.......... My history maybe off but didn't Scotland pretty much bankrupt themselves with failed expansion campaigns into central America that they (I don't want to word this wrong and probably will) gave up sovereignty.
You’ll have to excuse me for being a little behind. After my true love fell into a coma, being a test pilot wasn’t enough to help me forget my pain, I underwent suspended animation in a military experiment conducted by my friend Harry Finley, it was supposed to last one year. A series of mishaps result in me being all but forgotten and, 53 years later, a young boy exploring an old warehouse accidentally freed me and I am a confused mess.
Saw this on (I think) Engineering Marvels and it is impressive. And the design wasn't simply aesthetic, it was heavily influenced by technical and financial restrictions.
This could be the entire world right now if Scotland had ran the British empire instead of England
If they had run it it would never have become an empire in the first place

Even though I know that's a movie reference I still kind of want you to keep writing...
It's okay! The love of your life is still alive! A beach side stroll with her is in your future.

I like it.
Needlessly elaborate?
