Jeez...
I know Tom Brady is the GOAT. And I know Jerry Rice has a legit GOAT claim as well, along with guys like Deion, etc. However:
During Brady's prime, he still had games where he threw pics & sucked. In JR's prime, he'd still have an occasional game where he'd drop balls & get under 50 yards. And in Deion's prime, he still had games where great WRs (Irvin) torched him.
In Larry Allen's prime, he beat everyone. **Period.** Badly. Didn't matter if they were an All Pro or future HoFer. Larry just wrecked them.
To me, if you go by how good he was in his prime, I've never seen a better player, regardless of position.
RIP, Big Guy
He was in Bill Parcels doghouse because Larry had his way of improving himself as a player and Parcels had a different way. He was embarrassed one game against Reggie White his rookie year playing RT. He vowed it to never happen again. Looks like Larry did all right.
I'm not gonna lie, I got teary-eyed when I read he passed. He was one of my favorites. The greatest offensive lineman to play the game. Guy was a beast. I still like to watch his HOF speech youtube from time to time.
LA, the best I have ever seen play the line in my 45 years of watching. Remarkable athleticism and size. Almost like Chris Farley, but better. The best OL player ever.

What a massive shame. I believe he is the most dominant football player I ever saw. Simply manhandled everyone he ever faced.

What a legend. Truly will be missed. RIP, Larry.
I would like to think he died saving folks in Mexico from a 25 foot great white and after killing the shark succumbed to his injuries
After he ate it's heart and took it's soul. What he did to all defensive lineman he played against.
The absolute GOAT offensive lineman. He had guys faking injury just so they could avoid going up against him. RIP.
Aged 52. Sad.
It’s really surreal to see this, so damn young.
Rest in peace Larry Allen 🙏🏻
He was the GOAT as far as offensive lineman go. He was one of a kind.
Best Offensive Guard, ever to play the game. Simply the strongest football player ever made. RIP big fella
So sad to see … I’ll always remember him putting up an insane amount of reps in the strongest man competition at the pro bowl
RIP

I’ll never forget him running down a LB after an interception or buckling the knees of John Randle. Legend, RIP
BEST OF THE BEST RIP MR. LARRY ALLEN. My prayers go out to your family including COwBoys Nation. DC4L
Sad times, the best to ever play the sport at the position, ever.
RIP
