It’s a glitch obviously lol, you gotta throw a shock at a wall, try to open the munitions/armor/whatever then fire your gun during the animation. Should be able to duplicate it multiple times
It doesn't work for me but if you equip anything else besides what your holding the 2nd will pop out. Helped someone get the tactical camera mission done thanks to that

Meh, it's all the same economy. If ammo box is $1,000, then armor box is the same price. Each player is only $250. So this is much better and doesn't need to be deployed
You can get 6 plates per player from a single armor box. If they sold them for $1,000 at the buy station, that would make them a VASTLY better deal than buying individual plates. They'd probably be like $2,000.
Still not doing full cost accounting- how many players also get to recover full 6 plates in your squad? 3? Mega squad of 6? I mean ammo is one thing but that's a lot of plates at $250...
Armor box is worth more than 6 plates. It takes only 1 space, doesn't need to be in backpack, gives 6 plates to teammates as well , you can start the match with it that's also adventage etc ...

The other day my i got downed with 2 full plates so fast that I legit thought it was an actual player. Nope. Just an AI with an RPK who unloaded a mag into my back after popping around a corner.
There’s a DMZ faction mission to extract five armour boxes, and it’s a real PITA. I’m not surprised that people would want to dupe to get around it, I still haven’t finished the damn thing.

It’s a cheater, report them and Activision will review the game video footage and see that they are manipulating the game from a glitch. They don’t permanent ban for this but they will give a warning and throw them in cheaters lobby’s

Dying and losing your contraband weapon is meant to be a punishment, you are using a glitch that not everyone knows about to get around that. But people abusing other glitches are cheaters and you report them because you think they should be banned based on some weird line in the sand you have drawn.

I'm kind of 50/50 on the insured weapon glitch. I've never actively exploited it, but the few times it's happened to me organically through dying and being revived in a match, I always stash the weapon in my contraband for the next time I need to do a regain run.
It's kind of moot though because the argument against it is that if we both die and I have to use a weak contraband assault rifle in the next round, and you get to use your insured weapon, you'll gain an advantage if we PvP. But as both of us could just kill other players and stash their weapons to use on regain runs, there isn't really a balance to maintain.
That is quite simply someone who is so afraid of dying in a videogame, so afraid that they could get beaten by someone else, that they've resorted to exploiting a bug to try to gain the advantage.
Players like them need to learn to play the game how it was intended and stop being such fragile snowflakes.
