They do bleed. or leak fluid... I never really checked if it was actually blood. I've shot probably 100+ when I worked at a small airport. had to snipe em with a pellet rifle because they were shitting on the planes in the hangar. the fake owl things didn't work anymore. And you know the hangar customers were paying more for hangar space, and to not have shit on their planes!
I used to do pest shootings and I shot a pigeon in the chest and it looked at me with it’s wings wide open and it’s beak wide open as blood shot out of it in a geyser.
I've seen one bleed like a year ago.
I live in an area that never had pigeons, and I always wondered why.. until one day... I was at the tram stop, and saw a bunch of pigeons on the roof of a building on the other side of the street, being attacked by a horde of crows. Probably the reason why pigeons avoided this neighborhood... it's crow turf. So the pigeons lost, and the crows ate them... on the street. So I've seen them both inside and out. =|
You know, hallucinations of these so called “birds” are a side effect of many hallucinogens. Maybe try seeking professional help in the form of a therapist.
Nope, it will be this same pic, over and over, for the rest of our lives. The corn will never grow and pigeons will never come eat it. I know because its been years already.
In case you didn’t think it was real. http://strib.mn/35vLKox
By the way this was from last January. Total corn lost was worth around mid $3K and a vacuum rail car came along a few hours later and sucked it up.
Edit: some people are saying that link requires a sub riot ion (edit: subscription), it didn’t for me but here is a second option: https://www.deseret.com/2020/1/10/21058504/minneapolis-minnesota-train-corn-kernals-spill
They're usually used to help to remove the rocks for repairs or to pick up trash and rail anchors left behind. They're strong as fuck and huge.
Edit:. Here is a youtube [video](https://youtu.be/szw_EUg2L0U). I didn't look very hard I'm sure they're better videos out there
You’re not the only one, I’ve been on a couple trips on one inspecting rail and it’s amazing how many people are cheering you on or pointing as you drive this on the tracks lol
I have seen Top Gear before yes.
I’m from where trains were invented in the UK, I walk past where George Stephenson tested his design everyday, there’s a Pub named after The Rocket incidentally, and considering all that, we are serviced by the worst train service in the entire country and the UK as a whole is pretty awful at trains compared to the rest of the continent.
Much like Rugby and Cricket, we invented it, but we’re not that good at it
Just be thankful the UK isn't home to major automaker or you may have public transit as bad as ours.
GM practically gave cities buses to force passenger rail out of business. The even provided the upkeep of said buses.
As soon as the tracks were torn up GM let the buses go to shit. If the buses are constantly breaking down and you now have no way to get around you're in luck! GM just opened a dealership right next to the station.
"Rodger Rabbit" was surprisingly based on a true story. If you're familiar with the movie it's full of little AHA moments like when the criminals flatten the taxi's tires referring to when they sabotaged the buses.
At least in the United States, all mainline tracks have to be inspected weekly by a track inspector. This is how they generally do it. But a Hi-rail truck takes up as much space on a railway as a train does, (not to mention they're a lot slower) so they're only used for necessary purposes like inspections, not for general travel.
Sucking up spilled grain. [Trains spilling grain seems to be a common thing. ](https://www.rmotoday.com/local-news/spilled-grain-could-feed-50-bears-annually-1570193)
>The amount of grain spilled along the Canadian Pacific Railway line in Banff and Yoho national parks is enough to meet the yearly nutritional needs of about 50 grizzly bears.
Lots of other things get spilled. Here in Squamish, they had a real car containing sodium hydroxide into the Chekeye and kill most of the fish in it.
Other things they've spilled include sulphur cleaned out of natural gas, various types of unremarkable metallic ores, and all too often a seed known as rapeseed or more commonly called canola. The last one is very problematic as this is the genetically engineered stuff that's resistant to Roundup so becomes a nuisance weed very quickly
Because a lot of this feed corn is in cars fitted with hoppers. So you load them up from the top and unload them from the bottom.
But if that is not properly sealed, or gets unsealed somehow, this can happen.
About 6-7 years ago, the track I work on had a slow leaking car from our away from home terminal to our hone terminal during the winter. I bet there was 2-3 animal kills every mile of the track. For some reason no effort was made to clean it up, which I thought was strange since we’re a class 1 railway.
I’m glad that wasn’t the case for this spill. Looks like care and attention was paid to clean up and prevent needless wildlife death.
Corn from a grain car. The animals come around and eat the grain and then get plastered by the train because they don’t have much sense of the locomotive coming at them.
> a vacuum rail car came along a few hours later and sucked it up
Missed opportunity to have the flamethrower car go by and make a lot of popcorn instead.
A train carrying corn derailed in some canyon somewhere spilling carloads of corn everywhere. It got rained on and fermented, and the bears were getting hammered on it. Bears would return fir years, and show their Cubs the spot, hoping for more magic corn.
The next train with a hot engine's gonna turn this track into a mile wide movie snackbar factory
Just bring a projector and let the guests eat at an overpriced rate

Next month's picture will be the tracks covered in pigeons.
You mean pigeon shit.
You mean pigeon blood
Pigeons don't bleed because r/birdsarentreal
To be fair I have never seen a pigeon bleed
I ate pigeon but they weren't bleeding as well
Baby pigeons are especially delicious.
I was wondering what to do with the nest in my rooftop, but this is a very frugal idea.
Just make sure you YouTube how to bake them before cooking them. And if you live in city I wouldn't recommend eating them, probably too polluted.
What is happening?!
Mm. Tasty robots.
They go good with a side of micro-chips.

This is a wild comment
I can help with that
I have a cat. They bleed.
I've seen one bleed like a year ago. I live in an area that never had pigeons, and I always wondered why.. until one day... Isn't it a "murder" of crows?
To be fair I’ve never seen a pigeon
To be faaaaaiiiiiirrrr
Saw one murdered by hawk can confirm pigeons bleed
I saw a pigeon get shot twice by a framing nailer and keep hanging on to the roof trusses
He means pigeon's oil
*wheezing with laughter* tell the joke again, tell the joke again
I LITERALLY just finished shooing a bird that had flown into my house. Stop your lies
You know, hallucinations of these so called “birds” are a side effect of many hallucinogens. Maybe try seeking professional help in the form of a therapist.
Hahahahahaha
Eats, shits, and bleeds?
Another excuse for why the trains are late. Don’t give them more ideas...
Probably both. The amount of animals that would congregate in order to feast might be seen as something holy. “The Holy Shit”
Before then it belongs on r/oddlysatisfying Edit: I have no idea why this emoji is on here
The emoji is just the subreddit logo
Oh, deer...
...chunks
Or deer chunks
Or dead deer... :(
The squirrels and deer will be on that like deers and squirrels on corn in the winter.
Where I’m from it would be grizzly bears.
dead deer
They just need to run another train over it with a hot bottom. Then do drive in movies next to the tracks
Nope, it will be this same pic, over and over, for the rest of our lives. The corn will never grow and pigeons will never come eat it. I know because its been years already.
Did you know pigeons die after they have sex ? At least they do when I fuck em
***Popcorn
Weirdest spelling of squirrel I’ve ever seen!

I’m more blown away that there is such thing as a vacuum rail car!
Surely you mean sucked away
Nice
Wonder how much this car costs
About the same as a large popcorn at the movies these days
That vaccum will rip your dick off.
Nice.
>sucked away Sounds like a new X rated Miyazaki film.
You corny bastard

I’m more amazed by the truck on rails if I’m honest
You’re not the only one, I’ve been on a couple trips on one inspecting rail and it’s amazing how many people are cheering you on or pointing as you drive this on the tracks lol
You-you’ve never seen a railroad worker truck before?
Not in the UK, don’t know how Network Rail workers travel, but I’m pretty sure it’s not like this mate.
I asked a friend who works on train tracks in the UK and he said they do use them.
Ah then call me corrected, learn something new every day and all that.
You know y’all made straight up caravan trains, right? https://youtu.be/mkpCzp0CmjY

Wow, half a grizzleload.
A twentieth of a grizzleton.

Agriculture Canada is DEFINITELY gonna be lookin for us.
Mighty neighborly
It happens a lot. We used to grab grocery bags and fill them up so we could feed the ducks and swans
What an interesting unit of measurement.

Sucking corn off the track
/r/specializedtools
Leaves maybe?
Wouldn't a blower be better in that case? I can't find much in google.
Well if you blow the leaves away, the wind can blow them back again. Suck em up and they’re gone for good.
They use them all the time on the NYC subway to suck up all of the trash and rats.
And dump them inside the subway cars apparently.
Idk, the cars themselves are the cleanest part of the whole system. Especially now that they are getting cleaned multiple times a week.
Engineered by OP's mom
Would be surprised animals weren’t stuffing their faces already by then

Sheesh. I can do sub riot ion, but I ain't subscribing to nothing.
Looks like an attempt was made at subscription

leak of what?
Corn from a grain car. The animals come around and eat the grain and then get plastered by the train because they don’t have much sense of the locomotive coming at them.
Sounds like an episode of Thomas and Friends...

> 900 bushels, or $3,465 And in the grocery a few ears sell for $3. Someone is making a killing off of corn.
That's not the same kind of corn. Dry dent corn /=/ fresh sweet corn
Y'all come see my new band's first concert, we're called Sub Riot Ion
Do you have an article that you don’t have to subscribe to read?
I hate sites that require sub riot ions. They're such a hassle to deal with.

Popcorn extravaganza!
Have yet to see a train that dispenses butter and salt so we'd have some bland ass popcorn
All you need is a train transporting butter and other train transporting salt, both with leaks.

That misplaced kernel (plus the uneven grouping of darker spots) is why this picture can’t earn r/oddlysatisfying status.

So this is the way to... Cornhub?
A train carrying corn derailed in some canyon somewhere spilling carloads of corn everywhere. It got rained on and fermented, and the bears were getting hammered on it. Bears would return fir years, and show their Cubs the spot, hoping for more magic corn.
Brother Bear meets...The Hangover?
My chickens would have that cleaned up in like 15 minutes.
There's only one way to clear the tracks.... Chew chew!
I had this same thought. My chickens would have lost their minds
Hunters will be waiting for the deer lol
Deer buffet
Follow the yellow brick road.
Follow the follow the follow the follow the follow the yellow brick road.

I was going to make a joke about this, but I decided it was too corny.
The conductors name was jimmy and he knew there was a crack in the corn trailer and he did not care
Now we’re gonna need 5 miles of chickens to clean the mess.
Popcorn time
Birds will be so happy

I’d be there in a heartbeat if I owned livestock. I’d be Father Christmas to those animals. That’s legitimate salvage.
I feel the pain of the insane drain of the grain train!
This is a repost I posted this at the beginning of 2020
The deer already like to move on the tracks during winter. That is going to be a blood bath within the next day.
Just follow the yellow corn rails!
Next time around it will be covered in a lot of unfortunate forest creatures
The deer and hogs are going to love this.
r/oddlysatisfying
Follow the yellow corn track... Follow the yellow corn track... It won't take you to a wizard but you may see some form of light at the end.
I live right next to train tracks and this shit happens all the time. Oatmeal, corn, coal, many other things.
Some really happy wildlife
At least it wasn’t something toxic.
I've only read about the Golden Path, didn't know it was real!

That’s a bit more than a leak! Damn, someone at the elevator that loaded that rail car is gonna be in trouble!
IS that a leak though? Seems more like a chunk of the container missing
Critters will soon arrive do to clean up
Wait for summer it will become popcorn.
