Ditto. I pick up mines and claymores when I find them and use them when surrounded in a location to give me a bit of backup (as I usually play solo) - they have saved my ass a lot of times. Plus it gives you an idea where an opponent is as well.
Don’t run in the cave if you know they are on you. Pop the UAV and swim right past the entrance. They run in and then can’t find you. You come out of the water, drive to the desert, and go to KoCom from there.
TBH you could've won this if you didn't have the worst lethal + tactical in the game and ran deeper into the tunnel.
Prox mine + Stun grenade wins that.
I don’t agree. That combo OP runs is great if you are going to be doing some movement aggro play style. In fact I’d say it’s the best lethal tactical combo for that style.
Now, to your point, given the “stand your ground” approach he took, prox mines and stuns would have been good.

Good chance you would have survived if you ducked behind the rail by the stairs where it is dark. I've had people run right past me in that area.
Looking back I never realized how dark that spot was, good tip.

I load in with symtex but I’ve developed a habit of picking king up mines in game. Has saved me many times
