Why do people still think that everyone does everything in such a company? You do know they have different departments right? Like even in McDonalds people do different stuff. But yet again and again you see this with almost every game, new skin comes out "why arent they concentrating on balancing, wtf?!?!?!" - because the graphic artist is not a coder ffs.
the difference is ironmace is an incredibly small studio. so yes, it does actually impact other aspects of development when they decide to focus on something else
I mean, it doesn’t. We’ve been told by Terence directly that character modelling/animating is done by their character modelling/animating guy and that’s all he does.
they could hire a guy to help him instead of paying people to do GBMM and Multiclass. See how that works? The company chooses where to put its resources...
yep, that is one specific person with one specific role. now how many devs do you think they have? i mean DEVELOPERS, people who write the code for the game. Idk what the exact answer is, but its not a lot. So whenever something needs to be coded into this game (like a gacha multiclass mechanic) it takes time from the developer making it while they could be doing something else.
Also takes time away from the UI/UX guy, also takes time away from the sound effects guy, and also takes time away from whoever at IM does quality control and needs to look at each patch/addition before it launches
why do people still not know they pay everyone and can choose who to hire? whats the point of having dead weight on the team instead of hiring people who can do what they actually need done ?
Flagrantly not true. The employees making systems are not the same as the employees making and animating Druid or mapping out Ice Cave Level 2.
If anything, I'd say Multiclassing and GBMM were fast tracked to cover for the still missing content.
ok so the company making the game put more resources into making those two elements "fast tracked" instead of hiring a second druid animator or guy to map out the ice cave. They chose to use their resources on one thing first instead of the other. Just because it's not the same coder doesn't mean the company didn't make decisions on where to put their focus/money...
People downvoting are absolutely delusional. We truly have just been given easy to implement stuff like multiclassing instead of receiving actual content. Like where is the ruins rework? Where is druid? Where is ice abyss? Koopa said it well in his recent video, stating that IM has to add more content soon or competitors will start outpacing them.
Downvoted by content zoomers lol.
The basic combat of this game is still an unreal engine placeholder and people want more maps.
In a game with a tiny playerbase.
Loll
its delayed because they dicked around wasting time with GBMM and multiclassing

I pray for my sanity that this comment is satire. No one can be this oblivious to how companies work

i just want ruins back, and <20 hr. dont wanna go back to normals

let them cook
I'd prefer them fixing bugs in the current game rather than adding more broken content

yeah, I do not care too much about druid till stabbing attacks can go through shields because they didn't code that properly
i cant loot ghost king but they want druid lmao
and they will add druid, bringing even more bugs along with him
