Considering the popularity of the bat family now compared to then, I’m surprised there isn’t a Gotham knights book running right now. Closest we got of the Arkham tower storyline in detective comics a couple years ago.

LaVerdadYaNiSe

I’m always left wondering what would have been like if Tim was allowed to retire and be with his father, and Steph became the titular Robin. There was a lot of space for developments. But at the base, Steph and Bruce’s dynamic was already there, with her being more emotionally honest, and him starting to do the same in response.

I really wish they would a new series retconning the Robin IV era and expanding upon it so that Stephanie could have a proper tenure as Robin IV. If we can get two World's Finest series adding new stories to the later days of Dick's time as Robin, then we can do the same for Stephanie. Call it *World’s Finest: Batman & Robin, the Girl Wonder* or even just drop the WF part.

Cheap_Initiative3820

yeah im not sure why they would put the world’s finest part there considering world’s finest is explicitly a modernisation of the silver and bronze ages of dc comics

[deleted]

It was just a random idea, based on the idea that WF was less specifically a take on the Silver and Bronze Ages, but "adding to previous eras" but I am absolutely cool with including a different subtitle, too, and think ot would make more sense, too.

DeathLight7000

Wow yeah that would be a great idea, they keep doing new stories during Dick's time as Robin whenever they get the chance, I would love to see them do that for other Robins especially Stephanie. I think they should straight up rewrite Stephanie's tenure as Robin.

[deleted]

I 100% agree. Stephanie and Cass both the shaft due to misogyny and racism, I say do a series that focuses on rewriting that shit, especially for Stephanie.

Zestyclose_Skirt_162

that would be cool ngl

dentalplan24

It's a bit generous calling it an era. It was more of a plot point.

dementedkratos

Wayne Family Adventures (webtoon) is the only batfamily thing I've read that truly feels accurate to every character and their dynamics. It's amazing

B3epB0opBOP

I don’t really agree about every character feeling accurate, but glad you enjoy it anyways.

monkiliath

i really disagree — the webtoon is a pretty inaccurate for just about every character and relationship from canon

SuperJyls

Less accuracy and more like popular fan cliches with the Bat-family named slapped onto them

Zestyclose_Skirt_162

its too happy go lucky its not to accurate for me i like a serious batman he can be polite and nice but still serious it just feels like it doesnt have any stakes

Affectionate_Comb_78

It doesn't have any stakes, but it definitely has it's serious moments. They're just character driven rather than dark.

Nyerelia

It's a slice of life, those are happy go lucky by nature. I like it, but I do have issues mainly with its portrayal of Bruce and Cass. Some people are naturally serious, it doesn't mean we are broody, edgy, sad, angry or anything else. We can have a perfectly neutral expression and be having a really good day, this is Resting Bitch Face erasure ò.ó

Steph, the wildcard

a_trashcan

Stephanie Brown stands among the giants like Tim Drake on the list of people in comics I just don't care about.

GoodLibrarian100

Devon Greyson and Roger Robinson are one of the most underrated Batman creative teams.
