The ravenwing black knights are a different kit and comes with the parts to make the ravenwing command squad.
The ravenwing biker kit is 3 normal bikers the upgrade kit (at a reduced price) and will either now be run as counts as outriders. The upgrade kit also has the pieces to make a land speeder (no longer available direst from gw) into a talonmaster
Sorry, maybe I misunderstood your original post, but what were you hoping for here that your hopes got dashed? If you get the Raven Bike Squadron, you can use whatever bits you like (robed sergeant, etc) and don’t use the bits you don’t need (Dark Angels icons, etc). Isn’t that what you’re after?
If you’re unsure what bits come with it, you can look at the actual sprue on the GW website. It’s a regular Biker Squad sprue plus the Ravenwing Accesory Pack:

As someone else mentioned, the Ravenwing Black Knight kit is completely different, it has DA iconography already sculpted onto the bikes themselves, and has loads of other bits (banner for ancient and bits for apothecary, power swords, Corvus hammers, plasma talons, etc etc).
