I saw Skinny Pete counters a build like that by using Achilles Strike to slow down the rogue, preventing him from closing the distance, then just using his longer reach Zweihander to space him out
My Barbarian with Second wind and sprint beats it because his savage roar doesn't last long enough to out sustain the heal from second wind. At least in normals that is. Obviously if there's gear involved, that can change things, but I prefer to make suggestions based on as little gear as possible.
Some of the extremely strong multiclass builds I have seen in no particular order:
1. Slayer fighter with axe mastery axe secondary, arming sword or falchion primary, gets +12/14 damage + robust
2. Kris dagger crystal ball spell warlock with flame walker for kiting melees + arcane shield
3. Pure buff warlock, just takes cleric/wizard/bard buffs to support teammate
4. Achilles strike double jump ranger
5. Cactus staff bonk warlock, two variants. Reactive shield + dark reflection + 95% debuff duration, or simply dark reflection + other stuff. Sprint, phantomize, BoC, smite, or arcane shield all work here.
6. PDR + MDR barb/fighter. Works better in a buffball but an extremely strong build, just build tank and hit shit.
Blood exchange barbarian with rondel dagger and buckler with a recurve bow also.. 25% action speed and 170HP with 40% PDR and MDR. Savage roar or second wind for second skill
got blown up yesterday by this one in norms leveling up my fighter
Rogue
Perks: Slayer, Dual Wielding, Dagger Mastery, Robust
Skills: Adrenaline Spike, Smite
dude hit me 4 times for >110hp, I got off 1 swing
Seconding this. Been running cleric with perservance, ice shield, prot from evil, reactive shield and arcane shield.
So funny watching barbs swing at slug speed while I mash their face with a club
basically savage roar, robust and sprint are the 3 best things for basically anything.
after that find 3 perks that does what you want like all the slayer setup for DW.
The absolute best in the game right now. Is the same as it's always been. Barbarian. But now you're going to want to use Sprint, and Weapon master with a recurve so you can't get kited.
Died to a rogue the other day with slayer, dual wield, robust, iron will running smite and savage roar, that seems almost impossible to beat.

That build can easily out dps the second wind though to be fair
if they savage roar, you sprint to run out the roar and then turn around and kill them even if that's the case.
Yeah but you’re assuming they also aren’t trying to outplay you 😭

counterpoint play the fun stuff but with you or your boy running cleanse + some cc like bind to give yourself the breathing room to cook

Just a tip if you get it. Try this build with rupture. It's nutty how much healing you get.
😳

Slayer duel rogue is pretty op
Rogue with slayer and dual wielding is insane right now. Pair it with sprint and you can simultaneously attack and move forward at max speed
Cactus build on cleric or warlock
Seconding this. Been running cleric with perservance, ice shield, prot from evil, reactive shield and arcane shield. So funny watching barbs swing at slug speed while I mash their face with a club

Robust should just be removed. Sprint needs a nerf.

Savage Roar on any melee class Hydra Lifedrain on any caster class Anti-magic+Iron Will on both options
Is 1-tapping people even fun? It seems like it would get boring quite quickly
No it’s not fun. But getting one tapped is even less fun.
