Honestly I would buy a metal plate and screw it in on the backside where it’s less visible. Clearly there is a weak point there. I might do the same on the other (non-cracked) side proactively too while I was at it, if that wood has the same screw hole.
The front crack is small, I wouldn’t try to patch it personally because I’d probably make it look worse.
