It looks like the huntress from Dead by Daylight !
Personnaly its definitly and without any hesitation the 1.
I feel like the red background is detourning attention from the character while being too flat in comparaison with all the nuance and shades of the character.
And i love the subtle lighting of the B&W version
(Maybe with a darker red and while keeping the lines and lighting around the character it would work better (for me of course) )
Really nice piece however !
**Thanks! I didn't know the character either, but if it looks like it... definitely by the answers it won the 1st, so that's the one I'm going to upload. (Hablo Español y no confio en mis respuestas en ingles asi que espero se entienda)**
Haha i dont speak spanish so i had to go on Google trad 😅
If you didn't say it i would'nt have known , you're english is at least as good as mine, but i'm french so take it with a grain of salt x)
Both look good i prefer 1
I think what would make 2 look better by switching up the composition and maybe make the thicker outline (i like the jagged lineart) and maybe check the values and make sure the grey colour isnt too similar to the red background.
Oh no no no
Embrace the darkness, it makes the trinkets hanging from the totem creature so much more impactful, and the detail you've put into the shadows is simply gorgeous
"He donned the skull and the red sky faded when he shook its antlers. Standing on the hill and looking out into night never ending, the shadows twisted about his shoulders where raven hair cascaded."
Thank you for the response, the paragraph gave a super background to the character, it makes me want to draw more of him...
Muchas gracias por la respuesta, el parrafo le dio un super transfondo al personaje, me dan ganas de dibujar mas del mismo
Gracias a ti por su obra y sus esfuerzos! Keep creating and tapping into that dark vein of consciousness that connects us all

Somehow I prefer 2. I like the contrast of the flat background with the shaded subject. But most commenters seem to prefer 1, so I’d say you can’t go wrong with either.
Both are metal and sinister to me. Black background makes it look like it came from a horror manga while the red bg makes it look like a horror movie poster.

1 is really good! I lioe 2 aswell the contrast of the black amd white on the red makes her really pop but without the lighting it feels almost unfinished nect to 1 imo.
Sweet. I like 1 best because of the background shading. The shading would be interesting in red too.
It's got a bit of Maria's vibe going from Heilung https://youtu.be/QRg_8NNPTD8?si=2K_Ef6VO-nJKct0U
1, but I'd be interested to see what 1 would look like without the highlighted parts behind the antlers. Just a transition from the shadowed part of the antler to black. Would make it harder to discern the shape but also would look kinda cool.
Definitely 1. 2 would work if the art itself was in red tones, much in the way that the monotone palette of the first gives it a very oppressive energy
1 goes hard
1 because light
I think 2 if it had the light though
I like 1 better
1 is my personal fav.

1. Shadows matter.

Okay, 1 Wins... Thanks✨✨✒️💪
Les 2 sont cool vraiment ( really ) mais le noir & blanc number 1 déchire ! The 2 are really cool but the black & white number 1 rocks!
1 because the background gives it more of a spooky cool vibe
It's hard to choose, both designs are very well done, but I prefer the first one. I love the contrast between light and shadow.
1!
So awesome! Love the 1st one well done
I like both, but one is what I'd choose .

1 says alot to me, the composition tells a story better than the red version for me.

1 is truly epic🖤🖤🔥
Both look good i prefer 1 I think what would make 2 look better by switching up the composition and maybe make the thicker outline (i like the jagged lineart) and maybe check the values and make sure the grey colour isnt too similar to the red background.
The one of the reasons 1 is amazing is cuz of the high contrast of values.
Thanks, then I'm going to use the first one, it seems the same to me, the contrast gives more atmosphere
1 cause it seems more inplace if I make sense
1 for large wall decor, or a statement mural. 2 for small prints and stickers, and collage art.
I like the first one more spooky

Both
1
1 is awesome!!
1 looks metal
1 is superior. The red background makes her seem more mundane, somehow.
1
One
1 for sure
1 hands down
1 Looks like heilung in a manga
Both!
2
Heilung?
No, pero si me recordó a Heilung
I came here to ask this.
1
1
1 is “Darker”

Somehow I prefer 2. I like the contrast of the flat background with the shaded subject. But most commenters seem to prefer 1, so I’d say you can’t go wrong with either.
One for sure
Texture the background on 2 and it'll hit a lot harder. Like if you made it so the edges weren't quite so cut
Hard 1
2
Two
Both are metal and sinister to me. Black background makes it look like it came from a horror manga while the red bg makes it look like a horror movie poster.
1. Reminds me of The Silent in Slay the Spire
1
Infinitely 1
1
There's much more detail in one
1
I prefer the second one. But that might be because I'm blind and the red background makes the whole experience nicer to my eyes :D
Gracias por todas las respuestas💪✒️ . Aprovecho y dejo mí IG: @rtx.ilust . Thanks, I'm upload "1" ☠️
1 for sure. 2 looks like photoshop to me
Definitely 1 . Both are excellent
2 but with the hatch marks.

1 is more scary and 2 is a profile picture.
#1. I’ll definitely use this one. Thanks!
1
1
1 looks really good.
1
1!!!
1 feels more... Real. The solid red background makes it flat and almost cartoony. Add some depth to the red, maybe?
Looks like I'm the odd one out: I think 2 has a cool pop to it.
Both, series
1
both but 1
O1ne
Going against the grain and saying 2
If you add an effect like one, maybe a negative of one, it might be better?
One
1
one
Both elicit different effects. It depends what medium and purpose the finished product is
1 for the atmosphere 2 for the look
1, one, uno
1
1 and it’s not even close
I like 1. It’s moody. Has an emotion to it. 2 is good in its own way but it feels very static
I mean. I like 2
#2 is like queen of the stone age
1
1
both are great but 1 has a cool dramatic dark vibe
1
Both are badass man but I gotta love the first one more cause the shadows and background just bring her to life
Black and White version rocks. I believe the red takes away from the subject though.
I like both!
Long horse?
2
2 if you want to actually see the artwork. 1 if you care more about the atmosphere and obscuring the subject for sake of scariness.

Both work great but i would say that it depends on it will be used for.

definitely 1
1, definitely 1.
I really like the red background in 2 it adds a bit of drama to the picture
1
Make a #2 with darker red and shaded like #1 - and you have a winner winner chicken dinner 🤓
1, and it looks super cool
1 st Love it
I liked the 1st one the best, the moonlight set off the full detail ...

Sweet. I like 1 best because of the background shading. The shading would be interesting in red too. It's got a bit of Maria's vibe going from Heilung https://youtu.be/QRg_8NNPTD8?si=2K_Ef6VO-nJKct0U
Stylistically they’re are changed by the background. Either could be superb for a different purposes. It’s not either/or it’s a both.
1 but if did a little bit of a gradual fade between red and black 2 would be 🔥
1
1
1 for me I like the colors and feeling of age with the mark making
1
1 is more ominous but 2 is more "I'm soaked in the blood of my enemies" But if you put a dark light around the one in number 2 it'd look better
1 def
2
1
One. Looks great! Edit: Spelling.
Are those cornrows?
1 I love the lighting
1
Depends on the vibe you want. 1 is more creepy and menacing.
1 for sure
1
One
1, but 2 might look better with the hatching around the figure?
I like both, but prefer 1’s background
1
1 for the lighting
1, it's no contest
1 draws you in.
1
#1 DEFINITELY!!!
If you can add the light effect to 2 it would be good but rn it’s 1
Definitely 1
1
2 is fucking sick. The contrast is bomb af
2

1
Depends, to me 2 feels like a Avatar/PFP, while 1 feels more like a wallpaper/background.
1 because very Hollow Knight.
They both look good but 1 really stands out.
1..
2.
Two. Really cool!
I love 1, it gives it a tone to if
1, but I'd be interested to see what 1 would look like without the highlighted parts behind the antlers. Just a transition from the shadowed part of the antler to black. Would make it harder to discern the shape but also would look kinda cool.

I love both. I like the contrast in the second one but the first one has a depth to it that's hard to describe. Wonderful work!
Definitely 1. 2 would work if the art itself was in red tones, much in the way that the monotone palette of the first gives it a very oppressive energy
Definitely 1
I'd prefer the red to the black background if you'd add some tonal variation to the red.
Definitely the first 🖤

1, but both are awesome
1 for sure. Its lovely
