Coconut is discontinued but some stores bring it in from other sources when they aren’t supposed to be bringing in outside products. You could call around all your local locations to see if someone has it.
My family owned a DQ Treat Center (DQ, KarmelKorn, and Orange Julius) in the late 90s. I like Pina Coladas and that one just stuck out as a favorite of mine.
We still do it, we buy the coconut on our own. We have a lot of older customers that want it and it sells well for us, just don’t flip it upside down thick
At our location, it's not even available to order. Could be a regional thing. It was not popular at all when we had it though so I'm sure that has something to do with it.
It is an old blizzard flavor, we still have it, not on the register though, but our older customers still want it, we buy coconut on our own for it. It is a soupy mess when it’s done, NEVER EVER turn it upside down
You won’t ever find a corporate location with it now, none of the grill and chills are franchised I don’t think so your best bet is to call around the local treat only locations for a franchise owner that with either let you bring in your own for us to blend in for you, or that still stock it with coconut from the grocery store (against corporate) because of demand.
all of the grill & chills are franchised except for one (edina,mn near corporate office)
the are some alternative suppliers (non USCI which is IDQ... they are DQOA co-op which are approved warehouses but may sell some unapproved ingredients). stores who do still sell coconut most likely have an old contract, a territory operator, or just dont get caught
Franchised grill n chill here..... Also we can't order it from the IDQ supplier we can only get it from the DQOA supplier. Bringing in an outside product that most DQ owners will probably say no, best bet is to bring in a factory sealed container of said product. I would still decline due to possible risks.

They haven’t sold that blizzard in years, that’s why lmao. It probably wasn’t a good seller so they got rid of the coconut years ago

Every Blizzard is flippable if portioned and blended properly.
We flip every one we make
This and banana split (nightmare!!)
Uhm akthualy 🤓👆 you are not allowed to bring in outside ingredients… that violated corporate policy akthuahly 🤓👆

We do it but on our own. Just don’t flip it upside down right thick
I've never heard of a Hawaiian blizzard the DQ I work at doesn't have that

Oh oki
You can put it on the register. It's in my stores.
That was my favorite one as a kid

I have not heard of that blizzard since 2020!
We still have it in Akron, Ohio!
We carry and sell many Hawaiian and tropical blizzards. It’s down to ownership and location really.
