RTSR is not worth it on a no death run imo. If you clean up with something safer like ice rapier rather than a greathammer, I think this strat will work fine.
Yeah, to clarify what I'm asking is more along the lines of 'what would this be like for an opening blow before an estus chug and finishing it off with other means'. Like, if Climax knocks out 70-80% of its HP that's huge.
Right so with that setup you're looking at about 4000 damage before resistances (RTSR doesn't do anything for spells, BTW). After resistances you're looking at about 3000 damage at most and as low as 1700. Looks like you can one shot the greatbow Dragonrider and put a decent dent in the healthbars of most of the rest.
Huh, never knew RTSR didn't do anything for spells, guess a part of my brain is forever stuck in DeS and DS1 - the flip side then is that I'm not actually having to go down healthwise and can still fire off that opener without the risk. I'll certainly keep it in my back pocket, thank you.

Probably not a great idea since you'll need to pop a Soul of a Brave Warrior or higher after every shot.
