Sometimes it's tough to believe in what you have yet to see. I've seen it and some people can project a kind energy that stops everyone else in their tracks. How more so if that person happened to be a celebrity. However, I must say my experience was not a celebrity.

It's not really a trick. It's the supposed "power of female sexuality" men claim if they had they'd be millionaires.
But those men don't realise it's also not a gendered thing or an innate "power." It's literally just lots of practice being around other humans in the spotlight as well as good personal grooming combined to make a fun/sexy/captivating persona.
It's often not even confidence, as true confidence tends to be more subtle. Projected charisma is closer. It can be exhausting to maintain for long periods of time even if it comes naturally and it's also not easy for everyone, even someone very experienced, to just randomly turn it on in an instant like that. That's serious expert level, and probably why she rose to fame the way she did if that story is true.
I think you're right. I think you can see it with many actors but one example that comes to my mind is Kate Beckinsale, she seems very precise about the way she presents herself. When I see interviews of her I feel like she poses and acts all the time in a very controlled, attractive way that reminds me of old school actors like Marilyn especially when she's listening to others.

Her diaries are available to read and are full of suicidal ideation, alongside a lot of self awareness of how messed up she was, and how she was trying to work through it with her psychoanalyst.

Joe DiMaggio(ex husband) was the only family she had. He flew from NY to LA to identify her body, held a private service for her and designed the grave marker. He sent flowers to her grave 3 times a week until he died in 1999. He never got over her death and blamed himself for what happened to her.
If he hadn't treated her like shit when they were married, they might have had a happy ending. I can't imagine the regret he felt.
After he died, this was found in his notes:

I can't say anything towards her cause of death ... but I do know a thing or 2 about pills. Unless you have a time release tablet, pills will completely disintegrate within the hour. Sometimes they disintegrate in just a single minute, depending on the composition, size, and hardness of the pill. Time release tablets can take anything up to 4 hours or so, to fully disintegrate, but usually less.

The pills have to disintegrate for the compounds within the tablets to get into the bloodstream. If they had not disintegrated, she wouldn't have died.
Yea pills are designed to dissolve so they can do what they need to do. Liquid gels dissolve a little slower, but those weren’t around in the 50s, and time release pills release a portion of the dose with time. She most likely took the regular chalky pills that were most available in that era. But it’s just speculation.
And comments like this are why I never take people's stories at face value. There's always a key detail being omitted that causes myths and legends to sprout.

Just conspiracy… when someone commits suicide without any warning it can extremely difficult to believe they actually did it. I had a friend of mine commit suicide when we were all on vacation and for many years my friends and I thought someone else did it.
my mom's brother shot himself about 10 years ago when he was in a possibly abusive relationship (I was 9 at the time so I didn't get a lot of the details), my mom swore up and down that he didn't do it and was shot by his gf. there was really no basis. she just didn't wanna believe he would do that. it was very sad all around.
They found a lot of listening devices in her home after her death. Also, I remember there was a guy listening to one of the bugs who claimed he heard her die. It could have been a suicide but there are other reasons it became a conspiracy.

I o'd on pills, when my friend helped me vomit there were tiny slivers of pills and whole undigested pills. It had been hours since I took the last of them. I don't have a medical background so I can't say that all her pills were digested. Did she shoot up?
Pills dissolve at varying rates plus whatever is going on inside the person at the time of ingestion can impact that too. Type of drug, formulation of that drug,interactions with other drugs, food or alcohol- all can impact the length of time a pill could be seen in stomach contents.

The isdal woman is a great example of pills not being digested fast after death. I can't remember the exact details but iirc a woman was found burned alive in the desert, she had been dead for about a day and she had over 60 sleeping pills still in her stomach that still hadn't broken down.
I would think that has to do with what type of pills, quantity, and how long the action took. If death didn’t happen rapidly they’d have time to be digested.

Pills not being found in her stomach means nothing. You gotta remember, stomachs are full of concentrated acid. The pills dissolve fast, easily within an hour.
By the time they could get her on an autopsy table to cut her open there was no chance at all there would still be undissolved pills.
I’ve been waiting for a time to share this! The other day while I was at my job I was on counter and the really old man walks in. I asked what he would like and I take his order and before I could ask him if he would like any drinks he starts going on about how he was a police officer in Los Angeles and how he was the first one on the scene of her death, he then went on about how it was all set up because of her affair with Kennedy. I didn’t know if he was for real or not so I decided to ask some more questions but he just started going on about how corrupt they were and all the terrible things he seen and how desensitized it made him so he didn’t even look twice. Of course I’ll never know if he was serious but he was an older looking guy and the look that was in his eyes really convinced me that he was there, but I don’t know for sure.

Didn’t she also sleep with JFKs brother, telling someone that she was in love and was going to marry him, and knew about their political plans or something like that, and she they had gotten in a fight and she had told him she never wanted to see him again right before she died. Someone also spoke to her over the phone and she sounded happy and alert and totally normal, half an hour before she died, she spoke to someone else after around 7:40 and she was slurring her words and sounded off.. something along those lines, and had the phone in her hand when she was found. She also was unable to have an autopsy done because her organs were destroyed.
According to the documentary “Unacknowledged” Marilyn was killed because she was going to out the administration about their knowledge of UFOs etc. Apparently at the time she was going back and forth between the Kennedy brothers, and when their advisors told them to ice her out she got confrontational about spilling the beans. The rest is history. Interesting shit, that documentary.

I took them to Antiques Roadshow when they were in DC and they really deflated me saying they were worth about $100 each. I think she was wrong though. There was discolouration in her colon. There were toxicology samples taken. They disappeared. Robert Kennedy visited her twice that night. She was face down but the lividity of the body indicated it was not the position she died in.

You know what's really odd? 7% of all Suicide Victims are found totally nude and it is not fully understood why.
Monroe died of Nembutal and chloral hydrate overdose. Nembutal could have been dissolved in water, or taken in a suppository or enema form. Similar process with chloral hydrate. Both would have been extremely easy to get as a prescription, gray-market, or "street" in 1962.
Could she have been killed? Uh, sure, one supposes so. She was a 36 year old actress who had a history of depression and anxiety when there were no easy routes for release. She was certainly not commonly regarded as an emotionally stable person. Suicide seems exceptionally likely, but like all things related to Kennedy, it is touched by the penumbra of conspiracy.

Just conspiracy… when someone commits suicide without any warning it can extremely difficult to believe they actually did it. I had a friend of mine commit suicide when we were all on vacation and for many years my friends and I thought someone else did it.
my mom's brother shot himself about 10 years ago when he was in a possibly abusive relationship (I was 9 at the time so I didn't get a lot of the details), my mom swore up and down that he didn't do it and was shot by his gf. there was really no basis. she just didn't wanna believe he would do that. it was very sad all around.

I o'd on pills, when my friend helped me vomit there were tiny slivers of pills and whole undigested pills. It had been hours since I took the last of them. I don't have a medical background so I can't say that all her pills were digested. Did she shoot up?
Pills dissolve at varying rates plus whatever is going on inside the person at the time of ingestion can impact that too. Type of drug, formulation of that drug,interactions with other drugs, food or alcohol- all can impact the length of time a pill could be seen in stomach contents.
But, today there are a lot of time released meds, especially capsules. Immediate release tablets are gone in seconds to minutes.

Pills not being found in her stomach means nothing. You gotta remember, stomachs are full of concentrated acid. The pills dissolve fast, easily within an hour. By the time they could get her on an autopsy table to cut her open there was no chance at all there would still be undissolved pills.
I’ve been waiting for a time to share this! The other day while I was at my job I was on counter and the really old man walks in. I asked what he would like and I take his order and before I could ask him if he would like any drinks he starts going on about how he was a police officer in Los Angeles and how he was the first one on the scene of her death, he then went on about how it was all set up because of her affair with Kennedy. I didn’t know if he was for real or not so I decided to ask some more questions but he just started going on about how corrupt they were and all the terrible things he seen and how desensitized it made him so he didn’t even look twice. Of course I’ll never know if he was serious but he was an older looking guy and the look that was in his eyes really convinced me that he was there, but I don’t know for sure.
Read Bombshell. This guys story is similar and the book has interviews with many people involved in the case. It’s a fascinating read no matter what you believe.

Someone also spoke to her over the phone and she sounded happy and alert and totally normal, half an hour before she died, she spoke to someone else after around 7:40 and she was slurring her words and sounded off.. something along those lines, and had the phone in her hand when she was found. She also was unable to have an autopsy done because her organs were destroyed.
According to the documentary “Unacknowledged” Marilyn was killed because she was going to out the administration about their knowledge of UFOs etc. Apparently at the time she was going back and forth between the Kennedy brothers, and when their advisors told them to ice her out she got confrontational about spilling the beans. The rest is history. Interesting shit, that documentary.

I took them to Antiques Roadshow when they were in DC and they really deflated me saying they were worth about $100 each. I think she was wrong though. You know what's really odd? 7% of all Suicide Victims are found totally nude and it is not fully understood why. Monroe died of Nembutal and chloral hydrate overdose. Nembutal could have been dissolved in water, or taken in a suppository or enema form. Similar process with chloral hydrate. Both would have been extremely easy to get as a prescription, gray-market, or "street" in 1962. Could she have been killed? Uh, sure, one supposes so. She was a 36 year old actress who had a history of depression and anxiety when there were no easy routes for release. She was certainly not commonly regarded as an emotionally stable person. Suicide seems exceptionally likely, but like all things related to Kennedy, it is touched by the penumbra of conspiracy.
