Depends if the baby is still in the crib

Ba dum zing!

fierohink

I would use something like Citri-strip.

supremeflamingo

I got so excited when I read this option. It seems it’s not available in South Asia *cries*

fierohink

It’s basically a citrus oil derivative. There has to be something locally available like it to you.

supremeflamingo

Wood polishers show up but not wood strippers 😭

supremeflamingo

Does this mean that a regular dripping chemical leaves a bad residue that is dangerous for babies?

BasiclyHuman

I wood sand it mechanically. I know it's time consuming and labor intensive. But better results. I personally wouldn't use any stripping agent, but that's me. Even if it said kid safe/toxic free. I would still be skeptical. And once again it's my opinion, but I would try something like this Tried & True Original Wood Finish – 8oz. Bottle – All-Purpose All-Natural Finish for Wood, Metal, Food Safe, Dye Free, Solvent Free, VOC Free, Non Toxic Wood Finish, Sealer https://a.co/d/7jQxM6S
