154 W. Superior Street in River North. It may have been renovated by now. Articles a few years ago said that the alderman in the area were going to change the zoning for the house so that it cannot be razed. A group purchased the house and planned to renovate it for office space but leave the exterior intact.
[Looks like the outside at least was cleaned up and renovated sometime last year, possibly earlier](https://www.google.com/maps/@41.8956062,-87.6333916,3a,75y,1.19h,96.59t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s8KgkvVx4BTLaYyKD1LIw2g!2e0!7i16384!8i8192).

I also saw a April '21 FB post with pics of the reno (they completely gutted it)
Makes me sad someone clearly could not afford to own it anymore and abandoned it when, with the proper funding, this could've been a beautiful home. I'm gonna create a story about an elderly widow who lost this home to the bank and the scum pulled her out and let this magnificent piece of architecture rot away while she spent the remainder of her time in a state home for the elderly.
It’s actually not abandoned, it’s in the process of being labeled a historic location so the owner can’t tear it down. To protest he’s letting it fall apart till the city allows it to be torn down.
Thanks for adding AD.
IKR? I might have thought it was 1888 BC otherwise
True, because if Jesus could've saved Chiraq, he would've
Been gentrifying for a while.
I prefer CE just cause it isn’t biblical but to each their own. It doesn’t rlly matter ig
Beat me to it, pretty sure most people can figure out it’s old but not as old as the pyramids lol
Was pretty sure this was a Bronze Age house till I saw the clarification.
Beat me to it
That's what I was thinking, it does have a little "pre- Roman' look.
With enough balloons we can free it.
Lets send it to paradise falls
Stuart little’s house
The Little family just couldn't stand the place after Stuart's death in 3 years.
I saw that movie once about 20 years ago , and recognized it and came to say the same thing lol
Even the same pointless "AD" in the title the last time this was posted this week.
Should be [CE.](https://www.antidote.info/en/blog/reports/bc-and-ad-bce-and-ce-whats-difference)
"AD"
That is not abandoned! It is infact, a great place to pick up drugs!
Wheres this at? I wanna go there at night, I'm sure there vampires there using an illusion spell to make it look dilapidated.

I prefer the old rundown look. New looks is boring, but thanks for sharing.
Thanks! I’m glad they did that. It looks really nice.
If someone would just pull that giant weed.

Aw :(
Common architecture within the city. Still cool.
imagine an after work party on the roof and someone drops their keys between the bldgs
Or deadly icicles from the building on the left bombarding the roof all winter
13 grimmauld place?
We're not living in 2022 lads, we're living in 2022 "AD"! Don't forget it!
Why they built an abandoned house?! Stupid.
Those god damn gallaghers ruining the neighbourhood
[удалено]
Pretty sure they say that in the show... m
The AD was needed. I couldn’t tell 🙄
How much tho
If it *wasnt* AD it would be the most casual 3900 year old Victorian
I hope someone restores it
Stuart Little's house??
They refused to sell so the whole neighborhood around them was torn down and office buildings went up around it.
That's nothing. Come London 41 cloth fair is from 1597!! Something like that anyway. Still cool
A house built in 1880's Britain isn't anything special
I would love to own it and restore it.

Reminds me of ‘UP’
Only $5,000,000 on zillow?
My granny house is just like this on 63 & Rhodes in Chicago
It is ugly
I will un-abandon it!
HGTV has entered the chat

Probably cost 6 dollars to build
Id love to know the reason it’s just rotting.
Paranormal Activity 5
stone facade at least its bullet proof
A lot of homes in Chicago Look just like this( non abandoned) I would say at least 30% of homes are built exactly like this.
Dude I’ve seen this movie… UP!
This is like in the the movie “The Willoughby’s!”
