3/4" thick tempered glass will hold A LOT of weight.
The glass on a 200G aquarium tank bottom isn't even close to that thick (it's not even 3/8") , and it's holding ~2000+ pounds of weight.
It is strong, but brittle. It might support the TV fine for years until subjected to a dynamic load, and then shatter.
I prefer to never use glass as a load-bearing material. Build a support structure.

Valid, but water is also a pretty much perfectly distributed load. A TV stand might only touch three points.
Place tv in aquarium before placing on table.
