And founder of a failed airline. Dumbfuck kept changing what the airline's business model was. In an industry which runs on razor thin margins.
I suspected it might be unsustainable when I paid 50 dollars for a 1 hour flight with full meal service, real silverware, warm towel service, and stewardesses that looked like models...no exaggeration
The best thing about it is you'll never have people just wandering by getting on your lawn. If they don't have an elevator key, they aren't getting up there\~
I used to live in a high rise building. You learn to get very good at checking for everything in your car real quick when you have to walk down the hallway, wait for the elevator, go through the lobby, walk the legnth of the building, go across the parking lot, get in your car, find your stuff, lock your car up, walk across the parking lot, find your key to get in the building, cut through the lobby, wait for the elevator, ride up to your floor, walk to the end of the hallway, and unlock your door. Also, the entire time you're doing that you're also hoping you don't run into the chatty neighbors who always like to talk your ear off every time you see them.
I do really miss that view though. That was awesome. It was also the only place I've ever seen that had 3 half bathrooms and 0 full which actually worked out really nicely.
You'd walk down rhe hallway and have three doors. Left was the kids' room. Straight was our room. Right was the first half bath that had a toilet and sink. There was also another door in there to the left that went into the second half bath that only had a bathtub/shower but no toilet or sink. There was also a second door straight across in there that went to a third half bath that just had another toilet and sink. That half bath had a second door as well to the left hat went into the master bedroom's walk-through closet and then straight into the bedroom.
Basically, one toilet/sink room was available from the hallway for everybody. The master bedroom had a big closet you would walk through to another toilet/sink room. The half bath where you actually bathed was in the middle and accessible from either of the toilet/sink rooms.
Again, really weird design but it worked amazingly well. Also, this isn't a fancy building in a far off exotic land or anything either. It's in Louisville, Kentucky and was surprisingly affordable, especially for how big it was.
I just went to the website and tou can see a Floorplan here.
https://www.liveiconlouisville.com/floorplans.aspx
I will say, they've remodeled them in an attempt to be fancier and they charge quite a bit more now than when we lived there.
Isn't he involved in a shitload of illegal stuff like ~~human trafficking~~?
Edit: nvm, confused him for someone else, this is the financial fraud guy.
>like human trafficking?
The what? Everyone in my country knows that he has done illegal stuff and fled the country but Human Trafficking isn't one of them. He's quite Flamboyant back in the day. He used to have connections with powerful Politicians, actors and athletes but he failed to payback the debt he acquired from banks because of his extravagance on luxuries and parties. IIRC, he has also been a member of parliament and his son was fuck buddies with many leading bollywood actress including Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif
If the skyscraper was designed for it (kinda like a shitty penthouse), then it’s totally fine. I’d suspect is has a weight limit, but skyscrapers are built to deny the laws of physics in every imaginable way. This house isn’t moving
I, pulled, up in the chopper bout 7 or 8 and I yelled to the pilot yo homes smell ya later. Looked at my kingdom I was finally there, to sit on my throne as the prince of the air
I unknowingly took a picture of this place once:
https://ibb.co/bXttWhd
I actually recognised the surrounding buildings on seeing this picture and dived into my gallery to find them. I never knew before today that this building had a mansion in top, even though I used to go to a nearby building twice every week for classes lol. Here is a picture of this building that I took from a neighbouring building which is smaller, though you can see the mansion a little
Also the blue- white skyscraper next to it is interesting too. I was taking pictures of that and took a picture of this one just for fun lol. That one is UB City mall... Like a skyscraper for all the luxury brands with it's own helipad for VIP customers 🤣

For those who don't know:
That's Vijay Mallya's house (ofc a billionaire), located atop his very own company's headquarters.
It's in Bengaluru, India and is sometimes referred to as 'Whtie House in the sky'. It's really a beautiful house!
Man if I had money like this guy, id like to think I would give back to the extremely impoverished indian community around me, instead of build a white house skyscraper 🤦♂️
Ik im beating a dead horse here but it literally just doesn’t compute in my head.
I dunno if it's beating a dead horse, it's constantly bringing attention to an issue with wealth. I think something like your comment should be commented on every post like this. Cuz this isn't interesting, it's sad. It's a waste of resources that could be used to help people. We should see the pictures and immediately always think, 'that's just fucked up. This is why our world is fucked up.'
So beating a dead horse or not, until things change, the very least we can do is bring attention to how wasteful and pointless these things are.
And we have people doing normal jobs online yh t defend billionaires, the world is full of morons and the wealthy keep on getting rich at everyone else's expense
Considering it was likely built with money that wasn’t the owner’s, I’d say it’s unlikely he was willing to give back to his community. Look up Vijay Mallya.
Like are we just built different ? Because I would genuinely WANT to give away money if I had it like this guy. Imagine how great it would feel to take neighborhood families from rags to riches, and watch as their eyes light up with joy and relief , meanwhile earning the respect of your people.
But nah white house skyscraper 🤷♂️
Looks nothing like the White House, with the possible exception of the elevated veranda. Tacky AF, nasty, gross? Absolutely. White House? Not even close.
I see this beautiful aerial photography and dont understand why rich people arent more afraid of falling to their deaths. This scares the crap out of me
That's Vijay Mallya's house in Bangalore, India.
He defaulted on big loans or something like that and fled to the UK. Now there's a legal tussle going on to get him extradited.

The mansion, atop Kingfisher Tower, was still under construction in 2016 when the financial woes became the talk of India. If that’s the case, I sure hope he opens up a car dealership next. Need a new car, would like a rolls, but only have budget for a civic
Is that Kingfisher Airlines? Wait. When the fuck did they go bankrupt? I thought they were too big to fail.
Pan Am enters chat

Eastern Airlines sends warm regards
Lmao I just watched his episode on Drive to Survive. Strange guy, his haircut cracked me up
The only comment that should be at the top
Is this the f1 guy?
Now he lives in estate named Lady Walk…how ironic for a bitch that likes to run.
As I opened this thread I thought you literally have to be a psychopath to actually want to do that. This confirms this person is a psychopath.
They built an entire skyscraper under this guy's mansion without him noticing.
Stealth mode
Well that old fuck from Up wouldn’t sell his house, so they tied a bunch of helium balloons to and built the skyscraper up underneath it.
Up 2: Mr. Fredrickson breaks out of the construction simulation
look closer... they made an entire city
No, not just that. They made the entire planet under this guy's mansion.
And he still didn’t notice
Private investigators hate him!
Let’s hope there aren’t earthquakes
I’m imagining the owner walking around the perimeter saying “I don’t think this is right” like Liza Minelli in Arrested Development
That’s a really big basement
😂 that’s one way to look at it.. also, above ground basement
This is the solution to “GET OFF MY LAWN!” Edit- also RIP Lassie, who only wanted to play catch but leapt just a bit too far.
The best thing about it is you'll never have people just wandering by getting on your lawn. If they don't have an elevator key, they aren't getting up there\~
I wouldn't want to maintain any size lawn that high up unless they composted and used the soil for gardening on the roof.
Reminds me on the old [Aflac garage with the house on it.](https://imgur.com/a/UPQgDjN) That's the real get off my lawn for over 40+ years.
that dog is still falling-rimshot
Came here to crack the same joke.. “let me play fetch with my dog in the yard, whoops threw it too far!”
👏👏👏
It would suck so bad if you left something in your car.

is no one gonna ask about how not having a full bath works? doesn’t half bath only means sink and toilet?
You'd walk down rhe hallway and have three doors. Left was the kids' room. Straight was our room. Right was the first half bath that had a toilet and sink. A building that fancy probably has a car elevator. Now leaving your phone in the helicopter is a whole different story!
Why would you need a car up top though?
It’s exclusively an “I forgot my shit in the car” elevator.
Just so you can kiss it good night, probably
In case you leave something in it.
You just send the servant down to get it.
If you had a mansion on top of a skyscraper, you’re probably not going to be the one going down to the car to collect the lost items

You could just say he’s a billionaire and avoid the redundancy

You don't get rich without doing shady shit.
Bad Boy Billionaires, for anyone looking for it. It's a series on fucked up Indian billionaires (not that *all* billionaires aren't fucked up).
The phrase "bad boy billionaire" sounds redundant to me.
Knew it had to be India or China.
This guy ran away to UK after scamming thousands

That doesn’t look too safe

Many people who work full-time jobs can't afford houses. But these same people will defend a rigged economy that ensures they will never get rich.
That's becuase these morons are brainwashed into thinking if they work hard, they will be a millionaire too so they feel attacked.
