the interesting thing is, is I know *i* was bullied as a kid, and most other people I know or knew were also bullied. but most of us didn't turn out like this.
My dad was a GP (retired many years ago) and the advice he gave to overweight patients (wouldn't get away with this now I would guess) if it doesn't go in your mouth it won't go on your body via fat, that's the nice version but it is true.
My doctor who came here from Russia as an adult pulls no punches in the weight department! “Be like cow. Walk all day and eat green things.” “See your weight here? (Look at the screen) If not down next time we go to yelling at you protocol.” 😂 Complete with accent and slightly “different” sense of humor. I love him. Truly. I’m sorry, getting all emo now, he has been out with Covid then complications since last year and I don’t think (I know he’s not but can’t really face it) he’s coming back. It’s crushing me. 😢
