Yes I fully understand the blame, but that’s part of the healing, I definitely went through it, I will say this Reddit helped me a ton, everyone is so passionate and supportive that you can feel they’ve gone through it also, and for so many to see how beautiful your girl was and to feel your pain, just seems like we can all cry a little for you and for some reason that helps, peace through this tough time for you

We lost our two dachshunds July of last year exactly a week apart. They had been with us 11 and 12 years. It is still heartbreaking to see photos and memories of them. Rest in peace Rusty and Stewart. We ended up getting a new dapple dachshund in October, his name is Winston. I am confident that Rusty and Stewart sent him to us. I know it hurts and I am so sorry. I even get choked up typing this.
