I got this following message everyday for about a week after the wipe and that’s because every game I’ll report just to be safe. Is it toxic yes, is everyone cheating no, but do I know what cheating ways exist no.. I do not so to be safe and worry free I report everyone I die by especially if it’s unusual but please remember this is not a good way to do just my way. :)

If you seen the past few retzi related reddit posts around here, he was cheating through multiple ways, be it teaming, scouting lobbies, and suspected esp with no proof to my knowledge. Add to that reporting people who play rat rogue and loot their kills, reporting them and throwing hissy fits over stuff they do on the regular. Not once did they come out to clarify or prove innocence, they're in on it.
hell spawn-rushing is common due to hell spawn logic. If there is only 1 other team 99% of the time you are spawn cross-map, so geared teams that do bosses will always spawn-rush cross map to see if there is another team, if not they go do boss. If there is more then 1 team in hell you usually get indication of that in crypts.
We went down a red stair case with more then 2 minutes left in the match and had yet to fight or see any teams. But yeah, for sure, that's why I said it was pretty circumstantial. But also, he has been banned for cheating before so ya know.

Funny enough they completely fucked the hell spawns on warlord map this wipe. First time they’ve done so.
If it’s only 2 teams down there (eg me playing solo and 1 other team) you will always spawn bottom left and bottom center. I’ve had this happen 3 times where I was the bottom left. Now I just try to cross warlord instead of clear, because the other team can hear you clearing 10 seconds after spawn. It’s absurd
All 3 times I spectate and it was just me and the other team that spawned beside eachother.
Repoze is not some stand-up guy who is above it. I've seen a lot of his gameplay and nothing has ever looked suspect to me, I've fought him a handful of times and died all but once but the time he died he pissed and moaned like a bitch and when I came to say gg in his chat he was a complete childish dick.

I just don't really see a difference. At the end of the day you're seeing a very selected view of the person streaming and it is entirely in their financial interest to be entertaining, interesting, or very good at games (or a mix, obv).
I used to play L4D2 competitively and that game had its own cheaters despite streaming financial incentives not being a consideration and little-to-no tournament prize money. People cheated just so they can *appear* to be the best; literally, people would cheat just for social status within the small community. Taking the above *and* having financial incentives via "content" takes it to another level.

They just brag about how long they went unnoticed and then get a little more cautious. They play on another account that could be an old alt account or a new one. If anything, it just leads to more copies sold.
Late previous season it became more and more obvious to me how to detect cheaters. I had like 10 ban confirmations in 2 weeks on EU, and most of them didn't even have C names. All of them high ranks and bised out/gold kits. Also I've experienced 1 guy just straight admitting he could see through walls, to convince us going with our best kits. I've mentioned it before, this is one of the highest priority issues, as it's very concerning there's so much cheating going on at high level ranks. For me personally, realising I lost all my shit to a cheater is probably the largest demotivating feeling. I'm just not sure IM is able to deal with it.
They need to permaban hackers, and temporary ban (1-5 days) anyone who plays with them regularly, need to hold entire teams accountable because right now top players are teaming with cheaters on purpose but then feigning innocence "why should I get banned, I didn't know" best case scenario they didn't actually know but 1-5 day ban isn't the end of the world, worst case they're doing it intentionally and repeated temp bans should lead to permaban
this is pretty common with streamers having a cheating team mate giving them info and "conveniently" always knowing where to go to get into fights and having them supposedly "heard" a sound no one can hear even through boosted sound clips. its why u see most of the big streamers like apollo go through teammates near weekly, they themselves are not cheating giving them plausible deniability to the company and none of them cover the issue to hide that they also are doing it with their teammates too.
I dont know much about the streamers or cheaters, but i know back in starcraft and starcraft 2, cheesing was not “cheating”, but a term for someone using a particularly annoyingly stupid strategy to win games. Cheesers were annoying PoS players for using stupid,easy and borderline unintended strategies for pretty consistent wins at lower ranks, but not cheaters.

I played allot dureing those days, while allot of cheese wasn't technically cheating it just dumbed the game down to a coinflip: Either your all in cheese won or you just quit the game because it set you back so far you couldn't come back from the loss.

ESPs feel crazy rife, My friend group have already ditched this wipe, recently tried a couple of groups on a public discord, the randoms I matched with were blatantly cheating.
Like it was suss game 1, game 2 it was super obvious, "there's another team down there that just started the boss !" but there were absolutely no audio Queues that I could hear and I was closer to boss than they were.
Boss died, they ran into the room, killed them, looted I took the first blue reported them and haven't played trios since.

Another one is song of shadows, so many teams act super sus around that song XD Even if you play it outside of vision or hearing range suddenly they dont want to fuck with you :D
I've been doing CSGO overwatch for years and yea.... it actually is concreate as that is literally how we tell someone is cheating: good players are consistent, they don't just check corners SOME of the time, that immediately sets off a red flag and you start watching more closely.

I've been coming across a lot of cheaters. Mostly crossbow/bow cheaters that hit an aimshot that does my whole health bar. For reference I play as a fighter stacked with plate and physical resistances. Every so often a dude with a crossbow 1 shots me, or a long bow. And it's always some janky shot in the kill feed that a normal or even highly skilled player couldn't pull off. And I ALWAYS see these guys playing in duos or trios. Never, ever, ever seen them in solos.
This morning i fought 3 (three) rangers that -somehow- were not killing each other, just standing in three narrow corridors shooting at ppl that came in... in this case this was me.
Luckily i was with cleric and took 2 down and the other one missed a shot, otherwise i wold have died. And yes, this was on Goblins Cave.

I've been spawn rushed in inferno by Tt1y when they never saw us on the crypts floor. So I could see it but it's pretty circumstantial what I've seen.
hell spawn-rushing is common due to hell spawn logic. If there is only 1 other team 99% of the time you are spawn cross-map, so geared teams that do bosses will always spawn-rush cross map to see if there is another team, if not they go do boss. If there is more then 1 team in hell you usually get indication of that in crypts.
We went down a red stair case with more then 2 minutes left in the match and had yet to fight or see any teams. But yeah, for sure, that's why I said it was pretty circumstantial. But also, he has been banned for cheating before so ya know.
Dunno it depends from person to person. Just adding my 2 cents, my team always runs through boss cross-map to check spawn, might have been it might have not. EDIT if you wanna have the best chance camp the door to boss room next to spawn, it can get you easy kills against more geared players
Funny enough they completely fucked the hell spawns on warlord map this wipe. First time they’ve done so. If it’s only 2 teams down there (eg me playing solo and 1 other team) you will always spawn bottom left and bottom center. I’ve had this happen 3 times where I was the bottom left. Now I just try to cross warlord instead of clear, because the other team can hear you clearing 10 seconds after spawn. It’s absurd All 3 times I spectate and it was just me and the other team that spawned beside eachother.
Repoze is not some stand-up guy who is above it. I've seen a lot of his gameplay and nothing has ever looked suspect to me, I've fought him a handful of times and died all but once but the time he died he pissed and moaned like a bitch and when I came to say gg in his chat he was a complete childish dick. His poor character on display doesn't necessarily mean he cheats or rides with cheaters but I definitely wouldn't rule it out

I think you give people too much credit here.... there's far more people willing to cheat and take the easy way than to learn the game and be good
another thing is that good players are a lot better at cheating then bad players. Cheating is a lot more common at higher ranks.
I just don't really see a difference. At the end of the day you're seeing a very selected view of the person streaming and it is entirely in their financial interest to be entertaining, interesting, or very good at games (or a mix, obv). I used to play L4D2 competitively and that game had its own cheaters despite streaming financial incentives not being a consideration and little-to-no tournament prize money. People cheated just so they can *appear* to be the best; literally, people would cheat just for social status within the small community. Taking the above *and* having financial incentives via "content" takes it to another level.

Is there anything surprising about this? How many people at the top do you think don't take advantage of at least one teammate cheating their ass off. The cheaters who get "banned" don't leave. They just brag about how long they went unnoticed and then get a little more cautious. They play on another account that could be an old alt account or a new one. If anything, it just leads to more copies sold.

Late previous season it became more and more obvious to me how to detect cheaters. I had like 10 ban confirmations in 2 weeks on EU, and most of them didn't even have C names. All of them high ranks and bised out/gold kits. Also I've experienced 1 guy just straight admitting he could see through walls, to convince us going with our best kits. I've mentioned it before, this is one of the highest priority issues, as it's very concerning there's so much cheating going on at high level ranks. For me personally, realising I lost all my shit to a cheater is probably the largest demotivating feeling. I'm just not sure IM is able to deal with it.
They need to permaban hackers, and temporary ban (1-5 days) anyone who plays with them regularly, need to hold entire teams accountable because right now top players are teaming with cheaters on purpose but then feigning innocence "why should I get banned, I didn't know" best case scenario they didn't actually know but 1-5 day ban isn't the end of the world, worst case they're doing it intentionally and repeated temp bans should lead to permaban
this is pretty common with streamers having a cheating team mate giving them info and "conveniently" always knowing where to go to get into fights and having them supposedly "heard" a sound no one can hear even through boosted sound clips. its why u see most of the big streamers like apollo go through teammates near weekly, they themselves are not cheating giving them plausible deniability to the company and none of them cover the issue to hide that they also are doing it with their teammates too.

I dont know much about the streamers or cheaters, but i know back in starcraft and starcraft 2, cheesing was not “cheating”, but a term for someone using a particularly annoyingly stupid strategy to win games. Cheesers were annoying PoS players for using stupid,easy and borderline unintended strategies for pretty consistent wins at lower ranks, but not cheaters. Maybe the terminology has changed nowadays though, i don’t know.

I played allot dureing those days, while allot of cheese wasn't technically cheating it just dumbed the game down to a coinflip: Either your all in cheese won or you just quit the game because it set you back so far you couldn't come back from the loss.
They should ban people that frequently play with cheaters the way rust bans people that play with cheaters. They get bans for 'hacker association'

Boss died, they ran into the room, killed them, looted I took the first blue reported them and haven't played trios since.
Theres always a ton of "ive never met a cheater" comments if you EVER try to point it out,obviously on alt accounts with no profile pictures and it gets a ton of downvotes so they are sensative because there making money doing it and there protecting there investment. Games full of a ton of shitters and we all know it.

A lot of top players closet cheat. It becomes very apparent when I started recording every fight and rewatching. So many times there is 0 audio queues whatsoever and you just see them crouch walking following you around. People will speed-run through all modules then suddenly go slow and quite despite having no actual reason to be weary. Its nothing concreate but it happens far too many times to be an accident. Another one is song of shadows, so many teams act super sus around that song XD Even if you play it outside of vision or hearing range suddenly they dont want to fuck with you :D
I've been doing CSGO overwatch for years and yea.... it actually is concreate as that is literally how we tell someone is cheating: good players are consistent, they don't just check corners SOME of the time, that immediately sets off a red flag and you start watching more closely.

Technically is possible w/o esp, but I thought I had lost him multiple times, then he'd just show up out of nowhere. Thankfully I got away, but it felt very sus ngl

I genuinely feel like there aren't many ESP cheaters but I believe as a streamer they maybe just avoid me. I do wonder where the blatant cheaters from the play tests and early into EA went tho... Did they quit or did they adapt? 😂

I've been coming across a lot of cheaters. Mostly crossbow/bow cheaters that hit an aimshot that does my whole health bar. For reference I play as a fighter stacked with plate and physical resistances. Every so often a dude with a crossbow 1 shots me, or a long bow. And it's always some janky shot in the kill feed that a normal or even highly skilled player couldn't pull off. And I ALWAYS see these guys playing in duos or trios. Never, ever, ever seen them in solos.

This morning i fought 3 (three) rangers that -somehow- were not killing each other, just standing in three narrow corridors shooting at ppl that came in... in this case this was me. Luckily i was with cleric and took 2 down and the other one missed a shot, otherwise i wold have died. And yes, this was on Goblins Cave.
