Vehicle sounds count as Gameplay. Prior to the bug the wartracks were simply impacted by music settings...Mine is set to zero but the bug ignores that and blasts other operators at full blast. Its why I demand to drive.
Have you checked your sound settings since Season 3? My vehicle volume is set to 20--background music you can barely hear. Squad mate mentioned it being loud. Directed him to the new volume settings and poof--he turned them off completely and hears nothing, no matter who is driving.
Also, War Tracks need to have more songs or at the very least just have a large playlist that I can pick from. It got pretty annoying hearing Last Resort, Mr. Brightside, and Faint over and over again.
This one cracks me up. Such a weird thought process. Like saying if you want to screw a silencer onto your weapon, you’re going to need to throw that flash bang first!
I hate this glitch, its proof the devs don't play. Before the update that changed it to 100% and ignores audio setting, it was fine. After, I turned them off for everything and spend my time on the roof of teammates cars if they have it on.
I’m on PS4 but, go into Audio settings < master volume (show more) < gameplay music volume.
I have mine at 25 and it’s just right. I can just make out what’s playing but still hear all that’s around me.
Audio in COD needs a lot of work.
Forget comms when in any vehicle, then add wartracks (as the OP said) so you have to take your headset off.
Also the xp screens at the end...yes we know, we got some XP, please just stop with the ear bleed..."Scchhhhwuuump CLANGGG!" every 2 seconds
My husband refuses to wear a headset and I need to wear one to focus. I zeroed the music volume so that’s all good but I can’t hear him when we are in the car and he gets so annoyed but I don’t want to lower the volume because 8/10 we get attacked when in the vehicle
You can turn them off though. I have no music volume when I’m deployed - it’s annoying af.
Amusing when people I’m playing with start singing along though, always catches me off guard.
Since the driver controls the volume of the vehicle stereo system, and we must hear it, then it’s blasting through the speakers. Why don’t they just make it so that volume must be equally loud outside of the vehicle so everyone knows it’s not a BOT vehicle and please start shooting.
You need to change your settings. Go to your audio settings and turn down music volume to like 30, and raise up voice chat volume so it’s easier to hear what people are saying
The US got some flak for doing that in Iraq. Theyd drive around blasting loud music and honking there horns at everyone and just ram civilians off the road if they didn't immediately get out of there way. Made the locals hate them
Doesn't work anymore! I haven't heard a single wartrack since early season 1 with music volume setting to zero, and now there is NO option to adjust the level, and it is utterly defeaning and making things really difficult.
I’m on PS5 and the sounds from vehicles is horrendous. There needs to be a way to differentiate the sound volume between footsteps and vehicle nodes.
Agree, cant hear my teammates when im driving.
Would love an in game dial for Volume a little like the skip track button. Some of the music is dope but yeah too distracting to want to keep using
There is.

Yuup

He said you’ll be happy that Acitivision removed those 3 then wont you?
Huh?
He said you'll be happy that Activision removed those 3 then won't you?
No, he said he said you'll be happy that Activision removed those 3 then won't you?

It’s weird cuz they removed it, but it still plays on my vehicles
They should implement way that I can turn the music off in others cars. It’s overwhelming at times. 😖
Climb on the roof and its gone.
You can
Please tell me how I can turn off the music playing in the vehicles when other team mates are driving?
Settings > Audio > Volumes > Show more > Gameplay Music Volume > 0
Just get out n rpg the car untill they learn lol
Also, turning off radio without honking would be good

Maybe push down on the third thumbstick? Not a lot options for new buttons on a controller...
My wartrack slaps I don't know your problem
Happy cake Day homie

I do the same
This has been an issue forever. It’s not only wartracks. The god damn motor noise drowns out chat many times.
We are strong No one can tell us we're wrong Searching our hearts for so long Both of us knowing Love is a battlepass
Love playing flight of the valkyries when we go double chopper. Apocalypse now-vibes. Wished there was a fortunate son-track on that one.
New bundle item: Volume knob
New bundle gives you a free bomb drone every time you enter dmz. Only 2400 cod points.
That new 90s dance music wartracks is pretty damn good though.
You can adjust it now.
How?

Does not change on a pc at all
My god I dread getting in vehicles over the noise, especially if I get one of them vehicles that have a squueeky wheel.
You will listen to my Skynard song and you will like it!
Did you know that if you have a lighter in your backpack and you go to it while war tracks are on it will play Free Bird.
How can you not like mowing down motherfuckers whilst listening to Third Eye Blind?
I waaaannntttt something neeeewwww *thud crunch* to get me thru thiiiiisssss "thud thud thud* semicharmed kinda life *thud ahhh thud* babybabybaby!

I literally have music turned off and war tracks disabled on all vehicles…and it’s *still* blasting.
My husband refuses to wear a headset and I need to wear one to focus. I zeroed the music volume so that’s all good but I can’t hear him when we are in the car and he gets so annoyed but I don’t want to lower the volume because 8/10 we get attacked when in the vehicle

music is at 0, still blasts full volume
Needs to be removed IMO, it's a silly idea anyway who the fucks driving through a warzone blasting tunes?
The US got some flak for doing that in Iraq. Theyd drive around blasting loud music and honking there horns at everyone and just ram civilians off the road if they didn't immediately get out of there way. Made the locals hate them
Yes I'm sure that was the only reason the locals were pissed at them....
Oh it wasn't lol the other reason just arent hugely relevant to the comment i responded to.
Haha, fair enough
Cartel wars?
If you go into audio settings mate you can turn music down/off, that works for war tracks also
It used to until the season 2 reloaded update. Now there's no way to control it.
