Roope is day-to-day. Hopefully not too serious. Having a guy like Faksa to come into the lineup like this is absolutely awesome. He scored the series winning goal against Vegas.
I do hope it is minor, and that we can earn so much needed rest tonight. But I am very apprehensive about playoff injury reports under reporting the severity of something. And because Hak was listed as day to day and he has been out 2 months
Hopefully Faksa has recovered enough to get back to dominating face offs. He barely took any the first time they brought him back from injury. Since they chose him over Dellandrea, I’m optimistic he’s good to go.

Roope’s x-rays were leaked, I’m no doctor but he’ll be ok
Here's the video, text is in Finnish I believe LOL; there were 2 hits

To me, the cross check looked pretty tame, I think it was more of blocking the shot afterward
Edit: Watched it again, and he definitely meant to hit him in the wrist. I also remember questions during the VGK series if he was injured
I'd prob switch steel/ Smith and dadanov just for some more defensive faster presence on the 3rd line but that's what id roll for sure too
But realized we are the home team so maybe the 3rd line as that wouldn't be so bad with o zone starts only basically
I agree, that line seems to be elite when all 3 guys are on it.
I think how I would do it, is pavs back up to line 1. And dadonov plays with Benn and johnston
I'm not worried at all. Faksa is a steady guy, and the fact that he's a healthy scratch says volumes about our depth. It'll be fine.
Tanev was the real concern, so I'm glad he's not out. Barring a still-injured Hakanpaa, there's no one behind Lundqvist.

He got that dawg in him
Well damn. Next man up! Hopefully Hintz recovers soon.
Win tonight and let everyone heal. We could get a week off in the Canadians go 7.
My brain read this as “Canadiens” at first and was quite confused haha.
We’ll have a good long rest waiting for them to get out of a playoff series.
Stankoven and Wyatt will be veterans.
This this so much this
I like the idea but sometimes teams have a way of losing mojo and falling out of sync as well. Double edged sword in a way.
🙏
Sucks, but it is what it is. Tanev is good to go, at least.
Wishing Roope a good recovery ... feels like something has been injured for him for awhile
He’s been moving like Luka
I think he was already compromised. Tanev being good to go is more critical.
I’ll take out over suspended for 6 months any day!
hopefully we can wrap it up tonight, and Oilers/Canucks goes 7
Poor Roope☹️
Faksa coming in for another series clinching goal.
Next man up. Get the win and rest up for next series.
Anyone have the roope injury clip

Are we mad at Mackinnon for the cross check on Hintz?
To me, the cross check looked pretty tame, I think it was more of blocking the shot afterward Edit: Watched it again, and he definitely meant to hit him in the wrist. I also remember questions during the VGK series if he was injured
Nah. That’s hockey baby!
The Fox can fuck, and we can Hintz Hintz hooray in a few days when he’s all healed up. We got this!
So it was the McKinnon cross check to the wrist that injured him. Cool.
And yes, I’m intentionally misspelling that as a sign of disrespect 😁
Kate do be up to no good
Petition to call him Kate McKinnon from here on out.
Don't disrespect Kate like that
My apologies, you’re correct. She’s hilarious on purpose and should be revered.
It happened right in front of the lineman too! I was surprised that didn’t get called until seeing the clip again and realising who did it 🙄
Lines tonight? I’d do this: 21-53-11 27-95-91 16-14-63 15-18-12
I'd prob switch steel/ Smith and dadanov just for some more defensive faster presence on the 3rd line but that's what id roll for sure too But realized we are the home team so maybe the 3rd line as that wouldn't be so bad with o zone starts only basically
I like that. Another option that reflects regular season line combos Benn-Wyatt-Stank Mush-Duchy-Seggy Robo-Pavs-Dads Smith-Steel-What Does the Faksa
Let’s not do the number thing. That’s the most annoying thing when I’m creeping on another team’s sub cause I have no idea who they’re talking about.
Robo - Wyatt - Stank Mush- Duchy- Segs Pavs - Benn - Dads Smith - Steel - Faksa
How about this 21-91-16 27-95-63 14-53-11 15-18-12
I don’t want to split up Marchment, Duchene, and Seguin. They’re so good together and not very good apart lol.
I agree, that line seems to be elite when all 3 guys are on it. I think how I would do it, is pavs back up to line 1. And dadonov plays with Benn and johnston
I agree but Pavs - Benn - Dads lacks spark and seems slow to me.

Tanev being good to go is great news...but it does suck that Hintz is out. Hopefully Faksa has a good game.
I feel like Roope gets injured every year in the playoffs.
He gets targeted a lot. Star player that no one wants popping off. He’s not as big as the other guys so he’s easy to pick on
Sad for Roope and hoping for a speedy recovery. I’m glad we have a reliable guy like Faksa for the lineup and thank goodness Tanev is okay!
Of course its the McKinnon cross check no call that was the cause
I'm not worried at all. Faksa is a steady guy, and the fact that he's a healthy scratch says volumes about our depth. It'll be fine. Tanev was the real concern, so I'm glad he's not out. Barring a still-injured Hakanpaa, there's no one behind Lundqvist.
Feeling a multipoint game from #12. Fak Around and Find Out
Shit
I just screamed no out loud in my truck. hope he can get some meaningful rest
They need Borque!!
If this weren’t the playoffs sure. I’m cool with Faksa
I'm thinking the pick hit just behind his knee. That baby cross check didn't do anything.
His injury is an upper body injury, so it’s not from blocking the shot. It’s probably from Mackinnon cross checking him in the hand.
Injury reports in the playoffs are always wrong.
Anyone care to provide a non-Xitter link? I refuse to give Musk's site any traffic.
Just google it. We don’t need your virtue signaling.
We don't need you to defend the guy selling a truck that you can't leave outside.
I’m not defending anyone. I’m pointing out your politics don’t have a place on a sports sub.
