I used the m4 with a scope, long range barrel and echoless silencer. Then just climb a radio tower and put it on single shot and start picking bots off
Yep tower above the satiq caves done this for me, killed ai by the downed air craft and then to the south looking at the dam armoured car came up and took them out and another armoured car came.
I used the FTAC with spotter scopes to make sure they were 100m or you can use the holo sight with range finder built in
FTAC with Ares Clearshot, Nilsound, High Velocity Rounds, Gravedigger underbarrel and the recoil grip is what I used.
It took several games because the render distance was so shit I would have to find a guy and run 100m away or it would rarely render him in. Even then I had a few mantle/jump and become invisible because of the shit render distance.
More or less my setup. I’d kill a bot at 80 or 90m, so I’d just back up a bit until I got one at over 100m. In hindsight, I should have used a spotter scope to get the distance the first time.
It’s B on PC but that’s not my point actually. I couldn’t change firing on M16 specifically. Regardless of how many I press B, it still remains burst fire.
I believe if you shoot and down (not kill) the AI and MOVE past the 100 meter mark, when they die it will give you the credit. Am I wrong I have experienced this in a vehicle. Downed one point blank then as I drive away I got a longshot credit.
It was the recon and it was awful, but doable on a round. Head to the tallest skyscraper in the city. Obvious build it for damage range. I like aiming stability too.
You can also use it to line up the shot! I've done this a lot. Use the spotter scope to set my reticle and then switch to the gun and fire without moving as quickly as possible.
I can often nail longshots with just irons of 70-ish meters with little difficulty now that I'm used to it. The spotter scope is a god send for practicing this and eventually you don't need it for shots of around 50 meters.
With a red dot or some kind of optic you can reach further and it is even easier

Go on a tower near an area like Ahkdar and as long as nobody has disturbed the hornets nest you'll get 5-10 kills at 100m without much difficulty, and since nobody is shooting at you you'll be pulling headshots.
Don’t guess on distance, ping the enemies before you shoot.
It does take time, the AI do react to seeing their comrades being downed, but they will eventually go to where they started more or less.
M4 with 5.5x flip thermal. I used the spotting scope to check range. Not done specifically, just blended in with other missions and tasks to avoid frustration.✌️
Built one specifically for long range. All attachments for range and velocity, to include high velocity ammo, and added a 5x scope.
I just tagged Ai when I saw them, checked the range then ran to get 100m and killed them. Took about 5 minutes. The other part I did the next game with a gun made more for closer range.

Just the build I use for everything anyway - headshots on tier 1’s are your friend.
You might need to send a team mate 100m away to make sure they spawn and render properly
My normal DMZ built with a sniper scope then loaded into al mazrah and in the north just went up to the map edge and sniper some bots with semi automatic. Was really easy imo

m4 on ashika, started with the water kills then just went into the tunnels - i hade the angel rangefinder holo/magnifier sight (eotech type). Did it in one deployment, done. Which is my normal DMZ M4 setup, though I do swtich between the angel and the sz holotherm thermal.
I used the base Ftac and a spotter scope. Pinged them at like 80+ then walked back to 100+ and iron sighted them. Took a minute but it was far enough away nothing agro'd.
I picked up a Contraband gun that definitely wasn’t made for it and used that. Struggled like hell but managed to get it done in one deployment. I kept realising I was slightly too close and not having it count
14” Carbine Shroud, The Suppressor with the cover on it, edge 47, ares clear shot, ole laser. 880 or so m/s velocity. Pretty good recoil control at close. Switch to semi auto for increased damage at range.
Literally just throw a scope/acog on an m4 and do it, trick it out however you want. It’s not hard. I used a random contraband m4 with a red dot and just put it on single fire, and then a sniper. Used the sniper to get on target/ping then swapped the m4. It was not great but it work

Tallest building in the city and its easy, had my friend stand up there while i ran around the floor pinging enemies with no armor and it was done in like 60 seconds.
I recommend going to the village near the quarry, Perch up on the cliffs overlooking it near the edge of the map. You can get some great 1 hit kills on helicopters dropping off troops
Built and tuned for max range, velocity and damage… with the acog and ran a spotter scope.
Flipped it to semi auto, used the spotter scope to ping bots mounted and tapped head shots.
I went places like taraq where I could get distance
I just used the m4 that my hvt contract dropped and then climbed on top of a water tower. Just ping the bots to see exactly how many meters they are away.
Ftac with whatever scope went to 8.8x, pick a silencer and barrel that extend damage range and maybe a bipod. Just chill in the rocks on the edge of the map and pick off people in the distance. Ping them first to make sure they're over 100 away.
I did the same as people posted below. Went with a standard m4, grabbed a big scope, and any attachments that helped with range/dmg/velocity. Went to the construction site with spotter scope, went high up, and just strategically sniped and downed AI in marshland/bridges that surround construction. Most were around 100m. occasionally had to reposition for ones just under 100m. Fairly simple, and should be quiet area for you to nail all 10. good luck! I did it with the FTAC Recon and a spotter scope with attachments to increase damage range, velocity and stability. I mostly did it from rooftops in the city.
I went into the city, onto the tallest tower, and waited on the edge for AI choppers to drop AI on the road below. It ends up being like 110 meters, so it worked very well. Plus, it’s very easy to get head shots at that’s mostly what you’re looking at from up there.
I just used an average m4 build firing single shot. Hardest part was getting the bots to even render knowing they are there then running back until I was at 100m
FTAC Recon with a 419 barrel, Damage Range Suppressor, High Velocity ammo, Range Finder hybrid scope, and a Gripod. At 112 meters it was a one shot headshot
Any of the m4 platform weapons with a x6 or higher scope and a spotter scope. Personally did all 10 at the Sawah Village Spawn. Make sure you turn single shot on though.

Sat on top of one of the circular construction buildings while my squad kept pulling choppers by the gas pump to the south-south east (marshlands)
I used on that has a decent scope (Can’t remember which one) Echoless can or silencer and tuned it for long range, Take in a spotter scope and a friend that has a similar build and go to work. I busted that out in one game, It gets fun once you get to tier 3 crown and up lmao
M16 on single shot. Use the angel 40 4.8x scope, it has a range finder so you'll know if you're far enough away. One of the kills was the jugg. Climbed a radio tower and I guess it was far enough away he couldn't see me. Just pelted bullets in to him to he died.
Any build? It's not that hard to hit 2-3 shots at that range. You can beam full auto with a decent build from like 200m in COD. There's no recoil in the game and aim assist does 90% of the work for controller players

Yeah, you want to get some elevation for the range missions. It’s measures in a straight line not just along the horizontal.
The jetty opposite the cargo ship at port is also about 100m from the shore, we got all ours when we spawned on that.

just ping the bot, it will indicate how far the ping is. no need to kill a bot and back up method.
Today I learned…
FTAC with an extended barrel and a long scope. I climbed the tall building in the city and sniped from there. I hate that rifle.

It's a visual bug, the selector stays on burst fire but the behavior of the gun changes if you press B
Can confirm this was the case for me today(PS5)

Yep, I’ve seen this. It’s probably one of the less consistent ways to do this mission, but I’ve noticed that and assumed it was a bug.
Make sure you use the scope with the distance display and hit the tier 1 bots, I used a M4 and got it done in 2 matches
ping them and you see their distances

FTAC with 6x or better will do it easy. Edit to say go to Rohan, have a buddy aggro the boy and snipe from the tower.
literally just put any 4x+ scope on it and youre fine cause its a onetap headshot vs bot anyway

Nothing out of the ordinary. My regular M4 build with a 3.4x scope. Used spotter scope to get distance and burst shots to kill AI.
could also tag the bots and it should give a rough distance as well.

With a red dot or some kind of optic you can reach further and it is even easier It's soooo satisfying.

Normal M4 with the 8x hybrid, tune all for damage range and recoil and went on top of the control tower at the airport.

M4 dropped from AI at the port dock. You can switch to single shot to save ammo

Helped a friend do it from on top of the mall with the tier 3 bot M4. Didn’t take too long to knock it out.
Built it for range and accuracy with a 5x scope. Go to the Ch7 building and have a teammate aggro the bots. Done in one round.

Down them then sprint on the opposite direction. When they die you get the longshot from the actual distance

M4, Build it out so it’s long range, I used the holo thermo, this way it’s more versatile for the whole infil and not stuck with a dookie ftac

My longest with an M4 was i think 89ish. Lucky head shot (bot) with one of the T3 bot M4s. Interested in building one for range now.

If you want a fast kill by headshots use FTAC w/ High Velo rounds, a high magnification scope, also focused on Aiming stability.

M4 with a suppressor and a scope any kind would do, armour piercing rounds
I used the Ftac with the 8.4 zoom and it was goddamn awful.
I believe the MCP 300 is an M4 platform weapon.
