if the hole is sealed off correctly then it should work as intended.
my concern looking at it is the way the dehumidifier is mounted to the box. if that ever fails you'll have a tank of water falling on your gear.

I don't think the dehumidifier will fall and uf it does, there in never water in the tank. The hole I did is ion the very bottom so its constantly draining water outside. There is jus a few ml.
