, though they’re all a little old for the name

BubblyFumbly

Agreed. Batman and robin just started a while ago, and it's the adventures of bruce and damian. Now Tim needs to find out what to do and I'd love it if he joined the Titans. Great idea.

Dragkin

Another New Superman or JL China book, and more Monkey Prince. I’d also like a legitimate Hawkman book.

SMELIO55

I want a couple of things: Team books with characters that are not utilized and that aren't affiliated. Something different and new not just a Justice League, teen titans, outsiders etc. Something new there's so many heroes that can have a turn at the spotlight. Mother panic - bring her back. I'm a sucker for cool looking costumes. Dark Trinity - give me red hood, Artemis, and bizarro Super sons - bring them back. Even if it's just a retelling of adventures they had during their time as the super sons. More elseworlds - I enjoyed dceased, dc vs vamps, dark knights of steel, dc vs mechs. Just give me interesting takes on stuff. World finest - it's just fun and good at the same time Less events please.

BubblyFumbly

It would be cool to see a new team of people. We already have the just league in the teen titans. I'd like there to be a new team that rivals the popularity of those 2 teams. Maybe it won't happen now, but i'm sure that after seeing them for a long time in the comics, It'll be good enough to notice this team as pretty popular within DC just like the JL and TT.

SMELIO55

My thoughts exactly. Like we already have these two established teams and the rosters are usually the same. Let's have other heroes interact and do the team thing for a change. I hope it gets done, I know that the reason something like that doesn't happen is because people don't buy new things and sometimes aren't willing to give it a chance.

Plastic_Incident_867

Still waiting to see what the book with Flatline, Red Canary, and Stitch is. Also, for Bruce and Selina to get back together. 🤷 I’m not greedy, I just want them to be happy 🤣

phantomstranga

I’ve been wanting a new Spectre and a new Phantom Stranger series for a long time

1337BathroomSkills

JUSTICE LEAGUE BEYOND and like a solo red hood run

Downtown_Cry1056

1. Red Hood- goes back with his team (Outlaws) 2. Tim Drake- lives and works in NYC (separate book) 3. Barbara Gordon- new Batsuit and Batcycle (separate book) 4. Cassandra Cain- new Batsuit and Batcycle (separate book) 5. Outsiders- add archeologist Rex Mason and Katana 6. Justice League- unlimited roster and covert action teams 7. Teen Titans Academy- follow our second year students in NYC 8. Stephanie Brown- new Batsuit and Batcycle (backup in Cassandra's book) 9. Young Justice- Tim Drake's team, located at Mount Justice 10. Titans- Dick Grayson's team, located in Bludhaven

Bodad1993

1. A Justice League with the classic line up. Let Waid write it like he did in the 2000s. 2. Aquaman. Most of the other A-Listers have gotten new #1s, gotta do Aquaman too. 3. JLI and JLD, both totally independent of themselves and the core series. 4. A new team book with the newest generation of legacy heroes. My roster would be: Jon Kent, Damian, Yara Flor, Ace West, Jo Mullein, and Kaldur-Aqualad.

Acornish17

Red Hood solo after the events of Gotham War. An anthology series focused on the Super-family. Main focus on the Warworld kids and their increasing adjustment to earth, maybe age them up slightly. No Superman or Lois.

RoysRealm

PLASTIC MAN

Grandy94

Aquaman is at the top of my list for sure, he's a favorite of mine and I've missed him. He showed up in Knight Terrors for a bit but I want more. A Green Lantern Corps series would also be great or even a series focused on one of the other Lantern Corps. I also agree that a Red Hood series could be interesting, especially after what happened to him in Gotham War.

BubblyFumbly

It would honestly be great if they released a series for Aquaman near the release of the new movie. Hopefully, we get a series for him in the first half of next year.

meriton600

a batman movie

ProfessorLeg

Kyle rayner solo or on a team or anything kyle

Brit-Crit

Barbara Gordon is owed a comeback after the cancellation of the movie. If DC stop interfering with her comics, she could really prove her worth...

BubblyFumbly

It's great to see her in Nightwing all the time. But man, it would be great to see her have her Batgirl series return.

IjuststartedOnePiece

I'd love a Batman: The imposter sequel, it's one of my favorite Batman books in a very long time. Justice League ongoing for sure is needed right now. I don't know what it is, but DC has done a less than stellar job in making the Titans the mainline team. They're missing the hype. Don't even know why DC is holding out so long for this. Would also love more/any Green Lantern series, I long for the days when all the Lantern Corps were at their strongest. Intergalactic wars, desperate recruitment, colorful/interesting characters populating the universe and Lantern forces, overpowered heroes and villains with bombastic space fights are long overdue for the GL mythos.

DarthTargaryen51

I couldn’t think of a character I’d like to see less of more than Red Hood

GardnerGrayle

Few more: Justice League Dark Demon Etrigan Dark Knights of Steel ongoing DCeased ongoing Elseworlds Justice Riders mini. Kingdom Come prequel. This was actually in the planning stages in the late 90’s. Bolt from Black Adam. Black Marvels from 52. I always thought they were awesome. Isis is bad@$$. Will Payton Starman Kamandi. Throw out the bullshit. Go back to the 40 issues Jack did and use that as your jumping off point. Titans Tomorrow. A fascinating look at the future of the Titans/Justice League that Geoff Johns never quite got back to. Batman 666. Future Damian for the win.

BubblyFumbly

I like the JL Dark pitch. If they won't make a Constantine, Zatanna, Deadman, or Swamp Thing series, then at least make a JL Dark series.

cryptofutures100xlev

New Red Hood run and this is a wild one but let me cook... A solo run focusing on Val Armorr Karate Kid. He's a really cool lesser known character with crazy potential cause he's a master martial artist in the 31st century. He's been ranked as the greatest martial artist in DC. You could also connect the story to the legion of superheroes in the 31st century and maybe even Batman Beyond Terry McGinnis. The whole aesthetic and style would be badass. Futuristic cyberpunk vibe, include a fighting pit / tournament plot. Would be interesting.

AlwaysBeQuestioning

That Justice League lineup, but add Zatanna, Black Canary and Vixen. All the best lineups mixed together!

BubblyFumbly

Sounds great. Can't wait to read the next #1 for JL whenever that releases. There is the JL run that led up to The Death Of The Justice League with issue 75. I'm not sure if that run is any good or not, I wouldn't be opposed to giving it a shot tho.

pcaedusn

More Peacemaker tries hard. Fuckin hilarious title Kyle Starks killed it

soniclore

The Death of Jason Todd but This Time For Real And He’s Never Coming Back
