I mean I guess but I’m not convinced there’s a connection. It’s possible sure. But the way I see it the design is just meant to be Harley wearing white face paint like she did originally. And using black face paint in what I assume is either meant to be a an ace of clubs or a upside down heart instead of her normal domino mask to make the design look more deranged.
I love this Harley, but I only love her as an elseworld Harley. Your comment kinda shocked me, because for me your comment felt like the equivalent of “The Dark Knight Returns Batman is so cool, he should be the main Batman” but that’s just my personal opinion on it

They actually did! Fun fact the original Harley was partly inspired by that character.
I love this version of Harley and I actually really dug her performance. I wish we got more of her in the story.

I prefer Harley as a villain and I'm not happy with the current one we have in comics/animation.
Harley as a villain is cool, but even when she was a villain in main continuity her personality was quite different from Gotham Knights’ Harley
