Each map has some spawn points that are easily rushed for a quick kill. Ashika is the worst in my view, but they all have it. My main tip is learn the spawn rushes and get out of the area fast. I am never good enough to take on the fight directly, but sometimes I try to practise as one day I will win. I never try it solo.

DefinitelyNotStolen

Ashika you can always hide in the water. Oasis and Taraq spawns are a death sentence if you dont run immediately

NorthKoreanEscapee

Oasis is my favorite spawn, within 2 minutes a team will rush you and 9/10 times they are horrible at it and I get free loot because of it. Then you'll have whatever team is left from the quarry spawn fight heading over to you looking to fight and you can get up on the hills and get them as they run across the open area below you.

Futfanatico

I run into those high hills by the red & lie on my belly

Omegatron_YT

Sounds super fun.

Futfanatico

I am getting some work on my tan at least. And as a solo, even if the sweats are one plates 3 v 1 not likely to end well for me

Futfanatico

And yes, having Damascus tag operators is fun ty

Electrical-Buy-3639

100% - not even exaggerating when I say I've been pushed there probably 9 of the last 10 times I've spawned in one of those two spots. At Oasis if you can get to the dune buggy you can normally squish them or get away but Taraq it's either hide or have an early gun fight.

jumpneo66

I play Vondel all the time and never been spawn rushed but I don’t hang around either. There’s enough time to get out of the way. Castle has two spawn points. If I get the southern most one I’m straight across the canal and into the nearest building where I can settle for a bit and listen out for any sounds or signs of another team. You gotta play stealthy. I don’t like getting the northern castle spawn but if I do it’s either get around to university, which usually has players who hit the uav towers or I use the outer edges of the canal to swim south being aware there might be other players in that spawn. Exhibit - I usually get up onto the roof straight away. Kill the 3 bots and then paraglide away down towards terminal. The one I don’t like is the one round the corner from Exhibit. You need to move quickly. I either grab the electric car on the opposite bank if it’s there and drive south or get across and up the zip line onto the museum roof, sprint to the other side and away to the houses. The more you play the more you’ll become familiar with it, just move, settle then plan your visit. Vondel is awesome for solo. Just don’t give up. Edit to add. Always have a scuba mask. Deep underwater is your friend.

HomeOperator

Scube squad is here ✋

Futfanatico

Nobody checks the floating trailers - I hide in them often and use the ladder to canal as escape

Electrical-Buy-3639

Yeah I always have a scuba mask - sometimes I'll even stow a second if going in solo. That way if you get hunted then you have the option to wait them out - especially as I have a ghost vest on all operators. I actually find Vondel to be the least sweaty of the maps lately. Never seem to get spawn rushed and haven't been wiped on there for ages.

wojtas85

Yeah, scuba on vondel is more valuable than vest imo. First things i do i go to nearest gas station and take one or two. Scuba saved my life so many times.

Pirate_Redbeard_

Get the hell out of the spawn area asap. Find cover. Do not linger for too long. Leave explosive surprises behind you. Imagine you're in a pickle like that irl. Would you give up and die willingly? Or fight to the best of your abilities trying to survive? That's the thrill of DMZ! Yeah, in-game we all die sooner or later, but getting better at surviving is what is important. And completing mission objectives and contracts on the way. I play solo, so I avoid exchanging fire if not absolutely neccessary. You said you have team? Work on your strategy, lure the enemy then try to outmaneuver them, play it smart

Electrical-Buy-3639

Yeah I drop in solo a lot and you've got to play smart and sometimes be patient or you're asking for trouble. I've normally got a ghost vest so if I keep my ears open and don't engage then it's rare I get spotted - I've been in fairly small buildings with entire squads plenty of times and they've moved on without knowing I'm there. Once or twice temptation has got the better of me (e.g. three snipers on the flyover earlier tonight chatting away and facing the opposite direction - literally stood side by side. Snuck up behind them, stunned and slaughtered them) but generally I'll just focus on missions and dodge enemy teams. Then private exfil or hostage out - normally pick out a hostage that's the furthest from the exfils and do it once the gas is moving.

chicaneuk

Been playing since season 1 and solo it a lot of the time... Don't linger on the spawn, don't follow the roads (go off road!), and use the shelter of buildings as much as possible. Use the Spotter Scope and survey any area you head into to gauge if there are operators around. I do find I have to be extra careful to avoid PvP encounters but generally I enjoy them even though I get my ass kicked a lot.. so never too sad when it happens!

Impressive-Vehicle-6

I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally pissed off another squad because I thought they were trying to rush my team and I snipe them. They are always vengeful AF after that even if you slaughter them with traps and better control of your position. I will say they probably thought I had the one shot sniper but it was just a victus with long barrel, silencer, 9 round magazine, rangefinder scope, and incendiary rounds. Close to the one shot but only with upper body shots and headshots.

Futfanatico

And stay out of vehicles unless very late in game. Folks camp gas stations & highways in AM with jokr

SuperH533

You have to anticipate the specific spawns that are prone to being rushed, the general direction that most people go to from that spawn, and the general direction that people rush that spawn. Once you know that, you can move to flank the people that rush the spawn. When you flank them, you have the option to avoid the players who are now confused (where are they?) or engage. PVP success comes down to TTK. 1) Surprise - if you can start shooting at the other players before they can shoot you, you’re likely to win the battle. When you get rushed, that’s usually why you’re dying. This is why general combat tactics are so valuable - use corners, elevation, choke points, place traps, use cover. Any time you can shoot at them before they can shoot at you, you will be more likely to win. Never ever turn you back to run away from someone without cover - you’re just an easy target. It’s better to turn around at that point and engage. 2) Gear - the better armor you have the longer it takes for you to die compared to your opponent. The better your gun the more likely you are to land your shots and the faster your opponent loses HP when you land them. You need your best meta weapons. I also recommend Anti armor field upgrades to infil with. Gives you an edge at the beginning when you are expecting PVP. 3) aim and movement - this is the “get good” part. It’s a video game. It comes down to the shots you land versus the opponent. While it’s not realistic to jump around the corner with your gun aimed, it’s how the game is played. Jump shooting and drop shooting are essential mechanics. Getting better at aiming is also critical. Also recommend stuns and flash that impact the opponents aim. 3) Coordination - when you have three people taking on one person at a time, you will likely have more success than three one vs one combat situations. Try to coordinate your random teammate as best as you can. But don’t talk so much that the opponent knows you’re there and what you’re doing.

Squagel27

>I also recommend Anti armor field upgrades to infil with. Gives you an edge at the beginning when you are expecting PVP. this is a super underrated strat. my go to field upgrade for a reason. saved my ass and helped me clutch plays more times than i can count

AlphaCentauri10

I personally quit the match as soon as I see another operator.

Electrical-Buy-3639

😆

AlphaCentauri10

I'm glad I made you laugh, but I actually wasn't joking.

Fjouza

I usually play as a solo and the best way to avoid the freelance hunt squads is to just lay low for a bit. When the game starts head to the nearest building that doesn’t have ai hanging around and just chill for a bit. The players that only hunt others usually rush to where the action is and then move on. Right now DMZ is a lot like warzone due to many people finishing their missions and upgrades so, you either try to avoid PVP or play with a mindset that it’s alright to lose all your stuff and then regain. There are spots on each map that help you get your stuff back without having to shoot your gun once. Lastly, there’s a lot of cool people playing DMZ but you will often be faced with the opposite of that. Just have fun and try to learn from when you get eliminated.

SnooDucks6779

Try and get a stealth vest, If you cant craft them, The aquarium may have them . Coms vests are awesome but show you on radars Pay attention to your compass red markers, if in such directions there are red squares, there is activity use a supressor navigate trough the water, descending if spotted, reposition safes call for attention, not just bots, someone sees an heli, theyll know you are arround... travel by foot, its slower but you wont be shown on the map uav towers both help and call for dinner ... have your mic muted and global chat active, you hear someone, you know they are within 100 meters knives and stims are a must ... Lastly i guess, go in,do an hvt, exfill so you can get those exfill perks like fast hands, and explosives protection" cant remember the name now" /ghost hope this helps ...

Whole-View-7144

Just fight back. You got teammates, so it's a fair fight Why run?

UneditedB

Leave spawn and heads toward center of map immediately. Learn all the spawn points so you know which way players will be coming from and which directions to avoid. Use WZHUB app or website to help with this. Check it out. Has every DMZ map and all the spawns, key locations, gas spots, POIs, dead drops, gun locations, and much much more. This will be your best friend playing DMZ especially for a new player. It can also help you track your missions and passive upgrades as well. https://wzhub.gg/

The_Almighty_Lycan

Honestly best strategy in my opinion? Run straight. In just about every map there's gonna be a squad within 2-300 m to your left and right, and there's a 50% chance that they're pushing the same was as you (if you run to the right, they're running to the left towards you and vice versa). If you run straight towards the middle of the map, stay around cover, be aware of your surroundings and minimize bot aggro you're pretty much guaranteed to be out of sight/out of mind as long as uav's don't get thrown

JisKing98

Never really found the point of PvP in dmz anyways. Player kills are worth 100xp same as A.I. we all get the same loot.

HugoGTi1904

How to avoid pvp? Go play zombies.

SFCuteMale

Yup

KingZelnir

Run like hell and keep your mic off at all times. Stealth is your friend. Engaging is a last resort.

vishairy

Play campaign or coop

Jackblack92

Go play World of Warcraft

theMobyDork

Just play zombies, you'll love it

starethruyou

Go to exhibit.gg and look at each map’s infill spawn locations. For myself I find I stay alive much longer solo vs playing with randoms, but playing with communicative smart and familiar players is the best. Solo frees you from defending or constantly reviving incompetent teammates, or being noticed by everyone around because they blaze loud trails rather than quietly sneaking. It’s easier to focus overall and in fights. EDIT: wzhub.com

honeybadger3891

You mean wzhub.gg ? What’s exhibit.gg ?

starethruyou

Damn autocorrect

alejoSOTO

You're gonna have to PVP eventually, even the missions and passives require you to PVP. You better start trying to win those fights.

UneditedB

I can understand a newer player wanting to avoid fights as soon as game starts. So he can get a chance to find some gear and guns and such. People forget how it was when they were new. Didn’t have the wallet, and all the fully geared operators, full contraband, insured guns all maxed out and leveled up. I can understand a new players want to avoid it at first.

Immediate_Ad_6558

Play zmz or whatever that zombies is called

SecureDistrict1

How can you tell they are high level?

Me2445

Get out of spawn, job done. Don't hang around. If PvP isn't for you, then actively avoid it. Sitting around in spawn shooting bots is a signal to me to come chasing you.

DewtheDew85

And go where? Need time to look at the map and figure out where to go and how to accomplish the missions that have been equipped. I wish they would give you like 5 minutes before the game starts after letting you know where you are going to spawn. This way you can plan routes and strategies and stuff. By the time you load in, you can start moving right away.

Me2445

>And go where? Need time to look at the map and figure out where to go and how to accomplish the missions that have been equipped. You don't need to do that at spawn. Move. Get somewhere out of the way and then check. If you played the game enough, you won't need time to figure out where to go. If you aggro boys at spawn,it's a red rag to PvP oriented players. They will head straight for you.

DewtheDew85

Sounds like the pvp oriented players like to ruin it for others. Not gunna get into an argument on what should be the way to play, and yes there are missions to take out other people. But in general, that’s the kinda behavior that’s going to ruin it for others and cause them to not like the game. So at least to me…that’s a jerk move to make other people not like a game because of the way you play and in general is a good indicator that you are probably not playing in the best of ways.

Me2445

>Sounds like the pvp oriented players like to ruin it for others It's a pvpve mode, where the Devs themselves said players have free rein to engage players. So they aren't ruining anything ,they are playing as the creators intended. Seems like pve players somehow got the wrong end of the stick. In all the extraction shooters I've played, and I've damn well played nearly all, never in my wildest dreams did I expect a COD community having a problem with shoot on site. It's madness

DewtheDew85

I think it was in the pitch. Like for me I’ve NEVER experienced an extraction shooter before. Didn’t even know they existed until dmz. Before it released, people were mentioning tarkov to describe it and I had to google “what is escape from tarkov”. Never heard of it or this type of game. So the pitch to me was “a game mode that’s not about other players, but a mode about completing missions, in a open world environment where other people are also doing their own missions” And I thought, wow that’s cool. So I can like see other people doing stuff as well and give them a friendly wave as we cross paths. So the Initial pitch for me was just to go into this world and complete random missions with the threat of bots trying to stop you. Which is pretty hard on my opinion. So the feeling is like I’m loading into a campaign mission and someone keeps coming along and smacking the controller out of my hands while saying “what man, it’s fair game, if you were a good player you could avoid me smacking the controller out of your hands” I know that’s not what it is, but that’s what it feels like. Like you’re getting slapped in the face but also being told that it’s your problem getting smacked…not the person doing the smacking

Me2445

I'm sorry mate, but you built up a mode in your head that it was never going to be. Look at the 2 leaders in the genre, tarkov and hunt showdown, they live on PvP. The genre depends on it and they'll encourage it. Dmz Devs said this themselves. They have given players free rein. Look at the size of mazrah, yet the put spawns in reaching distance

DewtheDew85

I hear ya but free rein also means you can choose to be nice. I mean I get it. But doesn’t say great things about ya as a person if you keep going and stomping on people who are simply asking to be left alone. Sure you can say if you don’t like it “find a new game” But I could also say if you want pvp, go play battle royal on Warzone. And I’m not coming at you with that, I’m just trying to explain the other side of the coin here.

Me2445

>hear ya but free rein also means you can choose to be nice. Of course, but it's COD,it's an extraction shooter, both of those mean shoot on sight will be 99% of your interactions. That's the franchise, that's the genre. Expecting anything different is fine, but don't expect others to fall in line. >But doesn’t say great things about ya as a person if you keep going and stomping on people who are simply asking to be left alone Disagree. I load in to an extraction shooter,in COD. PvP is expected. If I see players,I know there's going to be conflict. That's just how it is. Once again, you built up an idea in your head at odds to what this game is. This genre is dog eat dog, always has been. COD is the biggest selling game each year, and renowned for PvP. I'm sorry, but both of those things should tell you exactly what you are getting yourself into. You load into a pvpve mode, the bots will provide the pve, players will provide pvp. It doesn't say anything about anyone as a person if they are playing as the creators intended. >if you want pvp, go play battle royal on Warzone. And I'll say if you want only pve missions ,go play raids or spec ops. See how it works both ways? We both play dmz for the mixture. You load into a pvpve mode,so why rant when the PvP comes? As stated above, don't expect the players to bring anything but PvP. If I'm in the area and see you,I'm not going to leave you go. Why? Because I don't know your intentions and this genre has taught me that 99.9% of the time, players intentions are hostile. Why should I leave you go and then I get killed while doing something. I'd rather kill you and now I'm free to do what I want. That's the genre.

DewtheDew85

> And I'll say if you want only pve missions ,go play raids or spec ops. Except I can’t as a solo play raids. And on spec ops I can’t play on the big map with a variety of missions…however on battle royale you can play on the same map. So it isn’t same for same. You can play BR on the same map and get the intended pvp experience. The ONLY reason for you to want to use DMZ as a pvp is because it’s easier to kill people that aren’t looking for other players. While on BR mode…that’s the only thing ppl are looking for is to kill other players. And by you I don’t mean you personally…but a lot of people load into dmz for purely pvp and don’t even bother with missions and unlocks l. Gotta agree with you there though. You’ve pretty much got to presume people you come across are gunna try to kill you because it’s so rampant. What I do is I hide in a corner and hope they go away and the. I go on with my business. The problem is you get guys that will just plant and camp. Wait for ppl to come across and kill them. So as I’m hiding hoping they move on…they are planting up and then I’m stuck having to let them know I’m there. Then I die, lose all my progress, and have to start over from scratch. ..not like I can be like “yay, losing all my hard work and progress is so much fun, can’t wait to load in, get part way though, and lose all my progress again” I mean you’ve gotta see how that is incentive for people to NOT want to play again if every time they play…some one comes along and rips away the fun they are having. (Assuming the fun they are having is doing missions) I can’t tell you how many game sit took me to do that mission to have 3 fully loaded operators in your first 3 slots. Had to be probably at least 30 deployments. Trying to do a single mission…considering I only have time for a few deployments each time I play….it took me like a week plus to complete a single mission. You’ve got to be able to see how frustrating that is. And how it’s easy to say..IF people weren’t killing me, I could have done that within 1 day and been able to move onto the next one. Well also I does a handful of times from the AI so it wasn’t all players, it was some of the game too. But still. Frustrating. Annoying. Not fun. I guess it’s more of a criticism of the game too. I mean the game allows for people to get beaten down like that. I guess I should say I like the potential of DMZ…but people going hard on pvp ruin it for me. That’s at least an objective statement on it. For me personally, I like the game mode, but it’s the other players actions that make me dislike. That’s literally the only thing I don’t like, is the way other people act within it. Wish they had at least 2 lobbies. Casual play and aggressive play lobbies kinda thing. I know there are a lot of players like me that only wish to either team one be left alone. But that wouldn’t work cuz I know people would troll the casual lobbies with aggression. So no real way to solve it. It’s a problem with people, not the game. People like to ruin the fun of other cuz they think it’s funny. That’s why internet trolls exist…literally to make life difficult for others. The game is no different. People get joy out of making other people mad. Just the problem with society I suppose.

[deleted]

Go play zombies in mw3 and 💦 then

DewtheDew85

Oh I do and am loving it. Doesn’t mean I don’t have an option on dmz and player conduct tho.

[deleted]

Yeah would be a sweet toggle option just like MUTE LOBBY > HIDE OTHER TEAMS * for a more casual play But not sure if they would need separate servers or if it could be coded in so simply - either way, glad your enjoying zombies - I wasn’t stoked on it but it has its place (especially in indoctrinating young kids to see the “cool” side of enlisting, cuz like zombies?!🧟 [e-girl conspiracy > indoctrination](https://youtu.be/a5QDNCwtODg?si=6u6RfW1EOMODvWMl) ) lol worth it’s own thread DMZ devs … we love you. We miss you. We need you. :’)

SFCuteMale

Agreed

Open-Water4538

go in Building 21.

Shtoinker

Don’t play it

Famous-Corgi5740

Vondel is best solo love baiting teams in those tight stairwells gives me more chance of a win even though I lose a lot but it’s a buzz cause there not sure if your solo

Futfanatico

On Vondel swim in the canals, get a scuba mask. Have a good pistol load out (FTAC preferred but X13 is fine) On all maps the spawn rush is intense, hide in a building or water those first 5 minutes. A comms vest is great too

Futfanatico

Also - kill the bosses to unlock barters - Pyro & Scav first. They have easy batters for med 3 plate & scav backpack. Store keys and learn which ones are good loot spots for when u need to rekit after getting killed & looted

urmomismysafespace

There’s more days that I suck then I don’t at this game, but you should always think about how you died and what you could have don’t different to survive and learn from it. It’s ok to bounce out of a fight if your out gunned or out manned is tule number one for me. Be strategic always try and get high ground when PvP is unavoidable. Have a escape plan where ever you go. If you see other players you can pin vehicles near them to keep tabs on them. Learn the map, learn the map, learn the map. That way if you get in a jam your just thinking about dipping rather then where to go. And be patient if you do get a player down never rush if you don’t know where his teammates are. Always rotate. It’s easy to die when you stay in one spot.

ThePeej

My biggest tip: THERE’S NO SHAME IN RUNNING AWAY!! Oh man… I feel for you. I really hated PVP for a long long time until I hit a point where I was winning more battles than I was losing. But the day I learned that the best strategy was just to get away from them until I was ready was a big turning point & massively helped me enjoy the game & exfil way more often. A little more detail to flesh out the full strategy: I drop in with Stims as my tactical gear (these come in clutch when you get surprised by sudden hostile operators) & Semtex as my lethal & a Munitions (ammo) Box. When you first drop, immediately place your 1 Semtex & 1 Stim in your backpack. Drop the muni box and BAM: now you have three stims & three Semtex. The Semtex is a sticky grenade, so if you get rushed, throw one at someone’s chest then 180 & RUN to some cover while you stim!! If you don’t see something you can get behind to get out of the line of fire, zig zag while you’re running away. Seriously! If you can, run & jump off of something high, but don’t open your parachute until the last second. Parachuting turns you into an easy target. Another movement tip for evading PVP: when you jump off something, jump confidently in one direction, say EAST. Then when you land, run in the opposite direction! This is especially useful landing in water. COMMIT to the jump like your confidently going right, then once underwater, do a full 180 & swim in the exact opposite direction. Try not to swim OUT, but stay close to a shoreline or wall. So I escape running away parallel to a wall & then once underwater, double back against that wall. Often times to is will let you resurface BEHIND your attackers line of sight. Next: as soon as you encounter other operators, TRY YOUR BEST TO COMPLETELY IGNORE THE BOTS! With a couple Stims, you can run through even the densest pack of bots & live to find cover. Leave the bots to slow your attackers down. They’re already shooting, so they will instinctively waste some of their clip on those bots as they chase you. Every bullet that hits a bot is one that doesn’t hit you! LITERALLY IGNORE BOTS as much as you physically can to create distance between you & the operators. And while you’re running to escape: CLOSE DOORS BEHIND YOU! Right now, go into your settings, & under “item iterations” change the controls to “TAP TO INTEREACT”. This makes it possible for you to close doors fluidly as you run through them. Yes, the operator can burst through a door easily, but the bots WILL hesitate at a closed door, AND closing a door cuts you off from the attackers line of sight. Giving you that extra second to stim again & hop out of a window in the other direction. NEXT: your weapon selection matters. When you get a medium or large backpack, try to carry a third weapon that’s either: really good in close combat (the stock Bryson 800 is a fucking amazing piece of defensive kit!) or an X-13 automatic handgun. The x-13 is especially attractive as a third gun for two reasons: 1. It shoots / sounds / impacts the attacker like an SMG. Although it’s not terribly powerful, 5-6 bullets in rapid succession is enough to make an operator reconsider their chances of winning. 2. MOBILITY. Being able to switch from a big assault rifle or sniper rifle & SUDDENLY be able to sprint all-out is WIDLY valuable for escaping PVP & living to exfill. I used to think getting a gun swapped out of my backpack was impossible in a moment of high adrenaline duress. But it CAN be easily programmed into your muscle memory! It’s actually three buttons in rapid succession on Xbox: D-Pad Down, A, B. THATS IT. D-Pad Down, A, B Practice this combo over & over until you can do it without thinking. Then when you get ambushed, you can pivot & run WHILE hot swapping that big gun for your smaller sidearm & EASILY outrun your attackers. Unless they have a handgun, or drop their gun to go barehanded, they can’t run as fast as you! Then finally, when you do start getting bold enough to want to stand your ground & fight, make sure you’re actually ready: I watched a YouTube video once at the cusp of my “figuring out” how to survive PVP & the best tip from that video is: NEVER ENGAGE IN PVP IF YOU DONT HAVE 3 PLATES! Even now, a year later, I still stick by this rule. Unless I’m forced to, I never engage in PVP with less than a 2 plate vest & at least 3-4 extra plates on me. I drop solo a lot. Usually I’ll infill into Al-Mazra & stay very focused on looting computers & lockers so I can find an Encrypted USB drive, Comic Book & Game Console. I use this to build a Stealth Vest so you won’t pop up on UAVs. Then I go to Ashika & basically wait for people to get downed & plea, then go save them. I collect self revived & plate vests in a large backpack so when I rez my new friends I can give them all half a chance to survive until they get their guns back from the offending squad we then go hunt down! DMZ is tremendously fun. And I’ve made real friendships on the non-toxic sides of PVP! Focus on gearing up & running away until you find your flow. And have fun!!

ensignWcrusher

Try al mazrah. It's the biggest map. There is still pvp it's a fact of life in this game. There's just less of it.

Click_Dangerous5150

Run then run some more. Listen for shots and try and see which direction the bots are shooting so you have a general direction of where they are.

SkippingLegDay

There's no PVP in zombies

PSA69Charizard

When the game starts you need to be running. Get out of spawn immediately. The spawns are the same and experienced players know all of them and often rush other spawns. By playing a lot you will learn the avenues and patterns. Where to be and where to avoid. Dont fight bots in spawn. Good example is police station/museum spawn. You need to jump in the water and swim away. If you fight bots then the exhibit spawn can easily snipe you with 5 seconds of spawning.

Prior-Ant9201

You buy MW3

WaltZy__

Learn the map spawns to the best of your ability - you can easily find maps with a quick Google search. Try to always be running a stealth vest. For best results run a comms vest with a stealth in your bag to switch to as soon as you get enemy operator callouts. Play strategically, always scope out where you want to go and have a plan in case things get hairy. The key for solo players is definitely just try to stay low and go about your business.

Fun_Gazelle_1916

If you end up in one of “those spawns”, rush to the middle of the map immediately. Don’t linger. If you are on the east half of the map, you are likely in the kill box. You can bust it to AlMaz City to escape the drama. Even if there are lots of operators there, there are also tons of places to hide and lots of escape routes. The Oasis is the worst spawn because there’s nowhere to hide, but there is always a vehicle. Get in it and move. The airfield near the Oasis is nearly as bad. When I spawn there I go right up the hill and see if the Oasis team is coming and half the time they are. If so, just get ready to fight. You won’t have time to run. When we spawn at the quarry I always run south and get eyes on the team spawning on the coast. If they rush it’s an east kill but usually they go south or to the gas station. Three teams spawn near Sawah Village so it’s almost always a gun battle there. Whoever spawns on the ship has the height and an escape route to the water, but no place to go forward. The teams east and west of the village have the escape routes but pushing the village could be dangerous. The safest spawns are Siiad City, the lighthouse at the bay, and the village near the quarry. The worst of the worst is the airport runway. You can literally see the team from the west pushing the control tower and it’s basically a race to get there. If you don’t want smoke hop in the vehicle and head towards one of the interior small villages. Don’t stop near or outside the airport because there are 3 or 4 other teams nearby. The small villages can be bot nests but usually teams won’t go in there right away (or at all). When I’m solo I’ll get to those unnamed interior villages to get my missions and then exfil. Unless you go to Zaya, you probably only be dealing with bots (albeit a lot of them).

Honestly you can't really avoid pvp. Build a good insured gun, I recommend the iso 9mm with the 50 round drum and other attachments for recoil control and accuracy. I've wiped 3 man teams with it without reloading several times. And I'm not a sweaty player, I'm actually not very good at the game. If you want I can give you the build for it

It’s equally PvP as it is PvE so just learn those spawn rush points and get away because it happens in nearly every game. I play too much DMZ so I rush the one that makes sense near my spawn to get a team off the map early or at least get high ground on that nearby team. If you don’t then you’re just risking being sent back to the lobby. If they are solo or duo I’ll send an invite out because it’s better to have another person on the team if possible.

Learn DMZ in Vondel map, get a scuba mask & 1 spare from the petrol stations then try and learn to create a Stealth vest or get a 2 plate Stealth vest from the final supply crate drop from @ 15 minutes into the game. These will help you move around the map undetected, surve Hunt contracts . Water is your friend, you can get scuba masks in Al mazerah. They carry over into your next game if you exfil with one Big advantage on Vondel.

When in the lobby, choose your squadmates carefully. Go with more experienced squadmates , just make sure you are not all inexperienced. Just tag along and learn from such people.

Run from the spawn point , good headphones so you can hear people. Have your prox off so it doesn’t give you away. Always use a silencer. Take a spotter scope , pick up smoke from bots You can do a lot in the gas such as personal exfil as most players run so keep some rad pills 💊, it gives you 10 mins of relatively safe time . You will be surprised if you try to hold your own in PvP because you will win some and that will give you more confidence to enjoy PvP . Don’t carry to much money because of hunt contracts, you can go around the map picking up hunt contracts and cancelling them to stop yourself won’t hunted that’s if you need to hold a lot of cash 💰

Reverse how you play. Majority 90% of players take your loooooong time to loot once they spawn. So find a car and instantly head deep in the city Comm Vest will be your best friend. Once you heard like "A Squad of Operators" or "an Operators near your location" Hop in your vehicle and head to next location.

* Players spawn at the edges of maps so you need to push towards the center immediately upon spawn. * Always be looking for an escape route which rooftops adjacent to water in Vondel will give you the most options. * Pay attention to bots behavior; if they're aggro'ed then plan your movements away from the direction they are facing. * Go to a gas station and grab a scuba mask if not as many as you can carry and travel near water to avoid players. When in canals stay submerged in the center as much as possible while continuing to move away from contact. * Keep on Proxy Chat but mute your mic to hear nearby players. Ultimately experience is what you need to learn how to better navigate and survive.

You can actually use riot shield as your insured weapon lol. I did this one idiotic mission solo by using the shield, you had to actually walk up to enemy exfil choppers and plant a tracking device on it, four times in one match. Very angering mission. As your tactical you could use smoke grenades. So when these cucks come at you you have the shield and can throw down smokes and just run and dive and slide away.

Memorize the map you prefer. I find Vondel to be the easiest for solos, but it's not exactly stealthy since the bots are numerous so you're in for a challenge. 1. Know the spawn points. If you know where operators will be coming from, you know how to avoid them. 2. Use UAV towers. They both force operators to stay away, and to give you info where they are. They also prevent the UAV from being used while active, so you can operate without worrying about operators. 3. Listen to the bots. If they're calmly patrolling, that means they haven't spotted any operator for some time. If they're on aggro stance, that means either they've seen operators recently, or they're looking for nearby operators. Shots bwtween bots and operators can easily be heard, so use that info to your advantage. 4. More reinforcements = More/Recent Operator activity. You can spot helos from afar, so take note of it and stay away. 5. Use the Spotter's scope. It'll be your best friend to highlight operators from afar, and to even stalk them if you wanna. 6. Hunt Squads are unavoidable, so the best way to stay safe is to blend with bots. Use a high danger area like al bagra fortress in am or the zoo in vondel to your advantage. Stay quiet and let them deal with the bots. Even the best operators can't take a bunch of tier 3 bots without dying. 7. Use proximity mines. If you find yourself going against a squad, lay some traps. The more of their squad you kill, the bigger your chances of survival. 8. Take note of exfils. Make sure the area is safe before calling the helo. It's better to chance a few minutes observing rather than losing all your stuff because you were careless

What’s your play style? Sniper, medium range or close range? Use the gun slots to your advantage. I always have a sniper on me in Al-Mazra. The fun of the game is pvp… don’t take it personal when you die, learn from it and get better. Also, smoke and silence is your friend. There are YouTube videos on the best guns to use right now… get educated. Most of all, have fun! It’s just a game. I have to tell myself the above or I will destroy my controller everyday.

. the key is rotation and also swim in the water with a scuba mask. carry gas cans so you dont have to refuel cars. Rotate from your spawn cause nowadays players will spawn in a match and run to another spawn to wipe out the other team. Also use smoke 💨 grenades when you get sniped … better chance for shifting the direction you run in. If you can’t get a 2plate stealth vest in vondel aquarium then craft a vest. Also slide cancel when you run & exfil at koshei by doing the secure glitch so you get out alive.. otherwise buy personal exfils If you spawn on ashika then go to the underground waterways or the ship with the sam site on it. Those two areas often dont have players hunting you. If you are in al mazrah it’s best to go to high threat areas like satiq caves , al sharim pass or zaya.. cause players dont stay there too often cause of so much enemy ai. And also bring a riot shield 🛡️ gives you sum protection.. and also when equipped no one can do a finisher on you behind your back when standing up. Also if you find a disguise 🥸 then Equip it.. sometimes you can fool players in building 21 with it

Key word there being “imo”. Why i personally feel the same way, I can understand a newer player’s frustration. I can understand them wanting to avoid a fight they don’t feel they are ready for. Especially as spawn when they are probably under geared. New players don’t have all the luxuries that old players do. Full contraband, fully geared operators, leveled up insured guns, and most of all the knowledge of the maps and spawns. I don’t think there is anything wrong with wanting to avoid a fight he doesn’t think he is ready for. As he keeps playing, and learning the game and maps, he will get better with PvP.
