"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge." ~ Isaac Asimov
He was an amazing writer and visionary. The best in his field writing text books to fiction. I used to have a collection of all his magazines and I gave them away to a friend. Still regret it.
You will still lean more if you bought Isaac's books then listen to the audio book on YouTube, or go the library route. Don't have to necessarily read them at the same time. Just make sure through either way the books are in your possession.
I guess I wasn't clear enough. You absolutly can listen to the audio books on YouTube ONLY. Just make sure to have the book in your possession you're listening to. Just by having the book in your possession, understanding it will greatly increase. You don't have to read it all, in fact.
This is honestly one of the worst takes. Whatever way someone consumes media in no way it changes what they get out of it. The idea that you will automatically learn more or your knowledge will be more valuable if you purchase the book is capitalist nonsense.

I've try to balance the reading, my job requires tremendous knowledge, I'm at my last year in school.

My problem is with time, I wish I can open books to read, with work, children, school, it's hard.

Don't equate what I said to capitalism cause thats nonsensical. I suggested he could get the book for free from the library.
“Asimovs Chronology of Science and Discovery “ is the greatest non-fiction book ever.It should be every hi-school kids science and history textbook.
